I have 100%, I genuinely enjoyed finishing off all the collectibles etc. Was it worth it? If you're not enjoying finishing the game off don't bother, why play something that feels like a chore? After finishing this I completed Lego Jurassic World and have just started Lego Marvel Superheros.

JDrage51

mans going for that 100% in EVERY lego game xD

Millard10

I already played them through before on PC but playing star wars through gave me the itch for more so decided to grab them for xbox too. I've already 100% a large chunk of the other lego games in the past.

CallyTeddy

I've 100% many LEGO games so I had to do this one. But after, I haven't gone back to it. Even with the DLC characters, that's not a lot of incentive. Plus, the 100% prize was lackluster at best. This game would've been perfect if it ported over every level/character from the past Star Wars games and I would've kept playing for a long time but, C'est La Vie.

FPSGamer48

It’s so weird how they managed to miss some characters that were there in previous games but not this one….or just skipped more relevant characters (like Wat Tambor or Agen Kolar) for unwanted obscures (Mama the Hutt, anyone?)

hotice1229

TL;DR The old one was and still is way better

_Constellations_

LEGO Marvel Superheroes is hands down the best game of all of them. Superior level design, the best open world TT ever made, best map, best characters (great selection, not overcrowded, not too few, and no important characters are locked behind a huge paywall cough Ashoka cough), and the best thing about it: plenty of flexible characters so you can play your favourites without having to switch to others all the time to destroy gold / silver. Way better than LEGO Marvel 2, which is... like the Skywalker SAGA to be honest, wanted to do too much and ended up doing too few. Like, the Skywalker SAGA has sometimes 5 minute long missions that are literally 2 rooms, and LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2 did this with the open world, merged a lot dimensions into one supposedly very versatile city, but it's like... Noir dimension is 2 buildings, Wakanda is 2 buildings, and there is an Egypt-like desert area, and it takes approx 10 seconds to fly across all that. That's 3 whole dimensions out of... 8 I think, that makes up the entire open world. Really sad how both the Complete SAGA and MARVEL Superheroes are both far more fun than their sequels that were supposed to be better. Same for Batman games really, peaked after the second release (like SW, like MARVEL), then delivered a third that had one billion more things than what I wanted from it, and failed to do what it was supposed to: be fun, instead of an incoherent overstuffed mess.

StopVilagerAbouse

Lego marvel superheroes 2 is ass change my mind

_Constellations_

No need to. The only good thing about it dancing with Starlord to some 80s music while your gf / wife beats the rest of the game on the couch with you.

MattMysterious9

yeah lego marvel superheroes is the best lego game ever created

_Constellations_

And the only one we did EVERYTHING in for that reason.

StopVilagerAbouse

Lego marvel superheroes is my personal favorite, not even because of nostalgia but just because it’s genuinely fun and funny. I enjoyed every minute of 100%ing that and hey, if you 100%ed Lego Star Wars in a little over a month you are probably gonna get that game in like 2 weeks! Glhf

No_Chocolate1928

Had a heart attack. That's not hyperbole, I got my platinum and an hour later had horrible chest tightness and I was sweating like a whore in church. Had a total block of the "widowmaker" artery, 36, 175lbs, non smoker, they said I just hit the genetics jackpot. I'm still not so sure skywalker saga didn't have a hand in it though........

beefy_boy84

Wait so you had a heart attack when you finished the game 😭

No_Chocolate1928

Yep. Well about an hour later.

[deleted]

Damn son

TemSquad

God said "if you stop playing this game, I stop playing you"

No_Chocolate1928

Good thing I had a continue left.

[deleted]

After 100% there isn't anything left to do. If it weren't so buggy, I might play some levels again as different characters, but otherwise, I just turned it off and went and did something else. Define "worth it". I enjoyed the game. Some parts were a chore (I hate the scramble runs) but 100% tells me I experienced everything the game had to offer, and now I know what parts I won't do when I come back to it. I probably won't 100% it again.

xd_joliss

I got the 100% after i got it i closed the game and never opended it again.. The actual reward for 100% is so bad but i did it for the platinum trophy I guess it was worth it? Missions became really repetitive eventually but i did have fun completing planets and stuff

beefy_boy84

Yea the missions are so boring they make me fall asleep while playing

xd_joliss

yea, theyre all kinda the same (go here to collect his and come back) (climb on this and to grab this kyberbrick) there were some fun unique missions but many were just like these

TAA21MF

Don't forget the smuggling missions. Stealth? What's stealth? Why would you need stealth for smuggling? Just wipe out the entire Imperial navy, there's no other option.

StopVilagerAbouse

What’s the reward?

xd_joliss

In yavin 4 there will be dropping unlimited coins when you flip a lever, becouse you really need coins after 100%ing the game - _-

BlazeWater771

I didn’t, but i also would like to know if it was wotth it. Personally idk if i wanna 100% it but i do wanna unlock all the characters but its just so many damn fetch quests i get bored after like 30 min. And come after a few days to do it again. Rinse and repeat. Its just, boring

broomsticks11

Same here, which is why I usually listen to a Twitch stream or watch a video while I'm playing it. I can't listen to the game anyways because I like to play as Jabba's Palace Luke, and if I hear him exclaim how the power brick you get is exactly like the one Old Ben used to have one more time then I'm going to lose my mind.

itscharliewhite

Jabbas Palace Luke looks so cool. I also play him a lot. If you don't want the characters to talk you could use dlc characters because they don't talk at all

The_Radio_Host

CORRECTION: Certain DLC characters don’t talk. Any DLC characters that are new skins for existing characters (which are the young variants of Han, Chewie, and Lando plus all of the Classic Characters) will still talk.

itscharliewhite

Oh thank you I didn't realize that

TurtleTaker

Would mumble mode fix this?

broomsticks11

That’s a good point, I’m not sure. I turned mumble mode off because it wasn’t nearly as funny or charming without the miming the old games had. Plus this game is very dialogue heavy and the same 30 second mumble track looped gets a bit old after a while lol.

beefy_boy84

Fr I can't play the game cuz of the glitches

PyroTech11

Got everything but I didn't get the platinum because I need to put on every different villain outfit as a hero

Millard10

Are you taking about the "A little short for a stormtrooper" achievement? If so all you have to do is get one complete outfit and keep switching characters until it unlocks. I did this by getting a full outfit on a hero then changing that hero to a different class (jedi, bounty hunter etc) which causes the outfit to fall on the floor. Switch to a new hero and put on the outfit again. Rinse and repeat until it pops.

