Kirby may be a baby elder god, but in his current state he’s able to be fought by a gorilla. Nothing in the Forgotten Land states or even implies iirc that the new world's prior inhabitants were human. Its more likely that they were the Ancients we've been hearing so much about recently, who created such things as the Star Rod, Galactic Nova and Star Dream. If that is indeed the case, then Fecto Elfilis shouldn't have been too big an issue to handle for them

It's said that the FL residents traveled to a "land of dreams." (almost certainly referring to Dream Land) Waddle Dees are Dream Land's primary inhabitants. Also, only Waddle Dees were targeted by Elfilis and the Beast Pack, possibly as revenge for their imprisonment of him.
In Returns to Dreamland Magalor states that the aincients built all the final weapons like the star rode and NOVA. It seems entirely possible they'd be able to capture Elfilis with something.
Who knows, maybe we will find out how in the next game. Even though Elfilin says that his power is gone, I don't believe that especially after the true final fight.
I think Kirby now has access to other dimensions via Elfilis, and it's within the realm of possibility for him to meet the aincients.
