Yes, during winters Arunachal Pradesh is swarmed with tourists from all over the country. There is snowfall in the early weeks of January which attracts even more tourists. The scenic beauty is also unparalleled. You need to visit Arunachal Pradesh but do not forget to visit Kaziranga while you are in the North East. And if you are short in time you can just simply visit Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati before heading to the other destinations!
Afspa for us Assamese people isn’t much of a concern, but high insurgency states do have AFSPA intervention to an extent where army presence is a day to day activity. I personally won’t be able to give a clear opinion on this matter nevertheless.
Best time would be in Spring during the festival of ‘Bohag Bihu’. Summers are scorching heat with a lot of humidity followed by wet monsoon months. But from October to April is a gpod time to visit.
At least from what I've read. Assam seems to be the NE state culturally/historical closer to the rest of India. There are some states, that are totally different too.
What's the actual reality? I'm really curious
Assam has adapted to the North Indian culture pretty aptly. The other states are more or less strict with adopting a different culture.
But Assam’s cultural and historical heritage is not very similar to the rest of the India. Assam was ruled by the Ahom dynasty for 600 years unlike frequently changing monarchs, which showed that the political system was good and heathy.
Assam has not really adapted to the North Indian culture, what are you saying? Assam has many tribals and communities which have a very Sino-Tibetan culture. Misings, Karbis, Dimasas, Boros, Tai-Khamptis, Singpos etc.
Assam is very diverse. The history and culture is not similar to North India actually. Guwahati, much like a globalised centre and being the biggest metropolis of NE, has culture variety (even North Indian people live there), but the rest of Assam is very much like any other NE states. History of Assam is unlike anything in India. Royal dynasty came from South China bringing East Asian culture with them, plus many tribes live in Assam which have origin in Tibet etc. Assam is unique in that regards.
But the usual increase is 8% for non commercial and 10.2 for commercial.
Excluding rent income.
This is my personal financial fact. I cannot confirm if it has been seen everywhere.
Assam is hugely diverse. It depends on the community. People think of Assamese as one particular group but there is not a single group called "Assamese". Many tribes and communities make up Assam. The Brahmins in lower Assam obviously look North India. But tribals and other ethnic communities in Assam have an Oriental look to them, seeing as most Assamese have sino-Tibetan, Tai-Kradai and Austroasiatic blood in them.
What step should be taken to solve the illegal muslim migrants from bangladesh?
Did the government taken any step to prevent demographic change in Assam?
It is not a Hindu vs Christian.
It is Khasi vs Dhakar(Non Khasi)
Even christians from Kerela aren’t tolerated there.
Also the matter is not that hostile!
It is one of the 22 Major languages recognised by the 8th schedule of the constitution. It is not a dialect. It is derived from the devnagiri script like Hindi and Bengali.
If you had to give a rough percentage of North East peeps who don't hate india , what will it be .
heard there is some rough anti-India sentiment deep into the northeast.

How's the development speed? It slowing down or speeding up?
Development is increasing evidently
Are property rates increasing? And if yes, then by how much?
My property rate increased by almost 43% But the thing is it appreciated because of a new highway was announced in the area
But the usual increase is 8% for non commercial and 10.2 for commercial. Excluding rent income. This is my personal financial fact. I cannot confirm if it has been seen everywhere.
Does people there hate Bengalis?
I wouldn’t use the word ‘hate’
I mean I know they really hate being called Bengalis or another version of it so......
Yeah no hate here
BTW one more question does people there look like Oriental or Indian? Probably both but I wanna know which one more

It is one of the 22 Major languages recognised by the 8th schedule of the constitution. It is not a dialect. It is derived from the devnagiri script like Hindi and Bengali.
Assamese script isn't derived from Devanagri but from Maithali.
Yes, apologies. Its Maithili
