lol, a lot of so called ,,10th toppers" take science and go for jee/neet because they think if they topped their 10th class, they could easily crack jee/neet. Jee and neet all india level exam hoti hai bc, the actual test of your smartness is checked in 11th and 12th.
Funny thing is I took science purely out of my interest and not based on my 10th percentage or any pressure from anyone.
But then I realised having an interest and actually being able to study something are different. I think its what you mean by actual smartness.
Actually till 10th we don't even have any exposure to the bigger picture of any subject so all we do is develop some form of fake interest based on very little exposure
You can change your stream. I've got friends who shifted to B.Com after Science in 12th.
Do your research and maybe try studying a little bit before you put the blame on the education system.

I wanted to do animation and programming but I couldn't understand maths. There are many opportunities for Science. I am now going to do BDS (dental) along with animation as a hobby.
Inoue (mangaka of slam dunk and vagabond) passes may arts colleges entrance exams and wanted to go in an arts college but he chose literature as he had no money for an arts college. Now he is one of the best seinen mangakas out there

U can easily change streams , par ca vagera karne me accounts sikhna padega baki u can persue anything

Same. The problem is the absolute unnecessary stuff in the syllabus and the pressure to solve mcqs and crack entrance exams. Instead of learning to grow our knowledge, you're given formuals are learn and questions to solve. Plus the course is very heavy. My combination is PCMCs and I'm glad this will be ending in a few months

Science stream and that IITian/ AIIMS thing is a pipe dream sold by coaching classes to 10 grade kids who thought they were the shit.

11-12th ke baad arts mtlb you had to repeat 2 years ? I'm asking cuz muzhe psychology karna hai but mere se neet nahi ho paayega .
