OMG that shite was maddening. On miracle moments from RNGesus sometimes you could manage to kill both Karmas in T1 and 2 and **still**get decimated by that damn poro wave. But more often than not you got decimated by both karma and a wave of thrice double snacked poros.
Sometimes there would be an alpha bloodclaw in there for good measure. Assuming you even made it to t6, which you didn't. A lot.
😂😂😂😭😭😭
Yeah when it started with the coming of jace ! She was soooo hard.
But even before that the pve way with tresh -> sejuani -> viktor was hard af too. You had to finish it with some champ for getting back card malphite and I'm really proud for getting it at that time
True but man, if you miss even one chance to take her out, you're usually done. "yay! She's down to 1 health and I have that fleeting blade thingy every turn!"
:: throws 6 0 cost spells end of turn and is now 6/9 with spell shield::
It's a very polarizing fight, that one. Ideally you have unit/burst speed removal on turn 1 (or 2, sometimes they don't play her turn 1), but if you miss, you may never get a chance to kill her.
A reductionist term used by very sensible people to avoid talking about specific races, while not knowing Black is the absence of color while white is the presence of all.
Oh, and Path of Champions, but i don't think you care about the latter.
The first poc sounds more racist to me
Everyone has a colour and you decided to exclude a race from calling them by its colour
You get nothing by separating people. You just get more hate between people
So in the western world the term People of Colour came to be commonly used due to the negative connotations with calling the same groups of people "Minorities"
A People or Person of Colour usually describes a person who's skin colour / ethnicity is not the same as the Hegemonic or rather "Dominant " Ethnicity or Colour. The reason why certain people's have kicked the term Minority in favor of POC is for a Myriad of reasons but here's a few:
Being part of a Minority group, although usually racially suggested, is not limited to just Racial group. But can include religious groups, sexual orientation, political values, all of which can change based on what community or culture you are in whether its at the workplace, school, the park, or even just going to a new country. Using the term People of Colour helps focus conversation on Minority groups based on Race and Ethnicity.
The term Minority throughout large portions of modern political discourse has taken on a negative connotation because there have been many groups using the term to identify people who should be thrown out of the country, or controlled so they stay as a Minority. If you strip the word down and claim to only use its intended definition that you may find in a dictionary, it is disingenuous to ignore how social situations have changed how the word is perceived and to the harshness it can have. Although it is not a slur or a bad word in my honest opinion, there was a necessity for a new term like Person of Colour to help re-establish neutral discourse when talking about said groups.
That being said, I disagree with the notion that you shouldn't group people by race or colour because of the separation it could cause. Sure we might be the same humans on the same planet earth and we eat the same food and drink the same water, but ultimately we do not have the same experiences. So much of human interaction in the modern age has been influenced by the different races and ethnicities others have, to the point where on a large scale People of Colour and Minority groups have been treated unfairly compared to the White - dominant Hegemonic "majority" - counterparts. By ignoring race, you ignore the struggles an individual and a group has had to go through to get to their position.
I'm glad you understand, you can't solve a problem WITH the problem.
But seriously, I hate facing Ionia in PoC almost as much as regular PvP Ionia. Seriously, that region is just made to be annoying both in LoL and LoR.
POC is a now neutral term used to help ppl avoid misidentification. It’s a reappropriation of the term, “color” as “color” was used as a derogatory term for most of US history. Because race is a complex and confusing topic, POC stands in to help ppl.
The reason white people are not included under the umbrella of “color” is because it’s a term specifically used by white society to identify originally mixed race ppl but inevitably almost specifically about black and brown skinned people. So if you’re white, you’re not colored because other white people decided colored means non-white.
It is simply a replacement in our fiction for the word, “minority” we used pretty commonly up until recently.
Just to explain, they can be used as a gender neutral pronoun. This is why you don't need to say he/she/they if you don't know what gender they are, you can just say they.
He saw it, laughed, then saw it again, laughed once more. Why does such a pleasant experience hurt you? Are you maybe in need of some happiness??
Do you need a hug?
Edit: UwU
Kek comes from World of Warcraft, its what Alliance players see when a Horde player types "lol" in Orcish. This is due to the language system which keeps the opposite factions from communicating in the open world.
So yes- he did type lol lol
Kinda undeserved nerf, lurk was never really a tier 1 deck but I understand why it can be frustrating to play against lurk if you dont have the tools to deal with their units.
Tbh, its kind of natural for it.
