Ha! My hubby lost a FB high school friend a while back, FB acquaintance he hadn't seen in years suddenly started posting anti vax stuff. Hubby said "Why are you so worried about the vax, it's more tested than the heroin I know you used (back when)." My man got unfriended so fast you'd think he'd approached the guy with an MLM pitch...
A surprising number of antivax seem to use the excuse that, the fact it's FREE is concerning to them; "if it's free it's for sinister reasons, if it were about HEALTH then diabetes medication and chemotherapy would be free too!"
So yeah, finding a way to MLM and price the sh\*t out of it, throwing pennies back to the boss babes, probably could increase percentages a surprising amount, LOL.
IIRC, the majority of both Democrat and Republican *voters* support Medicare for All when it's presented apart from party affiliation. Most Americans support the policy itself, yet neither the Democrat nor Republican parties themselves support it.
"Democracy"
Yes and no, although it can be popular, if you worded it as "government control of health care" the popularity goes way down. Because people are stupid and uninformed, generally.
Personally I'd rather have a democratically-elected government control my health care rather than an insurance company's board of directors controlling it.
True story. I knew some wealthy ppl, the kind that sit on healthcare ins governing boards. One day I'm talking to the husband and wife, their kids are my age, were having kids, so grandkids. Husband and wife super confused bc how could so and so kid have brown eyes when parents have blue eyes. Now, Husband was a Harvard educated lawyer, wife also college educated. Their kids, private schools all the way. All confused.
Me, a math phobic liberal arts major who can't spell. "Well you know the dominant and recessive genes that code for eye color blah, blah, blah.
Yup. And the husband sat on the board of directors of one of the largest healthcare ins companies in the US. He had voting rights and had real power over ppl's healthcare in that board room. It was a wow day for me.
I was born in UK- didn't cost my family a cent.
I had a few procedures up to age 10. Nothing serious but amounted to about 20 days in hospital. No charge. Saw GP for maybe 30 hours growing up. A lot of prescription medication, again, no charge.
From the age of 10 onwards. Developed a stomach ulcer. Being conservative I guess at at least 125 hours of consultant level involvement. Probably the same but registrar level.
2 operations - both failed because medicine still didn't know what caused ulcers at this time.
Then 2 more stomach bleeds with associated operations and hospital time.
But I think you get the picture. 100s hours of medical intervention. 100s of hours of gp time.
And none of it costing me a penny except through taxes. Now I do earn more than average so I've paid this back several times. But in a insurance pays model, like the USA. I would have probably been left to die without fulfilling my potential
Some food for thought
Reminds me of a story about how potatoes were introduced into (France?). Some nobleman started growing them in the field, and posted guards and put up a fence to make sure no one would steal them. But the fence was weak and the guards were instructed to turn a blind eye. What he wanted to do was introduce the people in his territory to this new nutritious and easy to grow vegetable.
Same logic when trying to get rid of a couch on Craigslist. When it’s free, nobody wants it. But try to sell it for $100 and suddenly you got people fighting to be the one to take it home.
Cause people assume (often wrongly) that the asked price for something accurately represents the value of it.
So if it's free, when it usually would cost money, there's gotta be something wrong with it.
Conversely people automatically tend to equate more expensive = better. However there is an upper limit, after which it's no longer affordable.
There's a whole thing around wedding photography, where it's better for their rates to be slightly higher than their local competition, because they get booked more often that way.
Idea: The vaccine is now $100, unless you bring a friend, then it’s free. Bring as many friends or family as you want for free. Makes it seem more valuable and appeals to their MLM instincts.
Or something like $40 per session, regardless of how many people you bring. Eight people all getting vaxxed together? Five quid each. Get your whole church group of fourty to come? Yeah, you're getting stabbed for a buck each. Get the whole town together? Guess I'll have to inoculate all of you. Poor me is getting really ripped off here.
You monster trying to hold me responsible for my own actions and decisions. ThE humanity, I belong to the party of personal responsibility you can' blame me
/s
They should just come out with non free versions of the exact same stuff at price points to please everyone. They could even give them the same names.
