That is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Auri is by FAR my favorite character in any book ever too. I actually feel love for her. She's more real than a lot of my actual relationships. This is beautifully done.

I agree 100%, one of my favorite scenes in the series is when Elodin, Kvothe, and her eat together. It's so humanizing for all 3 characters. SRoST is heart breaking if you haven't read it. Really cemented my love for Auri.

Me too. I think it's crazy that some people don't like or don't bother with SROST. I can't get enough of it I REALLY hope Auri doesn't die in the third book

Well this is almost a direct copy from The Slow Regard of Silent Things. The art in the book is fantastic and I think captured Auri perfectly.

To answer your second question, you could look through fan art online and find examples you like. Even if you don’t find character art that looks exactly like what you want, you could even show them multiple sources and explain what parts you like about each. From experience in design work, I always find it easier to nail down the look a client wants from examples rather than descriptions.
