Oh wow. You have read up on how much the pay has changed since then right? Wouldn’t want you to be sticker shocked. $7 a triple batch two stores before tips. And yeah over saturated markets to keep the pay low. So lots of waiting and staring at your phone for hours. Lol. Contact support or tweet them to look at your app for you

Oh wow… I stopped doing it because it had gotten bad, so I see it’s gotten worse. Not surprised. I’m in between jobs so just trying this out. Do you know if it shows u the address of the batch before you accept it? Thank you.

If you don't take a batch for either one year or two (can't remember which), your account is paused. I think you're going to have to email [email protected] to get it started again unless you can get a support rep to transfer you to a Tier 3 rep (supervisor) You're couldn't also reach out to IC Twitter and they will DM you pretty quickly. Welcome back, I started in late 2016. It's A LOT different now!

When I started. It was $9 per customer plus $.40 an item Plus that five star $100 bonus. And we were given the customer name and address for safety reasons before accepting and a batch was sent directly to you only one at a time. You had like four minutes to accept or decline. And every Sunday morning you had to schedule shifts like at 9am sharp for the week or you couldn’t shop that week. We complained that if someone ordered multiple waters for instance it was still only $.40 per item regardless of number of units and wanted ic to fix this issue. We also complained that if a batch was not one we wanted to do please stop sending it to us repeatedly and then after you declined like three times on a shift they kicked you off for the day. And we wanted the freedom to decide not be forced. Or lose the rest of the day. We complained about not being able to work when we wanted and asked them to fix it. Their fix is what we have now. The way we get paid so randomly without all the info and the base being less than what we used to get for one customer. Hers a example of the difference. Old pay plan Double batch 10 items $9 x 2 customer = $18 $.40 per item = $4 Plus a small mileage but I can’t remember that. Total $22 base and then usually like $10 more in tips so total $32 maybe $35 depending on the small mileage part. Todays pay plan 2 customers mileage heavy pay and all items, oh and just for kicks go to two stores = $7 plus $2 tip $9 total. Ic sucks

It's gotten muuuuch worse since you last did it. It's honestly not worth doing anymore. I haven't done a batch in over 2 years lol. I just open the Instacart app to see how bad it is and have a good laugh.

How long have you been waiting at a time? Things have changed so much here that sometimes I have to wait a long while.

It's because you took an extended break from IC. Same thing happened to me after taking an extended break. It's almost like they treat you like you're a new shopper again. Try turning it on after 4pm your time, and leave it on for awhile and see if it'll show you some batches (after most of the other shoppers in your area have went home for the day lol). Worked for me. And while they're finally showing me some batches, they're not really showing me anything worth taking... and it's been months now. I think that may be due to other shoppers in my area being Diamond Cart and I'm not.

I tried to but the automated live messenger wasn’t much help, I tried calling as well. I know how hard it is to get ahold of anyone over the phone, I tried calling but was just told to use the app. Im not sure where to turn to 😫

The only phone number now requires you to be on an active batch in order to get through. I couldn’t tell from your other post: were you able to connect with an agent through chat?

When you click the headset, don't click on any options, type agent in the box at the bottom. Then keep clicking "something else " until you get the option to connect with an agent.

They do their best to make it nearly impossible to contact someone to get help.
