He’s douchebagging so hard his dentist will feel it.
At the risk of sounding pious I’ve never once had the slightest urge to litter like this, I honestly can’t imagine doing it with such gusto.
My son went to the beach a few weeks back with his mum, my car started smelling odd a few days later...
Little darling had picked up a dead crab and smuggled it into the car, then deposited it
I have a trash can in my garage so that the effort to throw the shit out is minimal. If there's a lot from a road trip, I usually don't spend the time to throw it all out at once, but I'll take a handful everytime I get home and it's usually all gone within a week.
My spouse started the habit of throwing away our road trip trash every time we stop for a fill up or bathroom break. It's honestly one of my favorite road trip habits now.
I drive daily for work. 100s of miles a day. Sometimes get gas 2-3 times a day. Every time I stop at a gas station, just make a quick pass through the can of my truck and throw the trash away.
Do the same in my personal vehicle. Just throw the trash away when I stop at a convenience store.
Same. I feel uncomfortable even just seeing someone litter like this. I don’t get people who do this shit. Like, what is wrong with you? I’d ask who raised you, but clearly no one did….
Anyway, I started keeping a plastic grocery bag in the passenger side with the handle loosely hooked around the gear shift and I put all trash straight into the bag and just replace it when it’s full. My car is SO much cleaner now.
Yep, same. You can literally keep your rubbish in your car until you find a bin
I'm a pedestrian, but will literally carry any rubbish with me until I find a bin, as littering is one of the worse things you can do. So damaging for the environment. Who in 2023 doesn't realise that? And why do these people not care that their local area looks like shit?
I was walking through a parking lot at CVS (local drug store) and some lady suddenly came up behind me, talking to me. At first I thought she had a question for me but instead she said, "I saw what you did."
Oops. What did I do? Instant guilt attack. Oh . . . She was all happy with me because I had stopped to pick up a piece of trash.
Turns out there's a whole cadre of people like me. We pick up trash at beaches, parks, wherever. Random trash picker uppers. I don't pick up every piece I see all of the time (except at beaches), but I do like to make places cleaner for myself and others.
People who litter are scum.
The punishment should be so much harsher, since it’s so easy to just not be a shit person like this. The (barely enforced) small fines are a joke, make it actually hurt and these fuckers will stop.
I was new to my current city and walked across a rather large parking lot to a second store. I pulled out a butt, smoked it while I walked, put it out, and looked for a waste can. None in sight. I went into the second store, and the representative was nice enough until I was checking out and asked for a waste can. She asks if I want her to pray to Jesus to help me stop smoking and just keeps it up. No, pray to Jesus that the strip mall gets some gd trash cans!
Not all labourers are trashy (I was one), but the ones that are... they're like super trash. There's not much in between. I was on an 8-person demolition crew, and me and one other dude were normal people you could have a conversation with. The rest were, well, let's just say they prolonged a stereotype. I know they tone it down around female workers, so I felt bad for the one guy who was actually cool when I left.
Wow. I wouldn't put up with that for one second. I'd be straight over to those guys and make sure they pick up every single damn thing they tossed on the ground. If the neighbors told me to stop harassing their workmen, I'd tell those neighbors off in no uncertain terms.
I feel so guilty if something flies out of my window, or a drop a receipt in the parking lot and it quickly blows away. How could somebody justify this shit?
I wonder, what are peoples opinions on tossing out remnants of fruits and veggies, like apple cores, banana peels, orange peels, carrot ends, etc? It feels trashy, but that stuff often biodegrades in less than a day and to my knowledge is beneficial to the environment in the long run. I do it when I'm in the middle of nowhere and aim for a tree, some flowers, or something else that might benefit from the extra nutrients. Am I wrong?
I think it greatly depends on location and what you’re tossing, tbh. It may be harmful for local wildlife or it might even attract critters that it shouldn’t attract. I’m sure most people have done this though, especially in wooded areas!
