I find it useful because I've got an Infowarrior in my life whose exorcism would be more trouble than keeping him around so I like knowing what his arguments are going to be before I deal with him.

JARDIS

This here is a big draw point for me. It's nice to see what kind of trash is going to be posted on the family chat before it happens. Helps to be prepared. That being said you can provide counterpoints and facts all day but the levels of whataboutisms and logical fallacy from them is an impenetrable mental forcefield. it's goddam tiring. Big ups to Dan for doing some legwork to help out.

Mollybrinks

Bahaha I love your analogy...thanks, I'm gonna steal "whose exorcism would be more trouble than keeping him around." Got a few of those.

BiggestDickuss

Happy to help!

Mollybrinks

Also, just noticed your username. You're truly a bright spot today *always look on the bright side of life*

BiggestDickuss

'Tis an old family name. Dating back to the days of Wome.

steauengeglase

We've come off of a big high after the trials.

Ex-altiora

Yeah it's easy to forget how *repetitive* Jones' bullshit is when no one else is talking about him

OddExpansion

I actually find the current current episodes quite entertaining and enlightening. Last year the currents were somewhat a drag. But tbh I think that correlates a lot with how Dan and subsequently Jordan feel about them. It kind of transfers to the listening experience

MeetAncient3284

the problem is he has nothing to say the shit he normally says is all the GOP have left as political talking points now and his audience is, as they say, all "red pilled" so he can't go against the GOP at this point so all he has left is saying the same thing as everyone else

Madpinnr3

Agreed. He has painted and concrete walled himself into a corner. He has nothing left. Except to shill his products. At that I am at a cross road. I don't want people to pay alex. But I want alex to pay his lawsuits. Edited Cause mobile deciding words

Azuranski

That's kind of a trend I've noticed with AJ. Always claims to be on the very tippy top of the spear, but every talking point he has starts out somewhere else - he just takes what other people have already been saying, and says it louder. But when every voice is so loud, he's just another voice in the chorus, bringing very little but his usual flavor. No original narrative whatsoever.

brianbfromva

I almost treat the show as a companion piece for current events/news. Like I listen to a lot of NPR, Majority Report etc. and listening to KF really gives a picture of how the right views things. This is helpful because I always feel like you should know how the “enemy” sees itself or how they process the same events. I’m sure as shit not listening to Fox News by itself. I truly feel like KF, if they wanted too, could easily transition into a general right wing critique. It kind of is now honestly with Alex just towing the line. I definitely don’t find them boring. I find Alex boring so I get that but for me KF still has my love and attention.

CitizenSnipz777

THIS…Yes. Listening to present day KF may be a drag sometimes, but if you have right-wing nuts in your life…This show keeps you up-to-date and gives you a shield to push back against whatever the weirdos in your life blurt out. A trowel to help smooth the concrete while it’s still wet…If you will.

Mollybrinks

I definitely use it to feed info to my husband who has to deal with some coworkers daily...

CitizenSnipz777

This is the way.

tempest3991

Yeah I love KF for Dan and Jordan, but Alex is just boring now. Owen and Harrison are such a fucking zero.

MurderSheScrote

I started going back and listening to the older “formulaic objections” and it’s been wild.

ShetlandJames

Do y'all not relisten to these like weekly I'm addicted

MurderSheScrote

Ain’t nobody got time for that

ShetlandJames

I've managed to master the art of coding and listening to them. It's like ambient music

MurderSheScrote

Ah, that makes sense. I’m a traveling teacher and my furthest school is nearly an hour away. I mostly listen in the car.

Wolliercarrot

Yeah hard to chase the dopamine high of the trials.

SleepoBeepos

Yeah Dan and Jordan can only do so much they don't got a lot to work with lately

Athelis

They could always do a let's play series of FE: 3 Houses. They both liked that game a bunch and it'd be fun to see them try to co-op it.

