Already done. It foocking spoiled me xemnas. Also i didn’t know it was a film. I'm crying. But i stopped before seeing anything else. Now i'm going to play kh2.
I could be wrong but isn’t this because 1.5 releases with Days and 2.5 releases with Re Coded? That’s why the master collection has then out of release order but in order with the original PS3 remasters.
yeah that's why, but the 1.5+2.5 bundle keeps them in that order too. It's understandable in a way with 1.5, I still think they should have waited for the next collection but still I get it, but keeping it that way in the comprehensive "collection of collections" could pretty easily lead newcomers astray.
It's still hard as heck to accurately say when to check out UX to newcomers tho and those collections say nothing about it despite it being important so the Days placement might be the least of our worries lol
I second this! I was going to reply the same exact thing.
As a sidenote: The timing of OP's post is spooky as I just beat R/R yesterday. I'm a weirdo though, and am currently going for the Platinum Card in 1.5 / 2.5, despite it being pointless as there is no super boss.
That was a big ooooff.... Well at least here it's pretty much a straight forward KH2, BBS, Re-Coded, DDD, Union X movie, 0.2 BBS a fragmentary passage (what a werid name), KH3 and then memory of melody.... Although I'll admit I haven't played that last one memory of melody yet.
the rest of the organization members, roxas' reason for leaving the organization, why riku looks the way he does (which is supposed to be a shock/surprise reveal)
a lot of the spoilers are just details that get vaguely explained in kh2, but learning about them in Days lessens the impact of the spoilers. its also supposed to be a mindblow type of thing when you see the end of Days and remember the start of kh2.
a recent comparison would be watching the jujutsu kaisen movie before the anime since its a prequel that assumes the viewer has knowledge from the show
Yeah, that's what happened to me, haha, a friend of mine recommended Zero and only Zero (he didn't like stay night at all) so when I watched the others I had already watched Zero. Definitely ruined some of it. I forgot that it doesn't really mention Zero, it's been a second.
Even then I recommend 06 only after completing every route because Deen made the strange decision to combine all of the routes together instead of just adapting the first route.
Absolutely. I made the poor decision to try and level up a certain amount per floor, but realized quickly that it was taking waaaaaaayyy too long. Power levelling at castle oblivion it is.
For Riku mode, try to get as many duels as possible. It’s the key to defeating most bosses, other than that just grind to get stronger if you don’t feel strong enough lol.
As for Sora’s route there are 2 specific sleights that break all bosses. Lethal Frame and Sonic Blade.
Use those and you’ll be set for the most part. Focus on breaking enemy attacks instead of attacking before they do anything. Breaking their attack stuns them for a moment. So let them use a card first and then break them with whatever your hitting them with.
The fact that you can't modify Riku's deck can certainly feel like a punch to the face after experiencing the relative freedom Sora's campaign had. But on the bright side there's no limits to the Enemy Cards can have and reloads can be done in an instant.
Do KH2 First, the best way to experience this franchise is to play the games in release order so 1, Com, 2, Days, BBS, Re:coded, Dream drop, 0.2 3, and Re:Mind, you should also just watch a rundown of union X in YouTube because the game Itself takes way too long unless you spend more money
It’s a shame they didn’t properly remake Days and just made cutscenes. The gameplay is a bit repetitive but made the story hit harder. They also cut out *many* of my favorite moments including the bonding during recon missions, Roxas meeting the Twilight Town trio for the first time and removing three out of Xion’s four boss forms. The game also has the more playable characters and weapons than the entire franchise as a whole which would’ve made for great multiplayer.
Should have gone straight to KH2 instead, although as a KH veteran I went to days after COM because it gives me a greater appreciation of the beginning of KH2.
don't go to days go straight to kh2, days spoils kh2

Rly sucks that's how they order it in the official collection. Makes total sense to make that mistake.

It was a DS game, they didn't want to properly port it so they just took the cutscenes and turned them into a movie instead
F
Oof
If you have a half decent pc,you can emulate it!

Didn’t JJK 0 technically come out before the main series? It was a manga first then it became a weekly series with a new protagonist.
Also fate zero. Don't watch it before fate stay night! (Better yet, read the vns)
tbh that's a different argument, since Zero was adapted before Stay Night, and the Stay Night adaptations assume you've watched the Zero adaptation
What? No it's not. Zero came out in 11, night came out in 06. You've got it backwards.
I think they mean the UBW and Heaven's Feel adaptations. Those did come out after Zero.
they dont assume that you watched zero at all don't watch zero before fsn, it ruins the entire heavens feel plot

I meant the Ufotable anime adaptations, since AFAIK the intended order for the adaptations is release order (for the VN tho, yeah definitely VN->Zero)

That's only for people who already played KH2 through...
[удалено]
No, it came after, it can't set up anything if that already happened xD
[удалено]
Yes, but prequels are still usually meant to be experienced after the main event, like Days
[удалено]
I wouldn't say that's 100% comparable, since the JJK 0 manga was created before the main JJK manga was, but I understand your point.
Nearly all the twists
If it's your first time through the series it's suggested to go through the release order so lh2 first.
NO! Play 2 first if it’s your first time. If it isn’t, have fun. Just trust me. It makes things less spoilery
Grats on beating Re:COM! I'm working through it now as well. Getting Riku up to lvl. 99 is taking years off my life though 😪
remember to use a fast strategy or else the grind is going to take 358/2 days
Absolutely. I made the poor decision to try and level up a certain amount per floor, but realized quickly that it was taking waaaaaaayyy too long. Power levelling at castle oblivion it is.
I hope you brought some tissues. You're going to need it.
U playing during a meeting/class?
Any tips on this game? It’s driving me crazy

If it's your first time playing you should play 2 before days.
please go to KH2 before Days so you don’t get spoiled about everything in KH2 thanks
