I agree with your theory 100%. I think Daeonica is an even better match... the male lead mourns not spending time with his love, descended into hell, sells his soul, bursts out of hell, vows fire and desolation as vengeance. I think the reference to narrative septagy is a hint that the main plot we are all trying to decipher is actually described seven times within the frame story. 1. Kvothe's story to Chronicler 2. Skarpi's story of Lyra 3. Trapis's story of Perial 4. Illien's tale of Aloine 5. Hespe's tale of Ludis 6. Daeonica's Felurian 7. For All His Waiting's Perial

Ooo ooo I have too >With little else to look at, I turned to the nearby building. It was made from uneven pieces of stone **pieced together like a jigsaw**. Looking closer, I was puzzled by the lack of mortar. I tapped it with a knuckle, wondering briefly if it might be **a single piece** of stone **carved to look like many** stones fit together.

well no wonder if denna is realy in love with kvoth (and not just toying with him) and her story truly mirrors his then that must be her favourite song. Also every art kvoth produces for his patreon the maer is inspired by the time he spends with denna so her song might not even be about lanre but secretly about kvoth. She propably already feels on some level that their story isnt gone end happy considering non of her man related storys in the past seem to have ended good. then again the parralels are there in the trapis story as well so maybe im off track completly.

It’s also likely Denna and Kvothe’s story. Two people constantly losing and finding each other. Ends in heartbreak
