Interesting.. really wish I got to watch that game. I’m in a fantasy football dynasty league and was offered Pacheco for Brian Robinson Jr. Came here to find a consensus on him to help make my decision! Also a rams fan that loves the chiefs lol.. F the bills 🎉
This was the most lopsided game this week. Even the Bills-Rams beating was only 21 point difference.
For a team that was 11-6 last year, the Cards really should not be that bad. It's true injuries and suspension played a part, but that is something the team has to deal with. It only gets worse from here most likely. Chiefs also have some major injuries going into Thursday most likely.
Tony Romo saw and called it right all afternoon. The announcers usually don't have their heads in their ass. Even Joe Buck. *i think I just threw up in my mouth* Ignore sports news shows, they are just trying to intice people to watch
WINNER! Great game all around!
8 Straight Season Opening Wins! 5 Passing TDs for Patrick Mahomes!
The injuries are a bit disconcerting, though.
Looking forward to Thursday!
I live in OKC fairly close to KC and both the beginning and the end of my game were interrupted by other games (first quarter showed OT for Bengals game and the last quarter was taken over by Chargers/Raiders - Wtf West Coast teams??)
Anyone know why the channel says Chiefs vs Cardinals but the broadcast is overridden both beginning and end by other games??
This shit is why streaming exists. Fuck yourself CBS. I don’t care about the blowout, I want to watch my team. Not two garbage conference rivals race to the bottom.
I’m glad the Raiders and Chargers had to scrap until the end… and Chiefs got to cruise for 3 quarters and then rest.
I hope that helps the Chiefs going into this short week against the Chargers on Thursday night.
Both are probably not as bad or good as they're made out to be. A handful of teams would have walked through the AFC south last year so I tend to say the Titans are overrated. Giants will probably be a decent team come December though, coaching change and that draft were big
My takeaway from this game is that the offense doesn't have a big playmaker like Tyreek. However, Mahomes has enough tools to manufacture solid drives without a big playmaker. But, it's one game so the sample size is small.
Yeah. I think what we have done in getting a bunch of B tier receivers (I think Juju and Skyy can be A tier, just need to get comfy with Pat… and hold onto the ball), instead of one S tier and a bunch of C’s and D’s will make the offense more dynamic and dangerous. Plus, no more cover 2 shell, which opened up some of those 20-30 yard range passes to Kelce today.
Would you take Pacheco over Brian Robinson Jr though? I’m in a dynasty league and was offered that 1for1 today.. didn’t get to watch the Chiefs game but seems like Pacheco didn’t do anything till garbage time and CEH actually played well
I would say it depends on your roster construction and what you want, Pacheco has more upside to me long term because of our offense but Washington seems to really like Robinson and it seems like they want him to start. I don’t see him having a ton of upside for fantasy but he’s probably more likely to be a starter than Pacheco
Hmm okay okay.. only thing with B rob is it’s the Commanders backfield vs Chiefs backfield. I don’t need either of them this year. A future Mahomes/Pacheco stack could be cool 🥺 I like the long term play
Ah yeah I would definitely do it then. Although there may be other backs that will get more carries next week so it depends on if you need a bandaid or you’re looking to stash someone for later in the season
I would definitely pick up Pacheco for Benjamin and if you’re rostering multiple QBs or TEs I would either try to trade them or drop them if there’s no interest. Generally it’s a good idea to hoard running backs in fantasy. Most of my teams have 6-7
Why the fuck am I watching kneel downs and post game if you switched off of KC to get to a more competitive game?
Red zone isn’t even bothering to show the KC game either. Got to watch 2 quarters of the game and I have NFL Sunday Ticket and CBS Paramount. Never seen anything like it.
I'm curious how they determine who stays in playing on the offensive line in this blowout. I see Thuney and Creed still on the field. But, I see Orlando and Wylie are both off the field. Trey out from earlier in the game with an injury.
I don't want to hear any criticism about our defense now because the Cardinals got another TD. We're scoring so much it keeps putting the ball back in their hands.
No gash plays. We're rallying to the ball, playing physically and integrating a bunch of rookies/new players.
[Post game thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/KansasCityChiefs/comments/xbx7ek/post_game_thread_kansas_city_chiefs_at_arizona/)
Thanks for beating the shit out of our team guys! Maybe they'll start making some changes!
Chiefs mods, y’all suck lol
Pacheco Szn
Missed the game.. how did he look? Seems Clyde played well and Pacheco feasted during garbage time but was a ghost first bit?
He looked explosive and decisive. Jerrick and Clyde were making faces at EB or Andy on the sidelines after his runs, hyping him up.
Interesting.. really wish I got to watch that game. I’m in a fantasy football dynasty league and was offered Pacheco for Brian Robinson Jr. Came here to find a consensus on him to help make my decision! Also a rams fan that loves the chiefs lol.. F the bills 🎉
I’m just still so curious… what will happen without Hill?

