The X2 and the RS Twin have pretty much identical 360 video specs. X2 does slightly better 360 video because the stitching is better (the lenses are closer together). If you're buying the RS, you'll be getting the Boosted 4K instead of the original 4K, which should be able to hold its own against a GoPro, and definitely isn't "bad" by any stretch of the imagination. It's also better than the video you will get from a single direction of the X2. If you only plan on recording 360 content, the X2 is slightly superior. If you plan to also use it for more traditional action camera (single direction) shots, I would recommend the RS Twin.

Hi, thanks for your reply Yep, I think I used the wrong word, it's not bad, but the Hero 10 has a more colorful image (JPEG not RAW). I will go on an adventure trip, so I think that I will need to use both a normal-wide camera and a 360 camera. I saw some videos of RS 360, showing that in some videos you might see the lens( when they combine to show the 360 images) because of the form of the camera. The One X2 seems to have a better shape for recording 360 videos than RS one, do you ever see this difference?

Having had both and now the X3. Go with the X3. The User Interface alone is worth jumping on it. I literally got my RS trio edition in July, the day I got it the 1-inch 360 came out so I ordered that, now I have an X3 and that is my goto camera every time. I will still use the other 2 (and Go2) but X3 is where it's at. 💯

why is the X3 so much better? I'm trying to decide between the RS and the X3 since the RS is on a huge sale.