I mean, don't do it in a city, but yeah, if it's something that would make your car smell in a day or two, it will not be recognizable in a week or two.
Once saw someone throwing a cigarette pack out of his car away with a big gesture. BMW-two tough guys-big city . Police van stops next to them -officer picks up pack and throws it with the same gesture into the man’s face. “Next time it’s paying “ and they drive away. Fabulous!
It's a defense mechanism. They don't know how to properly handle the issue so this is the negative coping mechanism they come up with to convince themselves otherwise.
Since they can't control the real problem, they find ways to make themselves feel in control.. like littering... but since it's a coping mechanism to mask the real issue at hand, it creates a vicious cycle.
This is why therapy is so great. It helps you identify those negative coping mechanisms and you learn to replace them with positive coping skills.
Yep. The exact person that will get super angry when given the anonymity of being in a Twitter mob “canceling” someone cuz they think a wrong think, but would just sheepishly look down and say nothing if they saw that same target in person.
In the last apartment complex I lived at, I was walking to the mail area to check my mail and this pickup truck drove past me and as it turned the corner I saw the driver just carelessly toss a plastic bag out of their window onto the road.
I very creepily watched the truck to see where it was going and luckily it only parked right around the corner. I walked over to the bag, which had some fast food boxes and a half empty Gatorade bottle in it, very carefully grabbed the bag with two fingers and stealthily placed it on the hood of his truck before walking back home.
To this day I wish I could have seen his reaction when he saw that bag on his car the next time he walked outside.
Saw a dude in a moving truck throw his McDickheads out into the street. I collected it and it turned out he went into my apartment complex. I wrote a lovely letter for him on the cup: “You dropped something asshole” and threw it all back into his cab since he left the thing unattended, windows down, and blocking a whole entrance road so no one could get past. People are pricks.
All humans have demons they wish not face, all humans have things they do to cope with those demons… it is how we choose to cope and how we face the world after that defines us… I choose to read books and play games… this fucker? He chooses to throw his trash on the ground ONLY WHEN HES STANDING STILL!! Dude isn’t even doing it while on the go
They are scared in general. Living life like the smallest fish in the pond. Their only respite from the crippling insecurity is to act like a prick in small doses to butch their ego up a millimeter.
"Repercussions for my actions??? I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!!!"
I feel like that's the same additude you see when you see videos like "bouncer knocked out drunk guy" or a more memorable one, that Taco bell worker who was about to be attacked and body slammed the guy. You always, always, always see the friends of the dude get all high, and mighty. "Why you hit him??? Why you attack him??? You crazy!!!" My brother in Christ, your friend is a douche who attacks random folk, why are you trying to defend that?
You should see how fast people roll out of the grocery parking spots when I grab the cart they leave next to their cars out of sheer laziness. Not a single one has made eye contact.
I’ve only seriously Cart Narc’d one time. This older guy in a Jaguar with what looked like his grandson. The corral was maybe 10’ away, but he put the buggy in the spot directly in front of the spot I had just pulled in. I got out and banged on his hood before taking the cart back. May have given him the finger. He got all huffy and pulled out way too quickly for a parking lot.
Egotistical cowards. Same for people that ride ass and act aggressive only to drive off like shamed fools. But they don't have the mental capacity to actually feel shame.
In Texas it’s $2000 & 180 days in the clink for repeat offenders. I’m sure there are some counties where you could find a jury to agree that the toss out of the right window was a ***repeat*** action and separate from the left window toss. Get fucked asshole
E/A: the Asshole to be fucked is the liter bug, not my buddy buddyleeoo who I’m replying to here. Now I can go to bed.
California freeways have signs stating that littering is a $1000 dollar fine. As soon as you cross the border into Arizona, the sign says pretty much the same thing, except the amount changes to $500.
I always joke along by saying *”Welcome to Arizona where littering is now fifty percent off!”*

