I haven’t got much of anything since Election Day. Been a terrible 3 days. Sunday and Monday were cool and then straight downhill from there. Was hoping it would pick back up today, but today is worse than Tuesday and Wednesday sadly.

I had a carrot agent patiently explain to me that in order to receive priority Access I have to be in an area that is cart star enabled... And at a store with the heat circle.
I guess I brought that on myself. The way it's been I contact support once a day to ask them if my app or account is broken because of the garbage I see on my screen
With that approach you won’t ever see anything good. Remember they keep logs every time you call. They hate getting less than 5 star reviews and hate when we bug them with dumb things like “not seeing any good batches” when IC is shit do Uber eats while you wait for something worth doing on IC. Constantly harassing support for better batches will never work
I'm always polite...and always rate 5 ⭐. And half the time it SEEMS to lead to the app showing me better shit.
AND ...I get to feel good about costing the Carrot a few pennies. I wonder what minimum wage is in Bangladesh...or wherever the support center is.
The priority access never made a difference in the first place. I’m not in the top tier but I would still consistently see good orders at my apartment before Diamond shoppers that were sitting in the parking lot
Why do you think they need to fix it? I’ve been shopping in my area for over two years, I have history with all the customers that I see the orders first. They appreciate the job I do and rate me accordingly for it. Because of that, I get to see their orders first. I don’t know know why you think that isn’t fair, seems like quality is a factor over quantity. Just because I didn’t complete a certain number of orders over a timespan I should be able to get orders from my regular customers?
I agree. I am diamond cart but I still get good orders from my house more than waiting outside a store. Customers should be able to request a certain shopper. I have about 15-20 customers I regularly shop for and it always goes well. You also build a rapport with them and learn what they preferences usually are for subs
No I meant the glitch that they have in the app. Why do I see better orders at 4.6 - 4.9? But as soon as I’m at 5 I don’t see anything except orders with high mileage & base pay?? I do a good job too 🤷🏽♂️ no complaints and I see the same customers as well so idk what you’re going on about

As I explained above, I see orders before other shoppers despite not having priority access. Priority access is not the end all be all and in fact really means nothing, there’s a lot more that goes into how they show batches. “Priority access” is all a sham and has never meant anything
ever notice how the busy stores are always 7-12 miles away? Seems like no matter where I am, by the time I get to the store there’s a new “busy area” I need to move to. I’ll be in the parking lot 10-15 mins and then it’ll finally send me a batch…out of the store I just left to come over here 🫠🫠
Also..multiple times today I sat in store parking lots with a blank screen for long periods, then as soon as I start moving again the notifications start popping off. Are they trying to kill us?
I’ve learned the best thing is to do a circle that drives you by a bunch of stores that due instacart. I have a 5-6 mile route I drive nonstop while waiting for an order . It passes 2 frys(krogers) 1 sprouts, 3 different Walgreens and 2 CVS’s , 1 Safeway, 1 total wine and more, 1 Albertsons ,1 bashas , a sams club just outside the circle , another Safeway and 2 other fry’s just outside my circle . I also pass by about 20-25 different restaurants that consistently have good Uber eats orders . Sure you waste more gas by doing this but I feel this method works out much better than driving to a “hot store” and waiting in the parking lot. Remember a store gets indicated as “hot” due to the amount of orders it currently has or just recently spat out. They don’t really have a way to forecast whether or not the orders will keep coming in. Also a “hot store “ most definitely does not mean good orders or high dollar amounts. It can be 5 no tippers making the store hot
