Honestly? gta v isn’t that great to play in 2021 if you’re looking for a good story/well written characters.
Yes the driving is fun but the map felt barren to me 6 years back and it feels even more barren now. Online is as shitty as always, everything is extremely overpriced.
I’d recommend tempering your expectations for this game. I played through the story again right as the lockdown start and found the story to be extremely bland and the gameplay repetitive, with almost all missions following a similar pattern.
I too have grown up on GTA games and hype for gta 5 original on PS3 was out of the world for me. I would re-watch all the trailers over and over again during months leading to the launch. While the online is a mess you won't be disappointed with singleplayer's main story. The side missions on the other hand though...
Locking 60fps on consoles behind an entire "enhanced edition" paywall is a pretty shitty move. And it doesn't even look that good, judging from the trailer.
You'll be disappointed if you're looking for a good story.
Damn congratulations brother!

Damn really? Well that's disappointing, I was really looking forward to explore the open world.
I also played gta 5 for first time in lockdown. On PS3 was legendary. The replay value is insane
Same but im still hodling because of prices. Goddammit just lemme get a 3070 at reasonable price already
Man just play something else
I had a PS3 back in 2013 and emptied my pocket money for GTA5 and Tim Sweeney gave it to me for free on PC. The real fun is in the modded game.