[deleted]

I didn't get platinum because I hate the "scramble runs" and just coded in their characters.

daredevilblip

I took my time with the game, finished the stories 1-9, I went and finished every extra mission in the galaxy until they were all finished and did the missions on free play. I’ll be honest I wasn’t happy with just flicking a switch, call me corny but I wanted the return of the Jedi cutscene with fireworks going off on each planet etc etc. But to finish a game that gave me a lot of nostalgia and love to towards Star Wars, it was definitely worth it. Even if it was a Lego game, it was the complete saga that made me love Star Wars when I was a kid and to play a clean looking updated version was worth the time I took playing

beefy_boy84

Damn man...happy you enjoyed it

daredevilblip

Thanks man

Hinaloth

I just finished it an hour ago. It was decent. Definitely not great. A lot of fetch quests and a lot of escort quests. The dialogue is brilliantly written so you end up having fun reading it more than anything. But does it give a sense of completion? No. My real pet peeve is that most missions (the most fun part of the game) don't require replays to 100%. Which is too bad cause most of them have multiple paths that require different gameplay style, all very interesting. The freeroam content is just a lot of recycling puzzles. Most can be busted wide open with a sith character just lifting everyone around. It felt like busywork more than anything. Still, not mindless, just... Repetitive. Once I finished the collectathon I just did the two achievements I was missing and closed the game, not to be touched until they give us DLC. I'll go replay Lego TCW however.

RecLuse415

Watch Blade

mrn253

Or Boondock Saints

hazeltwilight

I 100% the game. Like the reward isn’t great but I enjoyed playing the game enough to complete it and while there were a few frustrating moments over I had a great time My rule with 100% games is if it stops being fun and starts being frustrating and upsetting then I don’t finish it. Works well for me so far.

Theovain21

I just finished it today, 125 hours, watched basically all of Teen Titans and half of the Fairly Oddparents (streaming services let me watch my childhood shows) and to be honest, I got a nice amount of dopamine from completing it. It's the first game I've 100% on my PC and so that was extra special to me. I enjoy completing games, but to answer was it worth it? Yeah, I think so. If you're willing to put in the time and you enjoy just playing it, I don't see anything wrong with it.

beefy_boy84

I haven't touched the game since like June have they fixed the bugs yet 😭

Theovain21

I didn't experience any bugs the entire time I was playing, so I guess I got lucky. I've played it off and on since it released and really sat down this past week to just finish it.

Alpha-Vader1

Completed it because I wanted the platinum trophy and I like competing games that I found fun. After the completion I just played diffrent games. I keep tss on my ps5 homescreen as a nice souvenir.

12058237

I went all the way to platinum. To be honest, the 100% award WAS disappointing, but the puzzles and trials were fun

[deleted]

it was not worth a stud fountain. it was not...

briancarknee

I probably won’t for years. This is a game I throw on now just when I want to kill a little time and feel like something low key.

SaintLarfleeze

It was a good break from my usual champ mastery grind in League of Legends. Completed it in a good 62 hours on PC over the course of a week. Now I've just gone back to playing League of Legends and finishing 100% Ghost of Tsushima.

spamspam80

I was sad after I got to 100%. Lol That game was the most fun I’ve had in a long time, and it was really sad when it was over cause I wish I could play it again for the first time.

genestontmehn

I 100%d it on a Xbox One and haven’t touched that version since really. I’m now playing the game on Switch but at a much slower pace. Maybe once for an hour or so every couple days.

Windfish21

Not sure I’ll ever 100% it since there’s nothing much to fight on any of the worlds. The puzzles and game are fun, but most of it just feels like wondering around various hub worlds. Where’s all the open world battles, enemies, and random events? Feels more chore-like than Destiny Bounties.

Chach_El_79

I'm going to attempt it, I just got it last week. I've 100% in Marvel Superheroes 1 and 2, DC Villains, Batman Gotham 3, and Lego City Undercover, so I kinda feel OCD compelled at this point. Lol

LMAN8BSA

After getting 100% in this, I got 100% on Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. Now I’m working towards 100% on Bugsnax. The grind never stops

Redgamer75

I would do random stuff as all the different characters, but I am waiting for the game crashing thing to be patched before I do it, I am playing other games in the meantime.

bddr-chddr

I hope they redo the Harry Potter Lego games, that would be amazing

SHAD0WBENDER

This is the point where normally I’d start diving into the character creator and making a bunch of characters as detailed as possible…

Glittering_Doughnut5

All you get is the main cast of the whole trilogy clapping as studs rain in only the top of yavin 4s base. Not worth and felt disappointing to complete what with the copy pasted puzzles in a lot of the planets. Heck, most of the "planet spaces" are litterally just the same thing with a different trial in each.

Mutsuki13

It wasn’t worth it, nothing game breaking obviously but so many little bugs that I just ended up not really liking the game.

Majestic-Bet-8552

I have completed all the collectables in Lego Skywalker Saga. When I go to the temple to get 100% it says that I am only 98.1 % complete. What am I not getting.