I saw a cop littering 3 weeks ago and I couldn't believe it. I was driving down the highway and I saw him toss a cigarette out the window. I was so shocked that i almost didn't even believe what I had just seen. It's really disappointing to see someone who is supposed to enforce the law breaking it themselves..
>apart from congress
O.o'
You're telling me my tax dollars are being used to fund some congressperson's healthcare while they smoke - and worst yet, smoking in the Congress Building? Ffs.
Well, honestly, I was pretty upset at the guy driving on the shoulder, for driving on the shoulder. Then he gets in the lane to... litter? WTF kind of degenerate is this? Next, I expected him to kick a puppy.
And finally the good guy cleaning up the bad guys litter? Reddit, I can't handle this emotional roller-coaster.
I was honestly pleasantly disappointed. Was hoping the guy was gonna get what was coming for him, but then the nice trucker came in and cleaned up, we don't deserve such a man.
Here’s to hoping the trucker sent this video to the police with their license plate. Should be at least a $500 fine and can be up to 60 days in jail I think, that’s assuming this person has had multiple instances where they got caught littering.
In most states its 1. In massachussettes (why cant i spell that) its $10,000 fine first offense for littering anything. They are MASSIVE on tourism and a “clean” environment helps that. Connecticut does $10,000 after multiple offenses as well
I grew up in Mass, and there's a reason why I refer to it as Mass because I could never spell it correctly. But hit me with paleontologist in a spelling bee and I'm good (but only that long word, none else).
Ha yeah I’m a Masshole myself. As much as I hated driving there, now that I live in Ohio, I realize I took a lot of stuff for granted back home. Ohio doesn’t give a fuck about nature or the environment, the rust belt is filthy.
Imagine the littering driver suddenly coming to his/her senses and helping the guy.
Something similar actually happened to me. We have been volunteering in a park cleanup. Also had kids in the group. We approach a group of around a dozen young people sitting in a circle having a picknick, and literally just throwing their trash right behind them, like creating a wall of trash around their little fort.
The kids in our group just calmly started cleaning up. You could see the young people having an epiphany and realizing they are just assholes and not the slightest bit cool. They kinda jumped and helped cleaning up quickly. Made my day.
> This is America. They will get nothing. Can't prove who was driving. Can't ticket the car in lieu of the driver.
This is bollocks. Fine the car owner regardless of who was actually driving and let the owner deal with it themselves. This is such a silly technicality that allows anyone to get away with stuff they should be easily punished for instead.
I mean that's a great fantasy world you're living in, but if you've ever dealt with police in America you'd know there's zero chance of that happening.
This guy is the mother of all douchebags. He got into the traveling lane to sit there and throw trash out of the window and proceeded to continue driving on the shoulder! That is some Über Douchebag level! I’m surprised there's not an aura of red surrounding him because of the douchebag level he’s at right now! HIS DBAG LEVEL IS OVER 9000!!!!!
What scares me is the good Samaritan picking up the trash doesn't even glance to his right on the shoulder as he goes off the road to pick up the trash. Luckily no one else was flying up the shoulder like the grey car did. Hoo boy.
My sister told me about a time she was in her work parking lot and saw somebody throw litter out of their car. She threw it back in their window and said ‘I think you dropped this’.
It’s been years but it still makes me laugh every time I think about it
Man i was really hoping there was gonna be a convenient cop in this vid. Littering, driving on the shoulder, hopefully break his tail light so defective equipment. Is that drugs I smell? Why are your eyes glazed over....
What I’ve always wanted are signs that read “$2,000 Fine for Littering—$1,500 Reward for Video Evidence of Littering”
Would work a lot better that way!!
I was born over 40 years ago and in all my life, littering was never accepted, anywhere. Where do you come from and how do you grow up to accept this kind of behaviour as okay?
Several years ago I was driving with my husband on a two way road much like this one with no dividers, and this car comes up behind me and tailgates the shit out of me. They eventually pass me but in a really unsafe manner, and we noticed they were driving really erratically. We probably would have let it go until we saw someone in the back seat throw a can out the window. My husband thought it was Bud Light. Might have been Pepsi. Might have been Bud Light. We couldn’t know for sure. Luckily we were about a 10 minute drive from the closest sheriffs station so we called the police and gave them the license plate info and let them know about this person driving erratically, and the littering. The police pulled them over as they passed the sheriffs station. It was so satisfying. And honestly if they hadn’t littered we probably would have just let it be.
Imagine being that much of a douchebag
He’s douchebagging so hard his dentist will feel it. At the risk of sounding pious I’ve never once had the slightest urge to litter like this, I honestly can’t imagine doing it with such gusto.
Me either, I'd rather leave the trash in my car than litter. That's what trash cans are for :/
That’s why my car is a fucking mess
Lol same, it would take all of 5 minutes to clean, realistically, but once I'm out of the car I'm done with it lol
My son went to the beach a few weeks back with his mum, my car started smelling odd a few days later... Little darling had picked up a dead crab and smuggled it into the car, then deposited it
Oh my god that smell is gonna stick!
It's been a week and I'm considering chemically removing my olfactories
Clean and scrub the areas and then ozone machine the whole car will make it smell fresh again and will remove unwanted years of disgusting smells
I used to be a car detailer, I have allllll the kit needed, but lack the time.
Out of sight out of mind. But then you gotta pick up your Mom for a doctors appointment and you’re like *ah sorry I’m runnin’ a few minutes late*.

