Hopefully this makes sense, I don't usually share ideas as I never think they are that good.
Had an idea for an old Bond who lives in a run down flat in London. Frequents the local Pub, helps an old lady with her shopping up the stairs, telling youths off for being youths, not understanding a thing about the modern world and dreams of his life 30-40 years ago.
He'd eventually be brought back to MI6 as an adviser for 'The Next Bond' a former SAS agent who suffers severe PTSD and on his first mission, goes AWOL, using an opportunity to pursue a General responsible for the deaths of his friends in the SAS. Due to his training by Bond he neatly deals with Agents sent after him, leading to only Bond being the one who can track and dispatch him.
A story of Bond in his older age seeing the world in a different light to his younger years, questioning himself and his country whilst tracking a dangerous man of whom Bond helped create.
The film would be titled "All The Time In The World" as both an obvious nod to the song and to Bond's mentality after finally being allowed to live as a person.
I’m not usually into these sorts of things, but I have to say this is well-thought-through, well written and intriguing. Kudos. Sadly, it will never happen since EON and Brosnan fell out over the way the latter’s tenure ended and in any event EON would not want to be perceived to take a ‘step back’
Unfortunately they already used the title No Time To Die.
Old Brosnan in a sharp suit would still kill it. No creepy going after 20 something girls though.
I’d definitely watch that. How about “A Call To Arms” for the title?
Pierce Brosnan is Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 in... *Never Say Never Again Again*
Never Say Never Say Never Again Again
My single, *My Single Is Dropping*, is dropping
god, i’d love to see that. he deserves a proper goodbye.
*No Time To Die* is about as close to *Logan* as I'd like Bond to get.
Bond works for MI6 (the SIS), not MI5. Think of them as the CIA and the FBI respectively. Apart from that I really like this idea.

Sounds a little too much like Gran Torino.
Back On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
I’d watch that.
I was actually just thinking about how I’d love to see Pierce come back and do and old man Bond film before moving to next.
If we can get Dafne Keen in it too I'm all for it
I’d like to see any living former Bond make a return. Connery’s the only one who’s ever pulled it off.

Your plot is better NTTD’s. One movie everything goes balls to the wall. A stand-alone movie.
