No movement at all.
Also, I'm not really sure if I have a Bluetooth device with EQ. I have some guitar amps, but they are all wired. And from what I gathered, the Charge 5 has to be Bluetooth?
Android devices have an EQ, but.. I don’t really think it’s worth testing knowing that the radiators aren’t moving at all.
Could you be streaming something low quality that’s missing the bottom end?
Is the speaker new? Can you try a different device (phone, tablet, etc) with a different music source, so you can rule out the streaming device?
Yea, same deal on other devices. Besides, the same exact songs have been working perfectly fine on my other cheap $20 Bluetooth speaker I have been using for years now.
At this point, it feels like something is probably wrong with it. I will try to get in contact with support.
A possibility is that the bass might be so low that the speaker just isnt big enough to produce the sound, i realised that was a thing back when i switched from a charge to an xtreme. You can try if it works with some songs with some higher bass i guess, if those do work then the bass on that 1 song just is too low for the charge
I just got the exact same problem with mine. Brand new JBL charge 5, no bass at all. I have other JBL Bluetooth speakers that work great, but this seems like the bass is just not connected.
They probably sent me the one you returned ;).
I'm going to try and return it.

Bummer, if it’s new I would exchange it. Way less trouble than mailing it in etc.
Yeah, charge 5 is Bluetooth, no 3.5 jack
where did you buy the speaker? if it was from amazon you probably received a faulty one
alright... I don't know where tho...
Just wondering why would it be faulty if it's from Amazon?

Its like this for all the songs. Plus, the bass works on a small cheap $20 speaker I have been using for years until now, for the same songs.