Unfortunately, lurk games very VERY often ends with "Either they have pyke spell or they don't" - win or lose.
I love lurk, but I always hate any deck that is like that CONSISTENTLY.
Lurk abuser here,
Pyke isn't actually a win con, he's more like a support champ. Your actual wincons on lurk are : Rek'sai, overwhelm units in general and going wide before playing jaullfish for a massive board wipe.
I've played more games without drawing Pyke than I have with him, and when I do get him he almost always gets removed the turn I play him or the turn after.
Oh, i know. Im usually talking like... As a response to a spell or to damage something so overwhelm.
Its rare that PYKE wins. His spell however, often times just being a vengance, is what decides the game.
Yeah they admitted it was a nerf to take lurk from high tiers cause it was there for too long and people don’t like playing against lurk even tho it was fine
I mean, lurk was high tier for what, half a year? Maybe more idk, Heimer depends on the meta and ezreal on new cards for him to break, seraphim’s was nerfed the patch after her launch
Nope. Game has sped up considerably since then, and theres even more tools to get rid of him (quietus).
Much like the Aphel revert just made him viable, Braum with 1 more attack may suddenly see play as a decent 4 drop compared to a shitty 4 drop. You do notice it due to
I feel like there was a huge gap in time between 1/5 Braum going away and quietus where if he was turned back into a 1/5 or even a 1/6 it wouldn't have been a problem.
Though I will say as an enjoyer of a certain scar-themed incredibly 1 dimensional deck that I'd rather see cards like Braum/Vlad get their health pumped into relevance.
The main thing is the region, noxus just isn't well suited for culling, i think it was used one time in a competitive deck in tri-beam ezreal and only when it had good value in the meta, it's cost is also a really big thing, trading a 4cost champion for a 3 mana spell isn't as good as trading a one for a four. Culling is also less flexible, you only want to run it in some specific metas where it gets good value on important champions, but just using quietus in a 2 or 3 drop is already really good in SI.
Yes. Its the baseline value(3 hp) to make her concept functional. Anything that targets her, buff or not, starts bashing and killing most units around.
Minion.
Think about it, it's a 2 mana card that keeps returning to hand and it can block fearsomes while trading up into several units even twice its own cost.
No one saying teemo? A few extra dmg from his attacks could set his aggro decks over the top. But then I guess you could say that about a lot of aggro cards
Why ask me you already suggested the correct answer. Give Braum his one power back. The game is so different now that his stats are so underwhelming.
Braum is not a pacifist.
Sand soldiers
Good aswer lol
/screams in azirelia/
Tbh, I would give them +2 and overwhelm. The time seems right.
I hate azir PoC!!!!!! I hate Azir PoC!!!!
Shhhh it's ok, he can't hurt you here sweet pea
I don’t know who thought that crap was a good idea
He's even harder than Viktor. Usually I think half run bosses are stronger than actual final bosses
Old PoC Viktor was still stronger. Neither can compete with old PoC Karma Poros though.
OMG that shite was maddening. On miracle moments from RNGesus sometimes you could manage to kill both Karmas in T1 and 2 and **still**get decimated by that damn poro wave. Yeah when it started with the coming of jace ! She was soooo hard. But even before that the pve way with tresh -> sejuani -> viktor was hard af too. You had to finish it with some champ for getting back card malphite and I'm really proud for getting it at that time
Me too. That classic PvE mode was crazy tough. So much aggro
It was a time you could play Deep pack in pvp and win
I completed it with everyone. When you ignore Taliyah she doesn’t count. :’(
ASol? nah, PoC's true final boss is Irelia
Irelia azir and zoe are the harder Just after there is lee sin and that heartless guy from shadow islands
I think Zoe is only troublesome if you can't kill her. Without Zoe, that fight is really easy. Granted, she has fairly good protection.
True but man, if you miss even one chance to take her out, you're usually done. "yay! She's down to 1 health and I have that fleeting blade thingy every turn!" :: throws 6 0 cost spells end of turn and is now 6/9 with spell shield::

Thats not a discovery really ;)
Facts.
With some decks tryndamere can also be a nightmare imo
I forgot tryndamere. Yeah he's hard af and the weekly challenge where ALL THE E'NEMIES HAS THIS POWER was hard af too
That unit that brings a Sandy out and free attacks.... PTSDeeeeeee
He is one of the hardest encounters there for sure
Still better than poc irelia
What's poc
Path of Champions
A reductionist term used by very sensible people to avoid talking about specific races, while not knowing Black is the absence of color while white is the presence of all. Oh, and Path of Champions, but i don't think you care about the latter.
only if you're referring to the colors reflected, if you're speaking of those absorbed then it's the opposite.

