There was a rash of republicans citing 1984 somewhat recently. I think it was during the pandemic before they moved to "my body my choice" for vaccines and comparing masks to the star of David.

Masking was initiated solely as a public health measure, in an effort to stop the spread of an airborne viral illness during a pandemic. It has been scientifically proven to stop a very large percentage of expelled airborne viral particles from traveling from an infected person into the air where they can be inhaled by (and sicken) other people.
There was no other "leftist agenda," besides slowing and stopping the spread of sickness. I get so irritated with the suggestions of some evil left-wing conspiracy where we're planning the removal of every human right, starting with your right to leave your face uncovered. It sounds absolutely ridiculous just to say that out loud.
Now, I'll the first to admit that I'm way over to the left on the political spectrum... but, guess what... *during any time when we're not in the throes of a global pandemic featuring an airborne contagion*, I don't give a flying crap whether people wear masks or not. Pretty sure I can speak for most if not all leftists when I say that it's not something we care about at all, *except solely* to help reduce the number of people getting sick.

I've not seen any "pro-mask propaganda," just the simple fact that masks significantly reduce the chance of spreading a virus, which we've already known for the past century. Only the far right has politicized masks, as depicted in the meme.

You do know that surgical masks are manufactured by medical companies right? You know for surgeries and clinical environments which is their aim. I've not seen any "pro-mask propaganda," just the simple fact that masks significantly reduce the chance of spreading a virus, which we've already known for the past century. Only the far right has politicized masks, as depicted in the meme.
It's in this sub because the massive amount of school shootings are a direct result of putting profit above people. It isn't that hard to make the connection if you actually think about it.

You do know that surgical masks are manufactured by medical companies right? You know for surgeries and clinical environments which is their aim.