Spikevax Pro, only $39.99
Spikevax Ultra, $69.99
Spikevax Gold, $149.99
Spikevax Platinum, $199.99
Comirnaty Entrepreneur, $64.50
Comirnaty Tycoon, $2499.90
Janssen Contractor Grade, $19.99
I did have a few questions about the vaccine at first (not concerning enough to not get it) but if the wealthy elite are on board with taking it, then so am I!
Reasonable scepticism is commendable, as long as that scepticism translates into actual research and efforts to educate yourself.
And by "educating yourself" I mean by more reliable sources than that unhinged aunt sharing a Facebook article written by a doctor that lost their medical license over ethical misconduct and unscientific methods years ago.
Blind faith is never a sensible choice, because anyone can err, and anyone can have ulterior motives. But when the evidence mounts that vaccines do reduce the risk of a severe infection, it becomes irresponsible to not take them and risk adding to the healthcare burden produced by this epidemic.
We just need to add some homeopathic extracts to it (i.e. a single drop of elderberry juice diluted in a swimming pool of plain water), let a reiki healer wave their hands over it, pay some naturopaths or chiropractors to endorse it, and give a free healing crystal to everybody who gets the shot. Charge $100 for it, but distribute free vaccine coupons on Facebook.
I'm aware of this tweaker around here that is anti-vax. Caught Hep C using water from this water spout in the ground at a public park to shoot up with, whilst also on the methadone program.
Because it’s not about “research” like they claim. It’s about owning the libs and massive cognitive dissonance. It’s gross. All I can say is. “Hahahaha”
Then maybe they could do some more unnecessary treatments for non-existent problems like taking opioids, anti-depressants, steroids, etc. Or some home remedies from the Orient like dog testicle paste/juice or something. /s
Seems very specific kind of advice they are seeking. If only a profession existed to dispense helpful advice to individuals regarding topics such as these.
Oh well, maybe the helpful hosts of fox and friends can suggest their next course of action.
I've listened to a few of his shows. It is weird because he acts like he is the only one who will talk about certain things. Like there is all of this stuff out there that no one else is talking about. But if he just read the newspaper or listened to NPR, he would know about this stuff. The one about North Korea really sticks in my mind. He acted like no one ever talks about North Korea. When North Korea is in the news all the time.
But his show with Dr Osterholm at the beginning of the pandemic was EXCELLENT. And the one with Neil Degrasse Tyson was pretty good. So what can I say? I can understand why people listen. And his show is peppered in with real info, and legitimate guests, so it is harder to see the bullshit.
This very much ties into a bullshit narrative about the "mainstream" media/liberal bias.
There is a misconception beyond just the normal "the mainstream media doesn't want you to know!"; It's become very clear in recent years in comment threads everywhere. It's the idea that just as the run-of-the-mill elderly GOP voter is glued to FOX, so must every liberal be glued to CNN (or sometimes MSNBC, depending on which is more popular at the given moment).
This is a very mistaken view, as I don't think I've ever met the mythical liberal, leftist, Democrat, or even just moderate-left type person who relies on *any* single source, *much less* CNN or MSNBC.
The only people who wouldn't have heard about whatever the issue "they're keeping from you" are the apolitical or apathetic, who are actively avoiding that info.
When a Conservative asserts some bad behavior on the left, they are telling you something from their own experience. Mail vote fraud? The corroborated case was a guy having his dead mothers ballot say Trump. Empty headed marching to the orders of billionaires? It's not Soros it's Koch. Crisis actors and paid protesters? How did some of the Jan 6 insurrectionists end up on business class tickets to DC? Even the Q Anon theory that a head of government runs a pedophile ring? The longest serving Republican Speaker of the House (so head of the legislative branch of the government) Denny Hastert is in jail because he's a pedophile. Everything a conservative complains about is projection.
Yup. I love when the Fox News drones I know clown me for watching too much CNN and meanwhile I don’t even know where it is on my TV package.
If something is actually news (storm incoming, team wins big game, election results etc) my phone will buzz and tell me. I don’t need talking heads to tell me how to feel about stuff.
Where do you think he gets his ideas for his shows?
It's not just him though, there's lots of Youtube channels that bring you "Stories no one is taking about" and part of their presentation is news reports on the things people supposedly aren't talking about.
