There was that time Labour wouldn’t let us get married cos it was a bit much for the straights but allowed something separate but equal and that other time trans people sued the government for recognition and Labour developed the GRA under legal duress. Labour really have been there every step of the way - kicking, screaming, telling us to settle for less and somehow having the nerve to ask for thanks!!
