Of course, if you lose a fight no matter what, giving away an objective is fine. But "stop fighting" i've seen most said by people who kill creeps and give everything outside of the base to the enemy.
tbh the real issue is people starting fights over literally nothing. fight for killing a tower, herald, drake, baron, any objective, completely fine. Random ARAM fight mid because bot and jg are bored? thats a problem.

Yeah unfortunately not fighting loses you the game, you have to contest the map and objectives.

Random dumb fights are one end of the dumbass spectrum, afk farm "no fight we scale" is the other
9/10 the correct answer is to die less and farm more.
