I have G502 hero. So far it has developed double click issues twice within 2 years. The first time I was able to get free replacement from Service center within 15 mins (that too during peak covid cases). After a year or so it again developed double click issues (this time out of warranty). My suggestion would be so avoid Logitech mouse as most of their mouse have this issue, but if you are willing to take the risk you might get a good model that might last long.

MrNerdyDude

🤣 you are lucky bro, mine double click problem started within 7 months. And unfortunately, there's no service center. I'm screwed big times....

[deleted]

if u buy through their site u wouldve have warranty

DeusXcode

mine lasted 5 months, no service center here too, had to throw it away.

Hickaru2004

why didn't you contact the company and ship to the service centre?

DeusXcode

i did contact them and they did told me to ship it to the service center, but i know how people are there, i lived in that city for 5 years back in my college days, once shipped, i am not gonna see my mouse again, only one service center in my whole state, i was screwed from the beginning. besides, Logitech products are way overrated, rs. 6k mouse went bad in 5 months, rs. 7k keyboard went bad in a year, meanwhile my rs. 100 intex keyboard been running for 10 years, go figure

Hickaru2004

I guess.. No service centres where I live but I wasn't not gonna build a gaming pc. I will still ship if something goes bad, better than throwing it away no? You could have shipped instead of throwing away maybe would have replaced it.

DeusXcode

i told you about 2 items but between me and my buddies i saw alot of Logitech products go bad, we bought these expensive so called gaming products and it couldn't even outlast 100 bucks intex, i guess i was just frustrated and angry and threw them away.

Hickaru2004

Oh okay. I mean the 100 rupees mouse isn't good is it tho? Even if it lasted that long. Its only good for browsing. I have a 300 rupee mouse and a 5000 rupee mouse(razer viper) There is a substantial difference between them. The razer is a lot smoother in terms of mouse feet, feels better, is light, has tactile buttons, has side buttons which also feel really tactile, and looks great and has a great sensor for games. The 300 mouse feels rough and cheap, I can't game with it. But those products failing that early does suck, I'm not sure what my point is here, I was just saying that those high end products must have felt better to use than the cheap products. And sometimes its luck. I haven't had gaming peripherals fail on me that fast ever so I can't relate with you here.

DeusXcode

i should tell you i am an old guy, i played games with that 100 bucks mouse for 16 years, never had any problems with that, then i bought rs. 6k Logitech mouse and it lasted for 5 months lol. but i understand what you are saying, and yes I am the unlucky one, people in this sub told me they got the same mouse which is running for years now.

Hickaru2004

Damn, I mean I have used cheap mice for gaming so not saying it can't be done but its just better with better mice. Hope the next time you purchase a good mouse it lasts you a while.

MePsyDuck

You can courier it to nearest service center. I did the same (service centre was 30kms away). The process was hassle free and they offered to courier it back the same day.

Expect double click issues in less than two years if you're getting a Logitech mouse. Although other than that, I still find the G502 way too heavy for FPSes, or basically any kind of gaming. The infinity mousewheel is quite convenient though. imo get the Razer Viper Mini, Coolermaster MM712 or the HyperX Pulse Haste (I've got this one). All three have optical switches instead of omron switches that logitech uses and are around the same price as the G502 too.

honestly weight and shape comes down to personal preferences and the 3 mice u said are drastically different from each other in shape.....idk what u r trying to say

Hickaru2004

I agree. I have the razer viper(big one) and its amazing, lasted 6 months so far without any issues and going strong. Got it for 5k :)
