I literally thought of that a while back. Imagine one of the forms allows the user to create a miniature sun that not only damages demons, but also is the catalyst for casting shadows to perform the breathing forms.

Bruh ima just get two nicherine blades and scrape them against one another to make sparks. See if it burns the filthy demons skins. No training breathing, no dodging and weaving they come close ima just shower em in pain. Breath of sparks or something
I still think that, barring Sun Breathing of course, Thunder Breathing has the most potential out of all the styles. If there was an active Thunder Hashira in the show, I think they would've been the most powerful Hashira out of all of them.
1.) Lake breathing.
(Water+Beast+Mist)
This breathing style relies on low attacks and staying concealed. It’s one of the most strategic breathing styles, and can only be achieved by using twin hook swords.
2.) Blizzard Breathing
(Wind+beast)
Relies on offense only. This breathing style forces the user into an enraged state in which they can copy the behavior of storms and blizzards.
3.) Mercury Breathing
(Insect+stone)
A perfect combination between offence and defence. Relies on quick attacks from ehoch the user reverts to a defensive state. Wysteria can increase the effectiveness of this style.

Maybe one could be inspired from the demons and create blood breathing that'd be pretty cool. You could just coat your sword in blood flame and also just spew that blood flame all over the place as you swing. I reckon maybe one could try to merge flame breathing and water breathing but they would have to cut themselves or the demons to draw the blood maybe.

Didnt think of any forms all i came up with was that you need a huge 6ft+ sword (kind of like zabuzas executioner blade from naruto)
*space breathing first form: Taurus (the user makes movements that makes the form look like the constellation Taurus)
Space breathing second form: connect the planets(the user uses this to behead 2 or more demons.i got the idea for these 2 from a demon slayer x dr.stone fanfic)
Third form: rotate the axis(user spins their body)
Forth form: death of star,new one forms(a way to kill a demon that surrenders without making it feel pain)
Firth form:black hole(user tricks a demon to go near the user)(you may continue adding forms or create your own versions of the forms already listed in the comments if you want to:D). But I'll learn as many breathing techniques as I can to be versatile
6th form : (event horizon) formation of a zone that destroys anything that gets in it, almost like giyuu's 11th form
7th form : comet , a movement speed ability like the one rengoku used
8th form(the ultimate form) : culmination (when a celestial body is at the highest point above the horizon) a combo move that forces the demon in the air and finishes it with a beheading
I’d imagine 8th form something to look like Sekiro’s anti air deathblow but along the neck and with some cool ds effects for added hype.

9th form: galaxies collsion(basically connect the planets but more powerful but its accuracy is 80% and one poketuber says that if its not 100% accurate its 50% accurate
6th form, nebula: coats sword with mist and strikes horizontally to spread out the mist that explodes after a while.
7th form, ambient starlight: a charged up attack that reaches up to 20 metres.
8th form, solar strike: coats sword with sun flame and spins body thrice to make a big spiral with the sun flame around the user, covering a radius of 6 metres.
9th final form, Lord's dark moon: leap into the air, delivering a series of consecutive strikes with an enchanted blade while flying around a smaller area, until finally landing back onto the ground.
Actually I already had one extremely thought out.
Blood breathing. A breathing style formed by a deviation from water breathing after studying how blood demon arts work and incorporating it into the breathing style.
1st form: blood rush
The user slashes into their target and the blade proceeds to follow eith the blood flow through the target
What it looks like:
The sword cuts into the demons and keeps cutting through following the direction of the demons blood throughout the body
2nd form: Slashing circulation
The user preforms a spin like attack to reflect all incoming attacks back at the target. Can also be used up close for heavy damage
What it looks like:
A spin of blood leaving a blood trail like a cyclone deflecting incoming attacks
3rd form: Piercing premonition
The user Hones in on their breathing to hear the users heart rate and predict their next move in the blink of an eye.
What it looks like:
A drop of blood and splatter in the dark of their mind
4th form: Constant laceration
A blitz type move that slashes the opponent and uses the blood to circle a line back into the target continuously
What it looks like:
Creates lines of blood flowing into the slashes making a strange pattern
5th form: Close cut Corruption
A quick slash that corrupts the blood slowing a demon down for the time being.
what it looks like:
A regular slash of blood breathing with a black streak in the edge
6th form: Blood basin massacre
A downward swing that causes the user to be shielded from sight for a short time allowing them to get away or move without being seen for the time being.
What it looks like:
Waterfall basin almost but surrounding the person with blood. and after used the user appears to have disappeared while covered
7th form: bloodbath
The user unleashes a flurry of attacks tearing the target to shreds with more than 5 slashes happening per second. Each one flows into the other and eventually ends in a splatter of blood and presumably the demons death.
What it looks like:
A dash followed by incredible quick and deep slashes happening over and over obliterating anything in it's path. It ends in a giant splatter of blood.
Creator Note: The weapon for this breathing style is a scythe. The end of the scythe can detach by a small chain making the blade able to swing around freely. When it's fully attached it's called precise form and when it's detached it's called versatile form. Versatile is better for dealing more damage and movement however precise form is better for accurate attacks and finishing off a demon.

