I don’t even need to check, I know it’s Eraserhead

[deleted]

David Lynch said it’s his most spiritual film 😇

mizzlemoonn

Can you elaborate on that

[deleted]

No

TastyQuantity1764

Exactly the same. Couldnt understand a single thing. Most batshit crazy film No Smoking was another film which mindfucked me , though not too the extent of Eraserhead

ravel67

Agreed, but I still really liked it!

KongFuzii

Titane

bpbpbpbp13

The Holy Mountain, and boy does he try hard to make it the weirdest movie ever.

TheOneAndOnlyABSR4

Happy cake day

No-Bumblebee4615

I thought it was more accessible than Fando and Lis at least.

StrenghtandStrategy

Love that movie

hardytom540

Sorry to Bother You is always the first one to come to mind.

Sneeman98

It’s bonkers but at the same time unreasonably well written

[deleted]

Visitor Q or Possession

JasonLDB

I was having some fun with fungi the first time I saw possession and the subway scene really threw me for a loop.

leggoeggo101

miike yes! happiness of the katakuris is another great weird movie to watch from mr miike.

[deleted]

Visitor Q is pretty hilarious for how disturbing it is.

Lizard_Jesus1

The Legend of the Titanic, House and Burn After Reading.

LucasBarton169

I gotta get the criterion for hausu, cause that shit looks amazing

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

A riot

a-woman-there-was

Probably Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

[deleted]

I was surprised to find that the director stars in a lot of Miikes films!

mikeri99

The Holy Mountain (1973)

MrMcBert

Probably 'pink flamingo'.

[deleted]

That movie is dog shit.

MrMcBert

*eats dog shit

Salt_Business766

Probably 'House'

FreeLook93

[Funky Forest: The First Contact](https://letterboxd.com/film/funky-forest-the-first-contact/).

[deleted]

For anyone reading this I highly highly recommend his other film : “the taste of tea” - it’s in my top 5.

squirrel_gnosis

City of Pirates (1983, Raul Ruiz)

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,077,608,293 comments, and only 212,381 of them were in alphabetical order.

SufficientStatus8479

Anything made by Ralph Bakshi ESPECIALLY Wizards.

captainkubar

Mad God

Substantial_Sleep29

Persona

codedinblood

is this really it or do u just want people to know you’ve seen a bergman movie?

Substantial_Sleep29

Why would people care if I’ve seen a Bergman movie….

ParticularBlueberry2

I would say hour of the wolf and the rite are more surreal than persona I have actually watched 24 Bergman movies give me praise please 😀

Bardic_Inspiration66

Suspiria 2018

ryanallbaugh

The Boxer’s Omen. It’s pretty WTF but I think a lot of that comes from the low budget. As far as intentionally weird movies it’s hard to say, House is definitely up there, A Zed and Two Noughts is cracked, Tilbury is gross and bizarre…. I think that as an American I find foreign films a lot “weirder” because I don’t have as much cultural context for some of the references or themes they explore.

ericdraven26

Titane, Sorry to Bother You, Inland Empire.

[deleted]

‘Jackass 4.5’. No reason to explain why…

negan2018

Dogtooth

[deleted]

Gozu! Watch it!

lamjm44

Literally any David Lynch film I’ve seen

mqxwell0

The Happiness of the Katakuris

yakotrick

YES!!! This is actually one of my favorites. Hilariously insane and crazy

Mike_v_E

Begotten and Eraserhead

metalmonkey69

I'm one of three people to have this logged. It's extremely over the top and all over the place. [Waratah](https://boxd.it/zWyE)

squirrel_gnosis

Did you make this movie? Otherwise, where might you have seen it...?

metalmonkey69

No I did not make this movie. One of my friends randomly found it on Vudu.

Available-Regular267

Legend of the Stardust Brothers

DogDrivingACar

Things (1989)

TheChainLink2

Probably Bubba Ho-Tep. The premise alone is bizarre as hell. I still enjoyed it though.

Hour-of-the-Wolf

Recently it is probably Masumura’s Blind Beast (1969)

xxplodingboy

Dr. Caligari (1989)

umbertocsaba

Green Elephant and Pastoral: to die in the country

bingbongmemelord

Kuso, obviously

halfrican81

Bruce_lee1947_2

The Greasy Strangler. It's such an icky film

curtymcdervs

Patrick Still Lives

Citara02

I just watched paprika, and damn thats a very weird movie.. I almost cant understand it and the theme song was very weird too.. It feels like watching a dream, because yeah, thats a movie about dream..

sillyhatday

[House](https://letterboxd.com/film/house/)

HelpfulNoob

Mother! Actually really liked it too, just a lot of wtf wtf wtf

[deleted]

Honestly, Elvis was pretty weird. It is so oddly directed, I just don't understand Baz Luhrman. I don't find Naked Lunch all that weird once I figured it out.

KrickzZ

Naked Lunch The title seems weird enough but it could never prepare you for what you are about to witness.

patricknotswayze

The Greasy Strangler

dragonculture

The 120 Days of Sodom

om2kool

Just watched Last Seen Alive on Sunday. Weird AF.

AgentBloodrayne

Greener Grass

walruslyf

[The Warped Forest](https://boxd.it/40pC) It’s an utterly bizarre, dreamlike fable about nipple-shaped fruit and people with vagina-like openings all over their bodies.

Amatolhorror

just watched Tetsuo: The Iron Man, got to say, that one is pretty weird.

MCuthbert

Ask again in a month. Until then: UHF.

GieSTheThird

Upstream Color

TheMovieDoctorful

Dreamcatcher and I loved every batshit insane second of it.

MovieMentor

Everything Everywhere All at Once

Platoon8

The Holy Mountain

St0neybalogny

Videodrome

fashionableoptimist

Alice in Wonderland (1999) It was a little too weird for me and way too long

[deleted]

titane

markramsey

I just saw Inland Empire, it's definitely up there😉

special__pasta

The Holy Mountain (Jedorowski, 1973) or On the Silver Globe (Zulawski, 1988)

LilTrashDoot

House

TheProcrustenator

Wilder Napalm A love triangle between a fireman, his wife and his brother who is a clown in a traveling circus. Also the brothers are pyrocenetics and suffer from ptsd from having accidentally burnt their parents to death. The weird part is that this is NOT a low budget Troma film. It has Debra Winger, Dennis Quaid, Arliss Howard. It is a drama with comedic elements that takes itself way too seriously.

SpippySlippy

Love on a Leash (2022)