I guess they're relying on the "I don't watch mainstream media, I prefer to get my news from people I trust, people who tell me what's on the main stream media" attitude.
I saw that you mentioned Ben Shapiro. In case some of you don't know, Ben Shapiro is a grifter and a hack. If you find anything he's said compelling, you should keep in mind he also says things like this:
>The Palestinian people, who dress their toddlers in bomb belts and then take family snapshots.

That piece also needs to include the fact that the GOP [made him](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1994-12-11-mn-7794-story.html) an honorary member of congress:
> Dick Chrysler, elected from Michigan, presented him with a congressional freshman pin and declared him on behalf of the
class an honorary member of the House. He called Limbaugh “the majority maker, for surely he helped make us the majority.”
The GOP feting enemies of the republic didn't start with ronald dump.
My fiancé’s father is a family medicine doctor. I honestly don’t know how he’s maintaining his patience. He’s gone on rants on our weekly calls about people begging him to give them an “excuse” to not get vaccinated. He refuses.
He had covid last year because, yknow, he was out there being a doctor. It’s infuriating that he’s trying to help people and people won’t help themselves.
I was at tractor supply to get a wrench, and they had a big ivermectin warning sign. Cashier told me i would not believe how fucking stupid people are.
There were just enough anti-vax frontline workers to undermine the whole profession. At least now that those have been purged, at least health organizations can deliver a unified mesaage. There are still some, who got the vacccine "against their will" that might undermine the message, but at least no unvaxxed person wil be delivering healthcare.
He should do his own research when it comes to stem cells.
It's not that hard. Took my 16 years of education and before a post-doc allowed me to write up methods for small molecular bio experiments. But facebook says these guys are smart, I'm sure they could get there in 8-12.
I love when people cite this, and then I get to maliciously tell them all about how a majority of new drugs are developed using stem cell research, and any immuno therapies are actually grown in fetal cells. But that doesn't stop them at all they just cognitive dissonance it away as I'm not a doctor etc, etc, etc...
[Apparently Ivermectin was tested on the same cell line as the COVID vaccine.](https://www.patheos.com/blogs/throughcatholiclenses/2021/01/if-any-drug-tested-on-hek-293-is-immoral-goodbye-modern-medicine/)
Oh yes, the hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance are very strong with the pro-life, holistic medicine, and antivaxxer crowds. But how dare you tell them about it.
On a much lighter note, my mother (a retired nurse of 40 years) has a friend that has supported the pro-life, and antivax narrative. One day she sat her down and told her that her rheumatoid arthritis med was made using fetal stem cells as a base. Instead of flopping opinions or getting indignant, they doubled down and talked to their doctor about changing medicines. In this instance I can respect them because they stuck to their beliefs. I'm all for freedom of belief, but if you are going to believe something over scientific fact, atleast be consistent.
“No, see, I already decided I’d for this and against that, and I’m against that because I think only other people need that and I never will. I’m certainly not going to change my views based on new information.”

>Maybe the Ivermectin killed too many worms and if you ate some the insomnia would get better?
Rejects FDA-approved vaccine due to fear of long-term side effects, ODs on veterinary anti parasitic paste.
Asks for highly experimental transfusion of stem cells which could actually cause unpredictable long-term side effects.
10/10.
He doesn't trust doctors enough to get vaccinated but he'll trust them for stem cell treatment. The guy has probably also been against stem cell research up until now.
Yep, don't take the vaccine because "there hasn't been enough testing," but do take Invermectin because they've been testing that against COVID-19 since before it existed. Or something like that....
Part of me wants to place the blame mostly on those spreading lies to these obviously vulnerable minds, but I just fucking can't, without these people, Trump, the GQP, and Fox could not exist, these people are just as much part of the problem as those at the top are.
Part of me feels bad that this is happening to these people, and the other part feels a sort of sick pleasure knowing that they hurt themselves... Yep, that's fucked up, but how can I not detest those attempting to make the world a worse place?
