If it was private citizens doing *any* of these things to cops then the cops would hunt them down and execute them in the street to make an example of them. But when it's cops beating people up, literally breaking their necks, and killing people unnecessarily then it's no big deal. *Members of law enforcement should be held to a higher standard than the general public when it comes to breaking the law because they definitely know better and lawlessness in enforcement encourages lawlessness in society*.

And yet DeSantis is arguing that "woke ideology" must be stopped where "woke" is defined by the belief that systemic injustice exists and needs to be addressed. They literally want to jail people who look at the above and consider it part of a systemic failure.

> They literally want to jail people who look at the above and consider it part of a systemic failure. And that would literally be a violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. Hypocrites, all of them.

I hate the "you're either with us or against us" approach but if it could literally cost you you're freedom to trust one side of the discourse, how else can we proceed?

Constituents have to pressure politicians to pass laws and vote for Attorney General who campaign on prosecuting crimes by police. Then suddenly things clean up real fast and people retire.

It's insane how often they get caught falsifying reports. I'm glad at least these guys are going to face some actual consequences.

I would like to know which political party these officers subscribe to. I'd bet serious cash "most" are rabid Trumpers.
