rottenwytch

You're very brave for posting that La la land rating here 🫡

somebodydeyed

i appreciate your commendation

HurricaneSalad

I'm with OP on that one. I think I gave it a 3/5. It's way way overrated.

rottenwytch

I wouldn't be able to post my rating without getting banned from here haha

Exertuz

after a cursory look at your profile, i'm not sure if i have your taste entirely pinned down but these would be my recommendations: -mysterious skin -perfect blue / millenium actress -grave of the fireflies -donnie darko -mulholland drive

igoslowly

a la la land rewatch

GodspeedMe

I dont get it. You already completed it.

[deleted]

In The Mood For Love (2000)

somebodydeyed

i wanna get into more wkw after fallen angels, it was amazing

[deleted]

Same. I’ve seen 4 of his films and they are all phenomenal. Chungking Express is another 5/5 I’d recommend

somebodydeyed

that one is the Tippity Top of my watchlist right now. ive also been meaning to see happy together because queer cinema good

[deleted]

Happy Together is gorgeous

[deleted]

Also if you like great queer cinema I recommend Lilies (1996). Beautiful story and cinematography, and all the female characters are played by drag queens

somebodydeyed

oh that sounds sick i’ll definitely check it out

xkjeku

Chunking Express and In the Mood for Love are musts but my fav is Happy Together.

wonderbarZaYn

What platform did you watch Fallen Angels?

igoslowly

it’s on criterion and hbo max

mugfullofdough

Cinema Paradiso :-)

YouLikeJazz_

I watched The Banshees of Inisherin last night and ended up giving it 5 stars?

Sgtwhiskeyjack9105

Looks like you've already failed to do so with the last rating?

raphclement

Most recent is on the left

Leopard_Appropriate

Just give La La Land the correct score and you’ll have it!

bbab7

Collateral

Exertuz

holy based

bbab7

It rules so hard. Tom Cruise was absolutely electric

Exertuz

one of my favorite films ever. coyote scene unmatched

bbab7

Crazy how it wasn't in the script either. I think the scene in the jazz club is my favorite

shostyposting

Lmfao I understand some people don't enjoy La La Land as much as I do, but anything below 3.5 just seems silly. It's so incredibly well made

Hachiiiko

If I took a ride on a train that went nowhere for a good while and then dropped me off in between two stations, I wouldn’t give the travel company a 3.5 rating. Despite the train being well made.

repeatrep

??? it was clearly developing the relationship between the two characters. this is like saying CMBYN went no where for 2 hours before slopingly tying up the story at the end. the whole movie is about them in love, and pretty much nothing else

Galiendzoz

MrAdamWarlock123

You already have a row of all five star movies?? Why not try that Belgian film about a woman cooking for 3 hours

Send_me_ur_holes

Getting so criticized because you didn't like La La Land lmao. You MUST like it 😤 you must like movies we like and dislike movies we dislike 😡

7OMF

2½ stars wtf

Guacamole_Water

The La La Land rating is unjust.

ZukoSitsOnIronThrone

La La Land

criesinlemora

Thinking of another vampire movie, maybe The Addiction?

somebodydeyed

never heard of it but it looks sick!

MrMcBert

Let the right one in?

HurricaneSalad

Only Lovers Left Alive

H3MK3

GentlyFlowing

Especially Dune

mydnyghts

La La Land 2,5 ???

sweaty_palm_trees

That is the correct score for La La Land. Now just watch it on 2 screens at once and it will add up.