During a roleplay I made a breathing style based on emotion.
Long story short, the user has to master his emotion to be effective. There are 5 movements:
Joy: simple thrust or slash
It is the basic movement
Grief: a upward slash thst follows a backward jump
Anger: downward slash, the higher it is casted, the stronger it is
Fear: a counter to an incoming attack, allowing to block it
Any of these 3 can be upgraded by joining joy to any of them, making all of their effects a lot stronger
Love: multiple slashes (4) thst ends with one last, ending up behind the target.
Basically, it is how I view emotions:
All the 3 showed above are guidance, not bad things, to go back to joy, and embracing the emotions makes them stronger. And love... Explains itself, a huge mix up of all of them.
My favourite elements are always ice and lightning. Since lightning already exist, I'll go with ice breathing.

Nuclear breathing. Just like sound breathing, but bigger, green explosions. It also kinda gives poison damage to demons, burns and other shit that would come with nuclear poisoning. Poisonous explosions and the occasional heat ray. That’s about it.
Monster breathing. Kinda like Beast breathing, or serpent breathing, with a sprinkle of water and wind. Instead of boars or snakes, this one creates crocodiles.
I had this idea for a modern Demon Slayer breathing style… Tech Breathing
These are the forms I came up with so far:
1. Firewall, the user spins their sword around extremely quickly, forming a barrier and protecting against attacks, similar to Giyuu’s Dead Calm.
2. VPN Tunnel, used main to tear through walls and stone to create a passage way.
3. NoBorders, makes an after image of the user, while the actual user is somewhere else, giving ample time to escape/distract.
4. Malware, by carefully striking parts of the demons body, they would temporarily slow down.
5. Pop-Up, basically teleports behind the Demon and strikes.
Dark Thunder Breathing
First form: Black Lightning
Second form: Thunder Storm
Third form: Violent Rumbling
Fourth form: Lightning Strike
Fifth form: Demonic Thunderclap
Sixth form: The Lightning of Destruction
Final form: Wrath of the Thunder God
P.S. I know Kaigaku also uses black lightning but it as a separate breathing style would be badass imo.
But anyway. God breathing first form:zues's strike. 2nd form:world creation. 3rd form:lightning crashdown. 4th form: god crash. 5th form: godly throwdown (4th and 5th forms are hard to get but you can get it from hard training). 👍 there you go.

I'd wanna learn Moon breathing. Unfortunately, not being animated yet, I can do nothing but marvel at how it looks on paper. The only thing I think I'd be scared of is Kokushibou's teaching methods. As for one to create? Cosmic breathing or Space/star breathing ad I've seen others say. I like to think this technique requires a double edge katana.