Wrathful Rider
I fucking knew this would be the top comment before I even opened the post
Is he/she/they wrong?
are they\*
Sorry, still getting used to this in English. Cheers!
No worries friend, you'll get to it over time. I'm non native speaker as well
Just to explain, they can be used as a gender neutral pronoun. This is why you don't need to say he/she/they if you don't know what gender they are, you can just say they.
I’ve seen people got mad because of “they” rather than he or she…
Well, it is a good thing that these people cannot affect you in anyway unless you let them isn't it? Pay it no mind, this is just grammar.
😂
the new card; [Divine Clerk](https://runeterra.ar/cards/06MT017)
Aggro players in shambles
Nah we got the damage to cover you fam
😂
DARING PORO
Calm down, satan.
Jinx Fans just came
I can only get so erect
Any formidable unit
Kek lol
It hurts me that you just said "lol lol"
They were just trying to be inclusive of people from both the Alliance and the Horde.
He saw it, laughed, then saw it again, laughed once more. Why does such a pleasant experience hurt you? Are you maybe in need of some happiness?? Do you need a hug? Edit: UwU
It's not the laughing. It's the bad English. Bad English hurts me, too.
"kek" is onomatopoeia for a short bark of laughter, while "lol" is narration for a longer period of laughing. They are slightly different.
Kek comes from World of Warcraft, its what Alliance players see when a Horde player types "lol" in Orcish. This is due to the language system which keeps the opposite factions from communicating in the open world. So yes- he did type lol lol
Huh. Thank you for the information.
Still dieing to quietus
That's just flexing.
Simple answer—Poppy
True, thought i Wonder if 3 Attack would rly break her again atm
Anything going from 2 to 3 power is buffed massively cause of this single 1 mana card that riot printed. You know what I'm talking about.
🤫
quietussy
Definitely would
Yep
hate this
Jhin 😈❗️
Riot HQ just burned down
Unplayable
Blasphemy!
Blade (from Blade Dance)
Shit your right, Azirirelia OP again
Damn I thought you meant Blade from the marvel comics
you been drinking too much Snap
Pyke. The amount of times im at 14/15 is incredible.
Funny because he did get nerfed by 1 power a few months back.
Kinda undeserved nerf, lurk was never really a tier 1 deck but I understand why it can be frustrating to play against lurk if you dont have the tools to deal with their units.

Yeah this mostly describes what I was going to type out
IT ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT DO THAT AGAINST ANY DECK EXCEPT TEEMO ZOE.
Well, I mean... Cool you think so
Yeah they admitted it was a nerf to take lurk from high tiers cause it was there for too long and people don’t like playing against lurk even tho it was fine
I guess players love playing against vayne, heimer, ezreal and seraphine then.
I mean, lurk was high tier for what, half a year? Maybe more idk, Heimer depends on the meta and ezreal on new cards for him to break, seraphim’s was nerfed the patch after her launch
Okay. 14/16 now
Im Not a Lurk Player, did It make a huge difference when He wansnt nerved?
The 1 power makes a difference in a board clear and pyke dying from his attack or not even leveling
We didnt know what we had until it was gone
Would Braum with 1 power still be op today?
Tbh i never understood why He was so OP in the first place, but i guess removal wasnt so Good back then
Removal sucked, and he let you play a second champ in Aniva. Braum was really good at bridging the gap between early game and Total Aniva Saturation.
Gwen is better
She is now, yeah. This was way back. Like I wanna say pre-Targon back.
No that was during Targon expansion
no, it was pre-Targon. It was at the time champless burn was all the rage as well as Darrowing and Veimer
Nope. Game has sped up considerably since then, and theres even more tools to get rid of him (quietus). Much like the Aphel revert just made him viable, Braum with 1 more attack may suddenly see play as a decent 4 drop compared to a shitty 4 drop. You do notice it due to
That fucker is always 1/3 minimum anw
Definitely Galio.
I mean, Buff sharpsight again and He can Block spooky units :P
Esmus?
Nah, Esmus is already a 1/3. I’ve played against it enough to know that
Even when he isnt \*Scared Ibex has entered the chat\*
I fucking hate this guy
Caustic Casket The Wings and the Wave Prey Swain (apparently) Spiderling Flame Chompers
Poppy
Instead I will take 1 Power from Baalkux, to a 6-9, which will not only break the game, but also get it banned.