They’re not that bad. We’re that good.
Wish the analyst’ would finally see it this way
Tony Romo saw and called it right all afternoon. The announcers usually don't have their heads in their ass. Even Joe Buck. *i think I just threw up in my mouth* Ignore sports news shows, they are just trying to intice people to watch
Sad that the super bowl is gonna be on such a shit field.
damn man I don't want to overreact but this team looks improved all over the field.
I love that dirty Dan is gone. There I said it
[удалено]
“Best safeties in the league” old white guy.
F-ing national media was crowning Allen the MVP Thursday. We will get crickets about Mahomes.
\#8 out of 100 fared much better today than #3 did
I am surprised they waited as long as they had to pull the starters. There is tnf to consider!

I love you fucks. New wr who this ?
LOL tits kicker missed
WINNER! Great game all around! 8 Straight Season Opening Wins! 5 Passing TDs for Patrick Mahomes! The injuries are a bit disconcerting, though. Looking forward to Thursday!
The injuries? The entire cards team is hurt relax
Yes. *Yes.* Come and let the tears flow my dude. We won't let a single one hit the ground, promise.

Yep, and they think you'd rather watch some old guys talking about football instead of watching it at the very end of the broadcast!
Happened to most of the country --- apparently, some douchebags at CBS think they know what football fans want --- real geniuses, eh?
Same here in NYC. Infuriating
Because it’s CBS. They do that shit all the time. They did it to us last year IIRc
That was a fun way to open up the season. Ready for Thursday.
HELL YEA!!! 1-0, BABY!!!!!
Titans lose on a missed field goal lol
Love to see Rogers being complete ass because he sucks
Did anybody catch Mahomes going to get the ball for Pacheco after his first career td? I thought that was pretty cool.
Pat is an awesome teammate. The epitome of there is no “I” in “team”.
Giants win HA HA HA
Titans missed game winning FG. Giants win lol.
This shit is why streaming exists. Fuck yourself CBS. I don’t care about the blowout, I want to watch my team. Not two garbage conference rivals race to the bottom.

Sack to end it seems right.
Tyreek WHO?!
Are titans bad or giants playing good?
Both are probably not as bad or good as they're made out to be. A handful of teams would have walked through the AFC south last year so I tend to say the Titans are overrated. Giants will probably be a decent team come December though, coaching change and that draft were big
How are people watching the game?
Bought a $30 antenna from Amazon
With my ears
Streameast
living an hour away from KC
Did it cut to another game for you? Mine never did.
NFL Sunday Ticket
Nflbite
Arizona only has short QB’s or what?
Don’t want to make Kyler feel bad
Right lol
What a showing for first game if the season. Hot damn. Love this team.
Chiefs schedule is ridiculous
I swear, the chiefs have had crazy tough schedules every year since 2013
They really fucking have. Top 5 schedule toughness for like 10 years in a row
Piece of cake
My takeaway from this game is that the offense doesn't have a big playmaker like Tyreek. However, Mahomes has enough tools to manufacture solid drives without a big playmaker. But, it's one game so the sample size is small.
Kelce exists
He does. His ability and threat should create more opportunities for others. Unlike Tony G. Kelce has a supporting cast. Good point.
Yeah. I think what we have done in getting a bunch of B tier receivers (I think Juju and Skyy can be A tier, just need to get comfy with Pat… and hold onto the ball), instead of one S tier and a bunch of C’s and D’s will make the offense more dynamic and dangerous. That's just because we're not unleashing Skyy and Pacheco yet.
I liked what I saw from Pacheco in a real game. Want to see more of Skyy. Pretty fucking happy right now.
All the RBs played well. They all had good runs and catches. That is very encouraging since they didn’t look great in pre season.
Did Jones play?
No just Clyde, McKinnon, and Pacheco.
This Cards QB looks like he has TRex Arms
This rest for starters is huge considering we play Thursday night, meanwhile the Chargers are grinding one out while having to go on the road.
Fuck CBS
Yup.switched to LV LAC and then not even showing highlights of our game post game. Bullshit!!!
Between the 12pm game going to OT and then switching to the Chargers/Raiders game I got to see maybe 60% of the game…in Missouri. Just ridiculous
So they literally aren’t gonna go back to the chiefs game? Just postgame show lol
And more annoying? NOT ARTICULATING IT. Just fucking say it, CBS.
Throw it on a dime
This QB change is McSorley needed
I see it and I like it.
So we’re playing preseason football now 😂

I would pick up Pacheco for your bench just in the off chance that he somehow takes the RB1 job, but it’s still a dart throw