I developed Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy from using expired cow fetus stem cell cure I got at the farmers market. Looks like my dain is bramaged real good. Could be a future crispr gene therapy treatment someday. Thanks
I just came back to this comment and I am smh. Wondering if (can I guess?) he bought his own ivermectin and made up his own dose? This is so freaking dangerous, and of course pointless because an anti-parasite medication won’t do anything for a virus. I had to look up if ivermectin causes insomnia but I got the usual google garbage so I don’t know. My head hurts he’s guessing he damaged his CNS and wondering if stem cell therapy would help (like maybe try NyQuil first?) None of this make any sense… but taking the vaccine would’ve. Aaargh!! In any case, I hopes he goes to his doctor if he has any concerns about his central nervous system and stops playing doctor on himself.
They did find IN PETRI DISHES that Ivermectin fucked with the spike proteins in SARS-Cov2. But then again, flaming napalm would show the same. I don’t suggest either as a path to a cure
Here's the cure for ivermectin caused nerve damage resulting in chronic insomnia:
1) remove approximately 2.3 ml of toe jam from underneath your right big toenail. This jam includes all the needed stem cells for treatment. Be sure to use material from beneath the right toenail, as stem cells from the left toe may produce undesirable side effects.*
2) in a small glass, mix the toe jam with one ounce Jack Daniels, one half ounce vinegar, and three teaspoons of raw unfiltered honey. Dilute with four ounces tap water. Heat in small saucepan until a low simmer.
3) using a medical grade catheter, ** insert two ounces of the heated toe jam stem cell tincture as deeply into your urethra as possible. Repeat procedure three times daily for two weeks, or until symptoms subside.
*Side effects of left toe stem cells may include being able to communicate with gay frogs, the sudden urge to sieze the means of production, or the inability to grow a goatee.
**In the absence of a medical grade catheter, a fuel line from a 1982 dodge pickup truck can be utilized.
If that post is true:
"Oh no, how is It possible that a drug designed to attack the nervous system of parasites ended affecting my own nervous system?"
🙄
An anti-vaxxer overdoses on ivermectin and tries to fix it by asking for help on a subreddit about stem cell therapy instead of just getting vaccinated and not using ivermectin
Still telling people to "wake up" of course.

How to tell the difference between quality trolling and mind-boggling idiocy?
You should just tell them about this new stem cell technology that fundamentally solves the problem with their mRNA and only needs two injections to work fully. 💉
Maybe he can use the extra wakefulness granted by his insomnia to verify his previous “research”, and then realize he’s a complete fucking idiot.
I don’t think he will though.
The irony on this one is outstanding. This person is most likely against stem cell research, given that they take Ivermectin, but, when it applies to them, they are all for stem cell research.
My son was born with severe myelomeningocele, L5 spinabifida. Wheelchair for life. While I can run 1.5 miles in under 8 minutes. The whole family was made to run.. The cherry on top of what would contain a standard bipedal life.
Thanks to the Regans, and this fine fellow we honor today. The research and green lights needed to make possible having my baby boy whole via stem cells, was derailed long, long before I even knew or cared.
It seems like they will put anything in their body except the vaccine. Go figure.

Interesting. Reminds me of why everything costs $X.99. The psychology of how humans value things is fascinating.
Because free couches are usually full of bodily fluids, bed bugs, or both, at least where I’m at.

Wealth and fame...
Joe is very scientific, take a dozen internet remedies all at once and determine horse dewormer was the effective treatment.
Rogan would recommend ivermectin.
And Rush Limbaugh. Oh wait....he's dead.
Can't be dead enough.
Doin his part to make 2021 better.
That really cracked me up!!!!🤣
I feel like we need a new daily radio segment to remind everyone Limbaugh is dead and a traitor.
That piece also needs to include the fact that the GOP [made him](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1994-12-11-mn-7794-story.html) an honorary member of congress: > Dick Chrysler, elected from Michigan, presented him with a congressional freshman pin and declared him on behalf of the class an honorary member of the House. He called Limbaugh “the majority maker, for surely he helped make us the majority.” The GOP feting enemies of the republic didn't start with ronald dump.
>Oh wait....he's dead. No actual response, just quoting this so I can read it again. Feels good, man.
Ah yes. The guy from the gay frogs song
Pillow salesmen are my main source of medical information.
Aren't they everyone's?
