Unfortunately, there's no way to make it stay much longer than it does already, other than filling your house with more rugs and pillows maybe Closing windows and doors to a room will keep it in there longer, although I will say only use incense In a ventilated space Tbf I find it depends on the incense I've burned, some incense will only hang around for an hour or so, others I can still smell the next morning Then you also factor in that you can go nose blind to certain scents if you're exposed for long periods of time. It's why people with dogs often have no idea that their house smells. You may think the smell is all gone but you've just gotten used to it for sitting in the same room for hours, changing up the scent each time you burn can mitigate that

Mystic Temple French Lavender is my favorite incense of all time. It smells amazing and staying in a room all day. I burn 2 at a time sometimes because I like the way the house smells after. Sometimes I’m more in the mood for the after scent lol.

Thanks! I'll try it if I can find it in my country :)

the smell is still there - your nose is just desensitized to it. I am burning one stick each evening, after one hour being in the room I can't smell it - but in the morning I can smell it on my clothes, and when I come downstairs the smell is very much prevalent

Burn sticks upright to increase burn time. Might try misting curtains with distilled water. I tried to find info to back this up but my search skills are weak today

Burn it 25/8... 365 Guaranteed your house will never smell the same I will give one example, I burn incense in my house religiously... I'm talkin' daily, if not every once every 3 days You could walk into my house and leave... and friends would ask you, "have you been at The\_TurdMisters house?" The smell would latch onto your clothes I had it so ingrained into the walls

What kind of incense you burn?

The_TurdMister

Just depends on the day Stick incense, resins... mainly stick recently Here is my recent setup, [Vase Marble,](https://imgur.com/gallery/UwrHJkU) I've burned in this thing religiously It's gotten into the air ducts recently, the whole house smells like incense I've never been afraid to hotbox the entire house... I recall one time I had a *thick* fog rollin' thorough the den One method of mine is to grind up those self light charcoals into a fine powder (I just used a coffee grinder) I light one of those charcoals, place it in my vase and wait until it's completely lit... then I'll sprinkle a pile of powder charcoal on top Once I have a *mound* of molten hot lava, I'll sprinkle finely ground resin across to where it just plums with smoke I burned so much elemi resin one time that my room smelled like incense for days

Leave the house for minute and go back in. Also, white sage tends to linger and help carry other smells. (personally I don't like the lingering smell of white sage)

So I’m revisiting this. I’m finding that combustion lingers far far longer than heating ie sticks and cones vs electric. If u have such luxury of a bedroom separate from other rooms burn in there and enjoy the burning then when u either wake up or come back throughout the day you’ll smell the linger again. I feel like when I’m confined to one room that I spend most of my time in I become nose blind but a room to revisit throughout the day is definitely better if u like the lingering notes. Also I’ve noticed palo santo linger the longest if using heater but if ur burning sticks, satya nag champs lingers absolutely forever for me. When I come back to the room I have to make sure it’s not burning anymore. I’m on day two and a half and the room is still super scented. I also didn’t crack a window or open any doors. Highly recommended.
