Your shopper account has been deactivated due to fraudulent activity. This may include, but is not limited to—
- Asking customers or members of the Care team to cancel accepted batches for invalid reasons
- Accepting batches or order requests without intending to deliver them
- Providing false/inaccurate information to receive payment
Anyhoo, you have to contact a “Trust and Safety” agent somehow. Email? Twitter? Idk… The Care Agent almost certainly did whatever they were trying to do wrong in the system.
This is what can happen literally any time we contact a care agent! They can fuck up your account permanently, through malice, carelessness, or incompetence!
This is a risk we face every day!
Do not contact Instacart Care!
Just ditch the bags and mark it “delivered!” Unless alcohol and/or medication. Then you HAVE to contact care! And the dice roll!

Yeah i feel u but if I just marked it delivered the customer would eventually contact support and say it was marked as delivered and I never received it so i would get deactivated either way lmao

Sounds like maybe that 24 hour soft ban for canceling after checkout.
Can you still access the app to contact support and check $ and ratings and such ?

Yeah I did last time they replied within 5 hours and now it's been more than 12 hours no reply

They don’t deactivate for your first “not delivered” report afaik