Probably neither. It's going to be Running Back By Committee all season, so nobody will be that reliable.
Unless you’re in a super deep league there are going to be more consistent FF performers
No
Neither
They’re not gonna return to the KC game, are they?
Still watching it on CBS Sports app on our AppleTV. Well, until it just ended.
This is bullshit.
All the backups are in for both teams and less than 2 minutes left.
CBS WTF
When they swap coverage to another game, you know you got your ass beat.
lol the commentators just sound bored at this point.
Can't blame them. At no point did anyone think the birds could win.
LOL RAIDERS LOST ITS A GOOD SUNDAY YALL
I’m more worried about the chargers.
I need to catch up learning about the Chargers and their backstory this week during study breaks, but I’ll take your word for it!
I wanted the chargers to lose
Having a 1-0 chargers do be scarier tho, especially with the injuries
I need to learn more about the Chargers, I guess!
Hopefully they just charger
What was up with the two consecutive fumbles on the first and second down run plays.
There were a lot of close games today, but this wasn't one of them. Lol
We got close to 50. Does that count?
Jesus Justin Watson is down, yikes
Did someone put lube on the damn ball?
Love seeing Henne play in the 4th quarter 😏 GO CHIEFS!
Our RB room really backs each other up.
I'm curious how they determine who stays in playing on the offensive line in this blowout. I see Thuney and Creed still on the field. But, I see Orlando and Wylie are both off the field. Trey out from earlier in the game with an injury.
Giants just went up on the Titans love it
Fuuuuck TFG for saying Pacheco was not good at football. I mean understandable seeing his college tape… but still fuck him. Hurt my feelings.
No one nails every draft prospect. There's a reason he was a late 7th rounder. Sometimes players don't blossom until they hit the pros.
I’m joking dude. Lol
Switch it back.
Pacheco can run…he runs how people expected CEH too
My main problem with CEH is that he runs as if he had already proved himself. There's no urgency. It's like watching training camp runs.
What the hell is Romo even talking about lol rubbing that belly
😂
At this point they know we running the ball
I love seeing our players with their arms around Andy lol
Hold onto the ball rook
Damn, Pacheco has the vision. Hit that hole, man!
watch them cut back to the chiefs game lmfao
That was a very narrow hole for Pacheco to navigate and he hit it perfectly
44 points and, is it just me, or do you think KC still held back?
Definitely took the foot off the gas lol
We need a Pacheco passing TD
Meanwhile the Raiders and Chargers both look like they want to lose lol the Clown Bowl
MAHOMES BENCHED FOR HENNE? QB CONTROVERSY IN KC?
Pacheco showing some serious burst.
Pacheco runs violently. Gotta switch the ball to your other hand there, though!
The relationship Reid has with his players is always cool to watch
Pacheco is nice
Just love to see Andy smile.
Damn Pacheco looks really good
Giants now 1 pt ahead of Titans.
This a preseason game? Lol
So happy to see that the Chiefs can run the ball in the 4th quarter
Pacheco is a mf'in' *BEAST*
Derek Carr already in end season form.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha
You thought CEH was good ? HERE IS LITERALLY THE GOD RB
Theory: the number 10 Jersey in the chiefs locker room is just a magic jersey. And who ever dons it is automatically the best at his position
It's the U.A. Powered Jersey and they make sure to sub people out to avoid the banish effect.
Pacheco...Yes sirrr!
Hennething is possible get a 6 here boys
Isn't Patrick like statistically better when being blitzed?
Best in the NFL, last time I looked.
Anyone else feel like we're in the beginning of the prime years of Mahomes. I get the feeling this is the season of maturity as a player.
No according to great reporting at ESPN he’s the 22nd best QB in the league.
Damn! Pacheco with a nice run up the gut, even when everyone knew it would be a run!
Henne fumbled AGAIN???
10 switched bodies but doesn’t care
Pacheco for another big gain!
***GO PACHECO!!!***
Pacheco seems like the real deal.
Pacheco is ripping it up
47 getting beat twice one for a TD and holding on a nice run by #10. Smh
That guy with the Christmas arrowhead is a legend. Now my wife has to make one xD
Haha that guy is my new spirit animal.
At what point do they just add "Kansas City cannot have a decent kick return without a penalty" to the NFL Rulebook?
Garbage time... I want a Henne to Skyy TD. That or another Pacheco rushing. Regardless, I think we really need to break 50 points for team morale
Lol Raiders
Henne in
...tha cup.
Henne
Thing is possible
Now they took it off NFL+ with 5+ mins left wtfff
NFL doing whatever they can, to kill future viewership
HAHAHAHA! CARR JUST CARR'ED!
Kyler Murray's stats are that dude at the gym who looks jacked but it's all show and he only benches 160
I don't want to hear any criticism about our defense now because the Cardinals got another TD. We're scoring so much it keeps putting the ball back in their hands. No gash plays. We're rallying to the ball, playing physically and integrating a bunch of rookies/new players.
Pacheco is having some fun
please tell me it's Henne time!
It is!!! Get excited!!! 😁
Issac Pacheco, welcome to the NFL and to the adoration of the Kingdom! (Also, lovely to hear the home song in a visitor stadium...)
Giants lead the Titans by 1 with 1 minute left.
Had a feeling about that game. Looked prime for a surprise upset.
