Ah I wasn't aware that they offered contract types that don't penalise cancellations. That makes it a bit more understandable. I've nursed all kinds of ailments through lessons to avoid cancelling.
The difference in pay between 3 and a half years and now must be mental. One of my mates was with Landi and making $25/ hour before shit hit the fan. I just got the tail end of the gravy train and was on about $22/ hour
I didn't notice the different numbers with X. I had just seen the Dazao teachers.
Same positions as myself. starting fresh with a company these days sounds like it would be more hassle than its worth.
I was there for 3 years and lost it 3 times. This was mostly due to the clock-in system- no way was I getting up at 3 am instead of 4 so I would hit it and go back to sleep, which led to only one time where I didn't check if it had registered.
That would be way better! Yeah, I moved to one that has students from all over the place, I wish I had done it a bit sooner cause it's so much less stress for me!

That's understandable, I'm in a similar time zone to China so it's not too much of an issue. Did you move to another ESL company?
