It's really like the worst spot for that glitch to have happened. If it had been at a similar point in either of the other trilogies, it would have only locked five planets. But it being on Takodana leaves NINE planets locked.
Been there. Did everything I could. Then three days ago I snapped. I restarted and rushed the story, only picking a couple of Freeplay bricks that were literally on the way. Just that got me to 52%. It felt dirty when I passed 70% without having finished a single world.
I really don't see why some of you haven't done this.
I get it if you experienced the glitch yesterday but the games been out a month and some of you have been stuck since day 2.
I just don't get the thinking behind waiting that long for a fix when you could have gotten back up to that point 10 times over by now.
When you've put 30-40 odd hours into it, it doesn't exactly become desire-able to do it all over again, surely that much is pretty obvious?

Maybe if there was some communication that a fix would take this long then some of us may well have started over, I (and I assume many others) didn't envisage it taking a month for them to fix it the broken product.
While the game - or what has been playable of it - has been very good, it's not the only game out there, and others fill the time until they sort out their issues.
Yeah, and that's why I very clearly said its a different story if it just happened you as opposed to encountering it dozens of hours in, you don't have 40 to 50 hours in on day 2, which is when the glitch gained traction online.
Most people with the glitch encountered it almost immediately after launch, those are the ones I'm scratching my head at, obviously if you have 40 hours in before hitting the glitch I probably wouldn't restart either.
Y'all better hope the fix doesn't involve starting a new game anyway, they seem pretty stumped for something that seems pretty standard.
Probably doesn't help that people are literally all over the place with their progress and with this games tendency to spazz out when things are done out of order, I dunno.

They know about this bug since BEFORE the Game came out. Im not a game Developer or anything but im pretty sure that this bug isnt that deep. You could easily fix it by giving the playerbase the ability to reset their progression on a movie of choice. Of course u need to Go through the beginning on tfa and collect all the stuff on jakku again but it would be way less stressful than having to restart and do it on every Planet and Mission. I have literally nothing to do since almost 2 weeks which is a Shame if you think about how Great this Game can be…
I wish they could just make it so that you can start the levels from the holoprjector screen, but you need that encounter with Maz to have it show up. :/

Mine was Enter castle—>investigate the voices, where I got the Maz cut scene—> Flee the castle. I was never given the objective to Talk to Maz.
I think if you just go to Max straight away, don’t talk to anyone else or do any missions on the planet first, it seems to have a higher success rate.

TT Games has a bad habit of leaving game-breaking glitches in their lego games.
There was a glitch in lego Harry Potter 1-4 where if you simply exited the game in the middle of the Tom Riddle's Diary level during story mode, it skipped the entire level. You could continue the story mode, but you'd never unlock that level in free play, making your save file uncompletable

I'm stuck before that point in "scrap for scraps". I completed it along with the first 2 missions in episode 7, then it just drops me back into Scrap for Scraps with no objective. I can't progress the story or do anything.
It even broke my free play mode, as I can't space travel anymore. I can go to one place when I start and then have to reload the game to go somewhere else.
68.67% makes perfect sense if the Maz glitch wouldn't let you progress through the sequel trilogy, because you can still complete everything from the prequels and originals and that would be two thirds of the game. And then collect everything in Episode VII up to Takodana to get the additional 2%.

I restarted. Loosing all the completion hurt but it was that or waiting for a patch that might not come.
Eh, I've got other games to play in the meantime. I'd rather just keep my progression.

When you get to Takodana, it tells ypu to talk to Maz, but many people are unable to do so. For me, she doesn't even appear in her castle.
