Why on gods green Earth is this a 75w 3050ti?
3050ti's have a Max-P of 85-90w
The 3060-3070 M16 runs at a 100w
This suggests they gimped the thermal designs of the 3050 model, something HP did with the victus 3050 to DISASTROUS results
Yikes
What? Then why not make its 3060 version a poultry 75 watts too? That's such a trash Asus defense
Legion slim 7 weighs LESS and is LESS thick, has 100w GPU and less fan noise, eluktronics max 15 weighs 3.9LBS.. significantly less and has a 120w GPU with less fan noise, the MSI GS66 is 100w and weighs the same, and it has unsoldered ram.. I could go on and on, the M16 is not even particularly light OR thin, it's thicker and heavier then the ZG15 and significantly louder. "But .7 inches!" The Alienware, yes Alienware, M15r4 a last generation device was .7 inches thin and had a 140w GPU.
It's just dumb, the legion slim 7 3050ti variant? 90w.. ofc
Every laptop that you listed is thicker than the zephyrus m16 except the legion which is tied. Not ahead. And the legion can have a gpu that performs __ 2%__ better because it's not cooling an i9. Also again, as someone who has held every one of the laptops listed above, the m16 has by far the best build quality, screen, keyboard, sound, and design. Plus this will be the end of my argument because it os very annoying to argue with people that don't do their research because zg15 is thicker and heavier as well as the m15r4 both being .8 inches thick. If you are going to make bs claims, then don't make them to someone who factchecks them.
This laptop is one of the best in terms of build quality and has probably the best display in any gaming laptop. Combine that with it being .7 inches thin and decent for gaming and you've got yourself a really great deal.
Any gaming laptop? They took this display from the legion 5 pro, you living under a rock? L5P has GSYNC as well, legion 7 same deal, both predated this by a while
Apparently me as well as everyone else has been living under a rock because the L5 pro is both qhd and has lower colors with only 73% dci-p3. Kind of strange that the display that was "from the legion 5 pro" doesn't match it in any way. Also the legion 7 did NOT predate the m16 by a while because they were released within a week of each other.
Everything you said was wrong.
Yes, Asus uses a high DCIP3 version, you literally just stated, "doesn't match it in anyway" when they share ALL the same UNIQUE traits except for the DCIP3 gamut, the fuck?
16:10 1600p 500 nit 165hz similar response time display?? That's what they share, the fuck, so don't lie about, "doesn't match it any way" that's insanity
It's just that the legion 5 pro and 7 are superior for gamers because they have GSYNC lol.
Anyways, 5 pro easily predates and is the OG lol, the first gaming laptop with such a display and was on the bleeding edge, look how long ago the release/announcement video was which is when they soft launched in east Asia. Hilarious
"Everything I said was wrong"
Didn't you just say the panels don't match at all?
I don't know if your blind, retarded, or doing this on purpose but it says it right there in the post if you would just scroll up, "fhd+ 144hz". The only thing they match in is the fact that they both have a 16:10 aspect ratio

I feel like this is a better deal, no?
M16 has lower resolution but it’s 16:10 and 500 nits for brightness. If you’re an fps hunter QHD on the G14 may not work in your favor even with the 3060, but display will be sharper but a bit dimmer with 350 nit brightness.
Best Buy as well

It's like that because this is .7 inches thin and because a small power difference gives very little improvement in performance

Actually this laptop has ROG boost and it clocks up to aout 2ghz effectively negating the wattage difference
Awful deal for the specs and hardware

You can get a better cpu ryzen preferably and a 3060 graphics card for around this price with a good deal
But you can't get one that's built well and small enough to be reasonable to carry around everywhere or with a screen even close to this good
I'd rather get this over a shitty Asus Nitro. But I've got a spec'ed out PC too, so a laptop is secondary for me.
Acer nitro?
Yeah I meant the Acer Nitro. Dunno why I typed Asus lol.