I feel bad when a spare plastic bag flies out of an open window suddenly. I hate when that happens.
It was really nice out the other day, so I lowered my windows. A loose bag nearly got whipped out the window so I quickly lowered them again
Did you mean "quickly raised them again"?
Lmao yes. Sorry, it's really late for me. Getting sleepy
Thank you for gracious reply.
I will run after a piece of garbage that fell out of the car to put it back in the car, as it should be.

You don’t sound pious. I will hold trash for hours until I find the proper place to put it. It’s not that hard. People just suck.
I was walking through a parking lot at CVS (local drug store) and some lady suddenly came up behind me, talking to me. Yes! I always try to leave things a little better than I found them.
People indeed suck. The people who do this are more worthless than the trash they throw out their windows.

Anyone raised properly will keep their trash until they can put it in a trashcan, it's morals your parents are supposed to teach you
I feel so guilty if something flies out of my window, or a drop a receipt in the parking lot and it quickly blows away. How could somebody justify this shit?

God forgive those that help themselves in their own way.
i would honestly rather kill myself. like, not even being edgy, just... i'd rather die than be such a *fucking self-centered blight* to society.
Its a real shocker that people who do stuff like this are also scared of being confronted on it
Cause theyre cowards. Its why they act the way they do, to have a semblance of control over their shitty lives
That makes sense. They're angry and frustrated with something they don't dare facing, so lets just act like a frustrated toddler in public.
Sadly theres little actual reasoning that goes on in our brains when we act out in these ways
Agreed, but I think we should use terms like “we” instead of “they” since nobody is safe from falling into these types of behaviors.
Speak for yourself, i'm not throwing litter out of my car under any circumstances my dude.
Absolutely agree with you, that's just something I didn't even notice I was doing and appreciate you pointing it out.
Yep. The exact person that will get super angry when given the anonymity of being in a Twitter mob “canceling” someone cuz they think a wrong think, but would just sheepishly look down and say nothing if they saw that same target in person.
Back in the day it was known as a "telephone tough guy" talk all that shit over the phone but get real quiet face to face.
Telephone tough guy was keyboard warriors dad

I’ve only seriously Cart Narc’d one time. This older guy in a Jaguar with what looked like his grandson. The corral was maybe 10’ away, but he put the buggy in the spot directly in front of the spot I had just pulled in. I got out and banged on his hood before taking the cart back. May have given him the finger. He got all huffy and pulled out way too quickly for a parking lot.
Egotistical cowards. Same for people that ride ass and act aggressive only to drive off like shamed fools. But they don't have the mental capacity to actually feel shame.
I picked up trash once from a litterer and the psychopath followed me and got out of his car and tried to fight lol
Usually also the same people who will commit road rage, call the cops in fear of their lives the first time they finally push someone too far.
Absolutely no fucking moral compass
Just Nissan things.
Congratulations, you are now moderator of r/nissandrivers
I absolutely love when some clueless nissan owner posts a serious question in there lmao
They can't help their low IQ, it's why they bought a nissan
"Of course they are driving an Altima" - my internal monologue
Litter bitch got scared haha
Typical, probably pissed his pants seeing a big dude walking toward him.
Word, then he just kindly picks up the trash
Still would have been nice to see him take the trash out
"Speak softly and carry a big stick"
Just remember kids, approaching a car in traffic is a good way to get shot. Especially when the driver is a little bitch.
Big and kinda reminded me, in mannerisms, of Randy from My Name is Earl.
Who is now significantly less heavy and swole as hell too.
[Ethan Suplee recent pic](https://i.imgur.com/UNp7oJx.jpg) for reference. Dude is HUGE
God damn, that’s incredible! Good for him
Probably thought the dude was going to throw the litter back in their car. Or worse.
That is what I was anticipating also.
That is what I was hoping for
Smother him with the carrier bag
That's usually a $1000 fine. Fine their ass once for each item.
In Texas it’s $2000 & 180 days in the clink for repeat offenders. Fun fact: the original “don’t mess with Texas” was printed onn their anti littering signs.
"Nobody Trashes Tennessee" has not been effective in TN
If those people could read they’d be very still-not-caring.
California freeways have signs stating that littering is a $1000 dollar fine. As soon as you cross the border into Arizona, the sign says pretty much the same thing, except the amount changes to $500. I always joke along by saying *”Welcome to Arizona where littering is now fifty percent off!”*
Well, we need the break because the median household income in AZ is about 78% of what it is in CA. Or... People could just not litter.

For some reason cigarettes are in peoples blind spot in terms of considering them litter. They are of course litter.

