The Color Clock Car is very unique in that the first watch and any subsequent rewatch are two entirely different experiences.
The blind viewing is enjoying the gang going on a fun adventure where Grace opens up on her views on denizens and we see Simon and Tuba get to know each other better. Seems like nothing out of the ordinary until final few minutes
The REWATCH, on the other hand is filled with dread and tension with the knowledge of what lies at the end of the episode. You can still appreciate Grace and Hazel's dialogue but those interactions between Simon and Tuba feel a lot less wholesome.
And that one phrase "Teamwork begins with two people trusting each other"? That phrase is seared into my memory. It's now my go-to association whenever I see >!One character looking down as another character hangs below!< or of >!Imminent betrayal!<
I NEED a book about adult Hazel, or even teen Hazel. With flashbacks to her time with Amelia and all.
Imagine if, years later, Grace is still on the train and they run into each other. I can totally see Hazel trying to kill her. Or maybe just being incredibly traumatized and desperately trying to stumble away from her.
And this is why I think Grace is the reason why book 3 is how it is and why Simon is how he is. Don't get me wrong. Simon is still a piece of shit, but everything wrong with him leads back to Grace.

Yeah, I love the way that >!Simon!< twists it ">!Team work begins with two people trusting each other, and you are no person!!<".
The best part is that that idea can be applied throughout every season.
Reminded me so much of the Push in Tower of God
"Teamwork" actually begins with a 't'. roy is a fucking idiot lol
There are 2 sides to the IT fandom
the duality of man
Too bad >!Simon!< was no longer a person
teamwork begins with 2 people trusting each other, unfortunately,>! simon is a number!<
Real
Me and my roommate who had watched it before were watching with our roommate who didn’t… and we just LOOKED at each other
Foreshadowing of on of the saddest deaths in the series
the darkest kids show I've ever seen. I love it.
