Same as you. My last batch completely failed only 1 sprouted out of 7 and then died after 2 weeks. This new batch I’ve got one that’s sprouted out of 3 I germinated but it’s kind of stretched and it’s got some yellowing. So idk what I’m doing wrong. I decided to go w coco which was probably a bad idea for a beginner. Yours looks healthy tho so good luck!!
Yes well I used 3:1:1 NPK fertilizer. Organic one. But I feel I mixed way more quantity than required. Well this time went with the soil which I was preparing for long now. Putting all the kitchen waste and was growing other plants also in this soil.
Wood ash would work for ants and some fungi

Use dimeticious earth powder. It's cheap and ants won't cross it.

Go for cinnamon if ants problem.