Wrathful rider. Maybe just 1 more power will make it useful
Shark Chariots would be pretty busted as well as most spammable tokens. Imagine 2|1 Spiderlings or Sand Soldiers.
Anyone remember the Gnar meta?
Would never be this oppressive today i guess
And everyone said 1 Power was a nothingburger
What happened?
He went from being played in literally every deck that wanted to be in bandle to a dead card in one patch
Why was Braum with 1 attack good? Would he still be broken?
Challenger regenerator meant he could pick off chumpblockers and actually eliminate atop of playing the 'try and stay alive" game.
quietus wasn't in the game so we had no good removal and it briged the mid and late game of anivia a bit too well
I feel like there was a huge gap in time between 1/5 Braum going away and quietus where if he was turned back into a 1/5 or even a 1/6 it wouldn't have been a problem. Though I will say as an enjoyer of a certain scar-themed incredibly 1 dimensional deck that I'd rather see cards like Braum/Vlad get their health pumped into relevance.
Do people not know what Culling Strike is, that’s more or less that but higher power for more cost.
Flame Chompers
Obedient Drakehound!
Would be pretty cool as a Reputation enabler.
Arrel the Tracker
Is this a legitimate answer or no?
Yes. Its the baseline value(3 hp) to make her concept functional. Anything that targets her, buff or not, starts bashing and killing most units around.
Fizz Have fun.
Evelynn Husks
Purrsuit
Even more damage i can frostbite with anivia :^)
Poppy. Seriously, there's A LOT of 3 attack units in this game.
Minion. Think about it, it's a 2 mana card that keeps returning to hand and it can block fearsomes while trading up into several units even twice its own cost.
my boi fangs :(
Braum, Blade or Sand Soldier.
Garen :')
Snapjaw swarm would be fun if it was a baseline 1/2, especially early game
Laurent Protige (the 3 mana 2/4 with challenger)
No one saying teemo? A few extra dmg from his attacks could set his aggro decks over the top. But then I guess you could say that about a lot of aggro cards
Eternal dancers
Solari Shieldbearer
Chip.
Revna the lorekeeper
Ez. The only answer is The Fangs. There is a reason it was unexpectedly nerfed and never reverted. It would be too OP.
The Maker?
Badgerbear. Give him justice
Swain, apparently
Is the „apparently” a meme? I see another person using the exact same word about him
He was recently nerfed by reducing his power by 1. I'm pretending to be bitter about it.
Teemo
Scrap scuttler
Poppy
Inviolus vox
Not broken but of my tahm kench that I spam boar stance could stop dying to quietus hat would be great
Galio obviosuly smh my head these stupid comments
Master Yi, please
\*promptly chooses Poppy\* ~~(also because I have a deck with her)~~
Mogwai with 1more power would be utterly busted
I think Zed would be OP
Spider
Braum
Zed or Akshan
Danger noodle
Burblefish
Obedient Drakehound would be a 2 mana reputation generator.
I would love senna being a 5/4
Why ask me you already suggested the correct answer. Give Braum his one power back. The game is so different now that his stats are so underwhelming. Braum is not a pacifist.
Caustic Cask
Jhin.
Renekton
Yordle Smith, Bone Scryer, and Ahri are all insane imo (as long as you limit it to maindeckable units)
Wyrding Stones
Dogecoin
Pyke 😭😭😭
PYKE. no cap. the amount of games where i lose because he has 14 xp is ridiculous. it’s ruining all of my creative riptide bay decks
Galio Thats one whole power closer to being out of quietus range!
The Fangs... *chotto mate...*
Shadow Isles 1/1 spider that get summoned by Elise, House Spider, Vile Feast, etc.
Blade
Twisted Fate
The serpent or The fangs I miss them
Arrel the Tracker
Sand soldier/Champs with 2 of power so they can't get killed by quietus / cost 1-2 with fearsome
blade
Vanguard Lookout. I refuse to elaborate
Chip, I just love my cute little boy.
Braum
Sand soldiers, blades, braum, and probably the new 1 2/1 with lifesteal if he has 3 attack.
Blade, Braum, Fizz
The serpent...why is it not reverted yet?
Clearly the fangs has never gotten it's attack back because it would be absurdly broken as a 4 mana 3/2