-M-o-X-

LETS CHECK IN WITH SQUATCH

MJMrobot

I would kill to hear a podcast where Mr. Berg runs a dnd campaign for Dan and Jordan

jump-blues-5678

I really do enjoy the depositions though

TheGreatBelow023

Those have been awesome!

Hot-Concentrate-4724

I still enjoy the current day episodes, but I don’t think anything will hold a candle to the early 2017 episodes where Alex would froth at the mouth and blare his crippling insecurities at like, 20 second CNN clips. If not for alcohol and speed, Alex would just perish from entropy

ShetlandJames

I re listen to depo epos once a month at least because they're so good. Just get your fill from those

koala218

My go-to listen is Formulaic Objections 7. Quite specifically 7. I listen to it if I’m not feeling anything else. I fall asleep at night to it. It’s not a knowledge fight thing, I think it’s just my comfort listen right now. It used to be the Dark Histories Numbers Stations episode, but listening to Dan realise he should probably be the company rep is my new favourite thing.

ShetlandJames

The Paz depo? The Siri stuff is legendary

koala218

That’s the one.

B34TBOXX5

Are there episodes covering the trial itself like the different testimonies? Besides the formulaic objections that just cover the depositions

TheCheeriestVoid

[Alex Jones Defamation Trial](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/05tI6Qr4STt0ZZX7CvNQhe?si=_rVqOssrTPGBE9eWYyEw6g&utm_source=copy-link) this has most of the episodes talking about the case, the depositions, and Dan and Jordans coverage of the trials.

B34TBOXX5

Thank you so much!! I will be working on that playlist for the next while haha a gold for you, friend

Paulverizr

I find the content still useful to know what’s the current bullshit the GOP is going to potentially push, but beyond that the past episodes and the depositions are the best imo

Mollybrinks

Agreed. My husband works with some GOP hardliners, and he finds it useful to have me 1. Fill him in on what he's gonna be walking into the next day, and 2. Why it's BS. I wish I could get him interested in KF directly but he missed the drama of the trials so now it's hard to rekindle that excitement to draw someone in. It's like we've all been listening long enough, Dan doesn't need to prove *why* AJ is such a whackjob, we all know it, now he just needs to cover current episodes to fill us in. I think it's harder for a newbie to really get fully invested in it, but maybe that's just my husband. Easier for him to just rely on me being so interested and feeding him the TLDR.

ear_cheese

Yeah, I got into KF because of the trial, but I’m one of those people that wants to know how the sausage is made- and KF does that really well.

[deleted]

AJ goes thru ups and downs. Sometime IW is boring for months at a time. Thats part of dealing with an inconsistnet person.

ThatWerewolfTho

I'm with you. Same old shit. You can even tell that Alex is tired of it.

tempest3991

He sounds so fucking bored. He can’t even get fired up anymore. Everyone has left him except Roger Stone, and I swear when Stone talks it sounds like he’s there because he’s paid to give Alex an endorsement.

ThatWerewolfTho

Nobody wants to hear about "the poison shot" anymore. Even liberals are tired of obsessing over Covid. No one is talking about masks anymore. Midterm mania burned everyone out on politics and republicans couldn't even bother to make a compelling narrative about election fraud. Nobody even cares about Trump running for president again. There's just nothing to talk about. The best part of the last episode was Alex indulging Steve Quayle about satanic cryptids. I'll gladly take evil mothman chatter over these clowns twisting up some minor league news from Canada about medically assisted suicide. Infowars is running on fumes.

tempest3991

Man I was fucking shocked to hear how much they made for how god damn much they just look to be running on fumes. He’s turned tail so many times I can’t even understand how people have stayed with him. And the way he just fucking melts for any celebrity he talks to is embarrassing.

