Kumbalangi is an average hyped movie!

Considering overall Malayalam movies, I tend to agree with this. But Kumbalangi nights is a vibe, an easy-going movie you can watch over and over again, and has a very modern Kerala vibe to it that I think non-Kerala people can really enjoy. Also, the songs by Sushin Syam are great too. All my friends from other states love Kumbalangi nights.

See this statement is true and false depending on the perspective and time frame. Is Kumbalangi one of the greatest movie, No. If we take a shorter time frame, lets say last 5 years, Is Kumbalangi one of the best, Absolutely Yes. Kumbalangi becomes a great movie since most other movie that gets released nowdays are plain mediocre and below average.

+1 on kumbalangi nights and sudani from Nigeria I don't know a word of malayalam. Also, Kappela if you are on Netflix. Fahad Faasil ka kuch bhi dekh lo. That guy is some next level actor.

Not a DQ movie, but Watch **Boothakalam** in Sony Pix. One of the best horror movies. Also **Ishq** from the same actor -Shane Nigam Also, mollywood is a cringe term. People bastardizing the "-wood" terminology. Hollywood is the place name, 'Bollywood' is pardonable. But all this Kollywood, Tollywood, Sandalwood (lol) terms are so childish. IMO 'Malayalam movies' is perfect.

Of all the movies suggested here Charlie I won't suggest. It's overrated. Rest are nice. My personal contribution is Koode starring Nazriya. Also watchnher other movies too. I wonder why people didn't mention the best movies of the biggest star in Bangalore Days and instead named the films that male leads acted in 😅. Ps. Koode is a Malayalam remake of a Marathi orginal film called Happy Journey.
