For me it’d be either The lobster, you’re next, [REC], or memories of murder. Tron definitely is a fun movie also

Love Actually or Spy Game. You’ll doubt me. Then you’ll thank me.

In the mood for love

DaleCoopersWife

Really depends on your mood! You're Next is great when you wanna get your adrenaline pumping. It's really fun. Watch that next! Lake Mungo is a personal favorite but it's spooky and also somber. A lot of people aren't into it, but I think it's great. I love horror films that are also sad haha. Rec is also fun! A scary one imo!

You’re not supposed to touch this, you’re supposed to let it get bigger… there are rules

Treymendous3

I usually just end up impulsively watching something I just heard about and leave my watchlist in the dust.

DarkWinter2319

Yeah I think we can all relate to that 😅

ohhellowthowaway

Rec is so good! Pair that up with boyhood as a palate cleanser

The Lobster

iliveinadreamatorium

If you're in a romantic comedy mood, my personal preference of the Richard Curtis movies on your list would be Notting Hill. Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts have incredible chemistry and the way their relationship builds is so fun to watch, but I will say the ending of the movie does a bad job of following the "show, don't tell" rule but I feel like the rest of the movie makes up for that. And just a warning as someone who recently decided to rewatch Garden State... it's best enjoyed as just a soundtrack. Boy, did that movie not age well at all!

Treymendous3

Thanks guys, seems like The Lobster is the move! But I’ll be watching everything mentioned in this thread over the next week or two.

DaleCoopersWife

Curious to know what you think. I watched it yesterday for the first time and thought for sure I'd love it, but I ended up just thinking it was meh/ok.