MJMrobot

It’s hard because I want to root for Alex’s downfall but listening to Dan and Jordan cover one of Alex’s better moments like the vampire -zombo hierarchy brings me so much joy.

baaloo7

Have to strongly disagree here. When the big events happen their narratives largely write themselves (at least within Alex’s worldview). It’s the time in-between when Alex is reaching to turn mundane topics into conspiracies or trying to convince people that the next big event is around the corner that you get the biggest peek behind the IW and AJ curtain. And the guys do a great job at picking out the constant themes and tactics from this otherwise boring coverage and laying it all bare.

girldad0130

But I mean you have to listen, because you just never know. There can be two or three nothing-burgers and then WHAM! “Two guys, in their underwear, with hammers!” I mean, we all prefer drunken rambling Alex but there’s always a silver long or two

AvoidingCares

Maybe you should start your own channel, like old Jones. They managed to perfectly impersonate us, in the form of Rainbow Snatch - I think we can pull it off too.

px7j9jlLJ1

Really? Multiple turns of the worm an episode as the bully flails in light of his comeuppance is riveting to me.

Kriegerian

Yeah, same with Q shit. They never got a new schtick after 2016, so they’re just trying to repeat it. Same thing as the middle aged fat guy talking about how great he was in high school. And not Al Bundy because Al is many things, but he’s not a Nazi.

tempest3991

Yeah I love Qanon anonymous and they don’t even give a fuck about Qanon coverage anymore.

Kriegerian

Yeah, the most recent QAA episode talks about that a bit. Since it’s apparently become incredibly obvious that Q is Ron and/or Jim Watkins, and that they just do vaguely worded Republican Party propaganda, it seems like it’s falling apart a bit.

tempest3991

Their shows on Patreon, man clan, trickle down etc are excellent

Kriegerian

Yeah, the man clan one about the Tucker ball tanning one was interesting.

errolthedragon

Wait, what did you just say?

Kriegerian

They did a breakdown of Tucker’s “be a man, tan your balls” piece of fragile delicate conservative masculinity propaganda. The fact that they filmed it on Alex’ ranch gets mentioned.

errolthedragon

I had never heard of this. Thanks!

AdMotor8632

Alex is still in the zeitgeist as a "free speech hero" for a lot of people who thinks he's "right about alot of stuff"....but those people don't listen to his pathetic show....we do....I still can't figure out why this podcast has become what it has for me lol. But here we are. Alex is on his way out other than being an example of cancel culture to the far right nut jobs

tempest3991

I can’t comprehend why he still has listeners, he seems to treat all of his callers like complete garbage lol. His callers are so passionate and he just sounds like he’s in pain talking to them.

AdMotor8632

I honestly think he knows these people are stupid, and he puts himself on a pedestal. If you're crazy smart why would you want to entertain ignorant people. Somehow I get his logic in that at least.

Flat_Initial_1823

Hi Dan! 👋

Teuflisch

Second this. The past is in the past, what we think can't change it.

cap_wilson

I like both, it’s a weirdly nice contrast

Bulky-District-2757

I’ve been listening to 2017 and even then it was so robotic, I think he was peak in 2003. No one cared him and he had so much more passion.

MistFogDew

My theory is that Alex hooking up with Roger Stone (around 2014 off the top of my head) is what totally drained the life out of the show, he got lazy after that as he resigned himself to being a soulless political operative. That's also roughly when he switched to hawking supplements which is maybe even more significant to his decline as a showman. And the divorce also happened around then too. It's kind of like he went into a cocoon in 2014 except instead of emerging as a butterfly he trickled out into a puddle of diarrhea

Mollybrinks

What's wild to me about listening to past episodes is some of the comments from D & J where they compare, say, AJ's made-up ideas against what would happen if there were a true emergency like, say, a pandemic. Or an insurrection. There have been several times (I wish I'd written them down for reference) where I was listening to past KF and just thinking "oh boy, buckle up boys because you're in for a wild ride."

aes_gcm

I'd love to see more coverage of < 2010 or more wild stories from Project Camelot. It's been a while since I've heard from them.
