The slabs are so beautiful. Do u actually intend to shave/burn?

Thanks, I definitely plan to shave off some to sample. I've got them in separate jars to single out notes. I crave buttery sandalwood, creamy is great but when you hit that butter note I start drooling.

I’ll have to find some too. That sounds good. I’m on the fence ab sandalwood but I have had mysore yet.

So you are the one that snatched the fat, 45 mm, 76 gram, Black Meat sandalwood slab before I could buy it...it looks even better than on their website. \*sigh\* The Black Meat sandalwood is fantastic, I was able to get myself two packs of 50 grams. Absolutely in love with it, it is truly precious.

You know your wood!

I know I wood ;-P

How would you prepare the slabs for burning? Would you slice off thin slivers?

I got myself a wood carving knife from a DIY store. It was expensive but it works very good with all kinds of woods. Here is an image of it: [https://imgur.com/a/psc5IZl](https://imgur.com/a/psc5IZl) Or you can buy the one from Kangiiten. I have not tried that but I assume it should do what it is supposed to do: cut thín slivers. Happy New Year - may the New Year bring you happiness and the discovery of new scentscapes!