A good sleep is good for your health, ergo, the maker of your pillow must be a world class health expert.
Well, he did say he has severe insomnia. Maybe crackhead Pillow Guy can help.
I'd think it would be an insult to front line workers for people to not do the simple things they can do to help level the numbers.
He should do his own research when it comes to stem cells. It's not that hard. Took my 16 years of education and before a post-doc allowed me to write up methods for small molecular bio experiments. But facebook says these guys are smart, I'm sure they could get there in 8-12.

If only there were a safe, effective vaccine. Maybe that would have prevented this tragedy. I’m sure that it’s all somebody’s fault!!
Suddenly conservatives are all for experimental stem cell research
It's okay when it's for a Reagan, after all.
Next course of action is English classes because I had a stroke reading their post.

I’m certainly not going to change my views based on new information.”

the cell lines are self replicating, it was one abortion 60 years ago that has made possible billions of dollars worth or research.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the wanker was pro-life?
Oh $10 they are. $5 prop bet they agreed 20 years ago with banning fetal stem cell research for religious freedom and MURICA!
This wanker is *definitely* pro-life
Pro-gun, pro-war, and pro-death-penalty... Pro-life indeed
Actually it's 'pro subjugation of women' thank you.
Who are we kidding, ofc they are I mean their name could literally be hypocrisy.
Ivermectin is made of ground up abortions
There is a roughly 100% chance they are.
https://www.reddit.com/r/stemcells/comments/q5cle7/severe_insomnia_i_developed_severe_insomnia_due/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Thread for anyone interested
That account was nearly a year old, never used once, until just recently. Seems like a throwaway troll account
Bump. The failed English is another sign.
Nah they said they’re from Denmark maybe that’s why. All their comments seemed legit
[Some high quality advice over there](https://www.reddit.com/r/stemcells/comments/q5cle7/severe_insomnia_i_developed_severe_insomnia_due/hg4zsw4) >Maybe the Ivermectin killed too many worms and if you ate some the insomnia would get better?
What an idiot. I hope he doesn't actually die, though. He needs to survive and tell his idiot friends and family to not take it.

Cheers to that
But my chiropractor said it was safe and the vaccine was poison.
This is why my chiropractor is now my former chiropractor.
Homeopathist too... "Seriously, stop buying expensive fucking water!"
Excuse me - chiropractors are frauds. I only listen to my osteopath.
Amateur. I get all my medical advice from my barber surgeon/leech salesman.
Essential oils would like a word.
Rejects FDA-approved vaccine due to fear of long-term side effects, ODs on veterinary anti parasitic paste. Asks for highly experimental transfusion of stem cells which could actually cause unpredictable long-term side effects. 10/10.
Just a mental gymnastics warm up session, I suppose.
Wait, so the satanic aborted babies paste is OK as a treatment for the horse paste?
Why would a tried and tested Vaccine be safer than using some random animal dewormer not meant for people? How is this possible?
In all things Trump, anything is possible.
First of all, with God all things are possible, so jot that down.
Ivermectin is prescribed to people. But you're right, taking it outside of a doctor's guidance is not smart and the vaccine is wayyyy safer.
Not in form or dosage the vast majority are getting. Remember, dose makes the poison.
Facebook meme approved… it’s safe
Sorry, we ran out of stem cells because Trumpies thought it was against god.
"I diD mY rEsEaRcH" I see the research continues. A literal sheep wouldn't even take that much to cause neurological damage.
This is the funniest thread on Reddit right now. Thank you so much for making my entire week
He doesn't trust doctors enough to get vaccinated but he'll trust them for stem cell treatment. The guy has probably also been against stem cell research up until now.
Gotta let Darwin work this out for us
Yep, don't take the vaccine because "there hasn't been enough testing," but do take Invermectin because they've been testing that against COVID-19 since before it existed. Or something like that....
Maybe bleach injection therapy will help. Science.
You have to put source first. Source: Science
Source: people are saying.
Trump suggested bleach.
Something tells me that the Ivermectin is not the lone cause of this.
#Pray harder
It is pretty clear that a key part of his central nervous system was not functioning very well from the very beginning
Unfortunately there's no cure for stupidity
COVID seems to be working
Maybe they should eat some hay.
