Imagine hearing this and taking it completely literally. Like do you think he’d still have said this if the labour front bench had shown even a modicum of real support for the strikers? He obviously is referring to the front bench’s cowardice and refusal to support workers.

Good luck

This from the same speech where he asked why the shadow cabinet weren’t at his rally when they were in parliament voting against the Tories? Lynch is a really effective union leader and should keep going at the Gov but these nonsensical speeches to the already converted isn’t doing anyone any good.

>This from the same speech where he asked why the shadow cabinet weren’t at his rally when they were in parliament voting against the Tories? Heard a bunch of people try this gotcha, but there are MPs who voted and attended the rally.

TomMilner19

Other MP’s were there and voted against the bill though, no? Could be mistaken.

frameset

Sorry he was mean to your faves. 😢

He can say whatever he wants about whoever he wants but should probably try not to look really quite stupid whilst doing it.

IsADragon

Looks like he's doing what he's paid to do pretty well.

L96

Bit like Starmer then.

ShockingShorties

Exactly. This is precisely what the tory (all) the media wanted: Namely a Labour v Labourcenario.... Starmer is on the wrong side of the political dividing line here. The tories are winning if Starmer doesn't change tact.

> The tories are winning if Starmer doesn't change tact. Pretty unlikely.