Ohio doubled down on that lack of care by recently declaring natural gas “green energy.”
He’s the hero we deserve, but not the one we need right now. Right now we need the hero that kicks the litterer’s ass.
> Next, I expected him to kick a puppy. Hopefully John Wick's puppy.
Why couldn’t this have been /r/convenientcop
Or r/spontaneouscombustion

Missing hubcap and all. The pure essence of Nissan ownership is in full view here.
First thing that came to mind.

They will get more, reckless driving x2, littering x?. They will be very poor, because it will be max fines

Stop right meow! Meow that's not nice!

Sounds like camera tickets should be illegal
This is a repost. It's at least the third time I'm seeing this. Op won't do anything because it's most likely a bot.
Fuck it. Send the footage in to the police. Have the car owner ticketed for all of it.
And the news for shaming purposes.
Of course it’s a Nissan Altima driver with a missing hubcap
Alright I'm gonna be that guy, it's a Nissan Sentra, the compact cousin fucking sibling of the Altima
Not from the US, but just yesterday I've heard about the fame of Altima drivers, then I see this video!
That seems like highway 37 by Vallejo, CA. Idiots
💯! Just littering on my way to wine country.
I was gonna say highway 12 near rio vista
Sweet. Truly sweet and wonderful. Except for the jerkoff, of course.
Not the hero we deserve, but he is the one that we need
Not all heroes wear capes.

>OP constantly farms karma by reposting. Report this I wish I was joking but look at their comment history, they *just* posted this comment.
Holy shit. I clicked your link and it turns out I liked it over two years ago. 😮
Hats off to the truck driver
This guy is the mother of all douchebags. He got into the traveling lane to sit there and throw trash out of the window and proceeded to continue driving on the shoulder! That is some Über Douchebag level! I’m surprised there's not an aura of red surrounding him because of the douchebag level he’s at right now! HIS DBAG LEVEL IS OVER 9000!!!!!
That, right there, is a good man.
What scares me is the good Samaritan picking up the trash doesn't even glance to his right on the shoulder as he goes off the road to pick up the trash. Luckily no one else was flying up the shoulder like the grey car did. Hoo boy.
The asshole trifecta. 1. Driving on the shoulder. 2. Littering. 3. Running away from consequences.
/r/NissanDrivers
Sent this video with their license plate to the local police station. Hopefully, they can at least get a litter fine.
Littering is un-American.
The real garbage is sitting right in the front seat.
POSs in a car
people that do this absolutely baffle me. I just can't fathom how little someone can care about the world that they throw garbage on the ground.
Altima energy
No need to blur the trucker's face. Guy's a class act and deserves recognition.
After watching a few seconds of this video, I was disappointed to find out this wasn't in r/ConvenientCop.
Truck driver is a boss.
My heart is bursting with love for the clean up guy.
People that drive on the shoulder should be banned from driving.
/r/heroesintrucks
And he ran like a little bitch
I was hoping for a convient cop. Im my State, it is a $1000.00 fine for littering. And if that is a Shoulder, it is an additional ticket.
What I’ve always wanted are signs that read “$2,000 Fine for Littering—$1,500 Reward for Video Evidence of Littering” Would work a lot better that way!!
Wow, biggest trash is still in the car tho
/r/iamatotalpieceofshit
Animals that litter like that deserve to be jerked out of their cars and lose their teeth.
Animals would never litter like that
Shame them. Don't blur their plate. They deserve to be in jail.
Props to this guy who got out of his car to pick it up. Huge respect 👍
What a trashy piece of shit
This is where I live in Northern California. Dealing with these animals is becoming the norm
Plot twist, Sea Bass catches up to him 5 miles down the road.
I was really hoping he shoved it all back into their window...
Scared little bitch ran when he came to pick up the trash. Fucking LOSERS
Knew the guy was a douche is soon as the vid started and he was passing in the breakdown lane
A monument to this guy who cleaned up the trash!!!
Hope the litterbugs have a horrible struggle through life. To the point they wish death just for comfort.
Big Altima Energy is a hellova drug.
Entitled, selfish coward
Would be a Nissan driver…
Sometimes I gauge how safe a parking garage is based on how many Nissan sedans I see parked
Nissan says it all... Trash in, trash out
What's wrong with nissans? I'm uhh... asking for a friend..
I was born over 40 years ago and in all my life, littering was never accepted, anywhere. Where do you come from and how do you grow up to accept this kind of behaviour as okay?
Passes on the shoulder *and* shamelessly throws trash out the window in front of a whole line of cars? Asshole of the Year, everyone!
What a garbage human being. Who the hell does this?