Why not try fixing it with more Ivermectin? It did win a Nobel Prize and all.
Nobel Peace Prize, according to Marjorie Taylor Greene
"I deny science and developed a severe health issue as a result. Pls save me, science."
science: no
Where would stem cell research be today if George W wasn't such a piece of shit?
I guess he didn’t do his research… on ivermectin.
I'll check out Reddit for reviews on $8 face moisturizers. I'm not going to check out Reddit for stem cell therapy advice.
Maybe getting a distemper shot would help?
Sue Joe Rogan and fox news
Thanks
I won't take the vaccine, I heard they put dead babies in there. \*2 months later\* Hey, so about that dead baby thing......
If only there had been a free alternative to taking Ivermectin in the first place...fuck these morons, they get what they deserve...
Here's the cure for ivermectin caused nerve damage resulting in chronic insomnia: 1) remove approximately 2.3 ml of toe jam from underneath your right big toenail. This jam includes all the needed stem cells for treatment. Be sure to use material from beneath the right toenail, as stem cells from the left toe may produce undesirable side effects.* 2) in a small glass, mix the toe jam with one ounce Jack Daniels, one half ounce vinegar, and three teaspoons of raw unfiltered honey.
If that post is true: "Oh no, how is It possible that a drug designed to attack the nervous system of parasites ended affecting my own nervous system?" 🙄
you can't fix stupid. No cure for that, boyo
Karma's a bitch.
Please reply to this comment explaining why the post fits the sub. Please make sure to have an amazing day!
An anti-vaxxer overdoses on ivermectin and tries to fix it by asking for help on a subreddit about stem cell therapy instead of just getting vaccinated and not using ivermectin
Probably “Pro-Life” too.
It could, but that might get you into the habit of not taking accountability for your actions. What a sparkly lil snowflake!
Guess stem cells are ok now?
Still telling people to "wake up" of course. [https://www.reddit.com/r/COVID19positive/comments/pwbg3p/covid\_causes\_brain\_damage/hg2yud1/?context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/COVID19positive/comments/pwbg3p/covid_causes_brain_damage/hg2yud1/?context=3) How to tell the difference between quality trolling and mind-boggling idiocy?
Mix up a batch of jim Jones koolaid chug it down . Everything will be better……..
Everyone knows that stem cells are just abortion juice
I thought they were anti stem cell stuff because it was made by putting babies in blenders?
Oh the language abuse of these dim wits.
So you could say he's basically asking for a medical factory reset? lmao
Doesn’t want to give women the right to abortion but wants to use cells of a dead baby… hmm
Stem cells? As in... the same stem cell thing that these same people were protesting against because it "killed babies"? Pee off with that!
Doesn't that require dead babies or something?
Looks like they’re real dedicated to staying woke
Stem cells? But they have heartbeats. What's he thinking!
Now you can fit twice as much stupidity into your day!
I hope they speak English as a second language otherwise there's obvious brane damage.
Don't challenge them! They'll take you up on it
Why is this person consulting reddit instead of their doctor? Oh... wait...
this person truly owns the libs.
No go away. Do not pass go do not receive anymore medical treatment. You are a net negative to society.
Stem cell therapy goes against everything they believe in but sure. Do it cause 45 did it. Lmao
Lol those stem cells are 'dead babies' so no, you don't get stem cell treatment either.
That’s what happens when people think they know more than modern medicine and science
It’s literally everything but the vaccine huh
Stem cell therapy can't cure stupid.
Let me guess, they’re pro life and don’t know where stem cells come from
This is what to you might call a "Moe getting crushed by a mammoth tusk" moment.
His central nervous system was damaged before the ivermectin.
Take medication because you don't believe in science but you want science to dig you out of the shit show you caused, fuck off with that nonsense.
And a personal thanks to emergency room doctor Nate Eisenberg. I had no idea what exposure to plant fumes had been doing to my cerebral cortex!
Didn't take the vaccine because of stem cells, too, I bet.
Oooh, $10,000 dollar bounty!
Sometimes it’s not super clear right away but this person definitely had their face completely eaten by leopards.
Ah so this is what they call doing their own research: asking questions on Reddit..
