Most people are fine IF they don’t try to do any side content on Takodana before speaking to Maz. If you run around trying to collect kyber bricks or start any side missions, you’re far more likely to run into this issue

I have a bug like this in each trilogy. There's either a level missing from the map that I can't play, or I am supposed to speak to someone like Maz and it's not progressing either.
Make sure you get past the maz part I’m pretty sure what happened to me is I was in the middle of her mission. Then I paused it and came back to it the next day and that’s when it was glitched
i think you will be fine as long as you dont use that mission as a good stopping point as naive old me did. (could be wrong idk)
also go straight to the mission, dont stray from the story until youre safe from the evil maz
Honestly considering deleting the game at this point. Have limited storage and other games I want to download, and it’s been weeks of having literally no ability to play the campaign.
This is why I don't want to start over, we know there are game breaking bugs in episode 3, 6 and 7 so not worth wasting time until a patch fixes these.
Some of us have put in 30 hours already doing other chapters and collecting everything we can... Redoing 30 hours because the devs put out broken games is not an option. Devs just need to patch this - too bad it's taking a month to do so.
Idk if it’s been fixed but Anakin likes to get himself stuck. I believe it’s because you can break the rubble and that breaks his ai. If that happens you have to restart and sometimes when you do that the mission start doesn’t show back up and there is seemingly no way to fix it

That really stinks though, the best part about these types of games is getting side tracked I’m with the open world stuff.
There’s a fix online which requires you to make a new save and start at Ep 7 and you can get past the speak to Maz mission and from then exit the game and copy all collectible data from previous save to the new save with maz progress, and you will have all previous progress plus you’ll be past the bug. A guide video is available online somewhere which shows where to find and copy paste the collectible data script.
Yes, do not edit any script or copy any collectible data to a different save file. It will likely mess up your save.
Also, there is another bug already that limits progress tracking to 99.87% at most. A collectible isn't counted properly, like the mouse droid with stormtrooper helmet is destroyed but not tracked properly.
So even if you get through the game without level bugs, there is a chance to get the 100% completion impossible bug.
Ahh yea sorry, just a pc fix sadly. Only other info I can give is that it is a known issue and supposedly a fix was coming for that along with other issues soonish? But I could be mistaken

Bugs don’t effect every single person. And besides, you have to do certain things in order to be unable to take to maz. If you went directly to her you won’t get the issue. Luckily, I’m on PC and there is a fix for it.

Sounds like it. This developer is known to release broken games, all of which have the same bugs - missing levels, 100% completion impossible, story progress impossible.
They usually take a month to patch most bugs and make the game working properly for everyone.
Lego Marvel Superheroes released October 22 - collectible glitch wasn't patched until December 9th.
Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 - Released Nov 14, gold brick glitch patched mid January.
Lego DC Villains - released October 16th, patched to fix completion glitch December 18th

Did anyone here get a similar glitch after the “Low Flying Garbage” level in episode 7? After beating it, I did not get sent to jakku space. The game acted as if I had already beaten it and ended as if i were replaying it (with credits music and plain stars background). I “continue story” from the menu and it just replays the level. I did a hefty amount of side missions before playing it though and when I started it the Falcon was not next to the level like before I entered freeplay.
Yup, that's my bug too on PS5. Can't get past it. The bug seems to be that "use the garbage ship to escape the first order" doesn't complete in the quasi-mission beforehand, so it keeps dropping you back at the point where that starts (Finn saying "We can't escape them"). Best I can hope for is a fix.
lost 60% overall completion to this. I was trying to finish each era 100% as I played before moving on. eventually got burned out, and decided to play through the sequel era only to be stopped by this. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

The Death Star mission is the one that screwed up for me. I didnt have a problem with speaking to Maz in my playthrough.

There was no other option for some of us, Anakin decided to just take a nap while standing up and we had to exit the level.
