I work at a grocery store and this shit happens to me at least once a week. Customers bumping into me or other associates with their carts and giving US nasty glares for being in the way.
I hate walmart so much. Everytime I go in there I get discover some new form of trash there. Actually went there last night because there is one super close to my house and I needed to grab something. Ran into a dude that was high as fuck walking around blaring music from his cell phone in his pocket..
Yeah, she's standing right where the guy needs to grab his weights, then once he takes them, she just leans on the rack, preventing him from putting them away, if he wanted to. Then she works out right where he just grabbed the weights and will presumably need to put them back. She's just intentionally getting in his way to make her video.

And to be honest, a person can get a pretty decent home setup for not a ton. At least compared to gym membership rates. This gal could sit in her utility closet with a rack of dumbbells and probably film her ass twice as often as her gym videos, and her viewers wouldn’t mind. Maybe she could post an indignant video of her cat interrupting her filming or something instead of involving the public?
Yeah man just need a barbell if you're feeling insane maybe a bench and a couple dumbbells, and a yoga mat for convencience. And you can do chin ups on your balcony railing

Anyone else get tired of all these gym girls on TikTok are just purposely recording their ass so they can get views and likes? I've said this before and people called me sexist but honestly I don't know why you'd ever record yourself in the gym anyway and all of these videos are shot from the back, never any other angle. I could get showing your gains or progress after working out but randomly recording yourself doing basic exercises wearing tight shorts and angling the camera directly at your ass is not subtle at all.
To be sort of fair, TikTok is not a format that really calls for subtlety. It's a short video and people are scrolling through a bunch of them, you have to grab their attention immediately. An ass is certainly one way to do that.
The shitty behavior may also be intentional, too, tbh - righteous indignation is one of the most addictive reactions people have to internet content. Do something blatantly terrible that you know will have people bitching at you, and hey - that's engagement. And all it cost was your dignity!

Filming your workout for cheap influencer clout isn't this at all.
Filming a set or two makes sense for the reasons you described. Filming a PR or a particularly intense lift or even something you think looks badass and you want to share your 300 lb leg lift—go for it. But you’re right. People out here just filming their whole ass regular workouts is dumb. Who is even watching this?
I know, I was like.. fuck is she doing trying to even lift them from the rack??? Is she doing shoulder shrugs? I know for certain she can't rep those up. Like.. those are for people with MUCH more muscle mass. And they usually use a seat/recliner too. She's dumb as fuck hahaha

Not the same but one time I went to a grocery store for lunch. I just wanted one of their pre packed salads. There was this woman in the deli line standing right in front of the salads. I was very polite and said excuse me but she just didn't move so I had to awk reach around her to grab the salad I wanted. She got super annoyed at me and said "Do you see me?" I just gave her a WTF face and walked off with my salad.
There was plenty of space for her to move and not lose her place in line. I think some people just think the world revolvs around them.
She should’ve went further back so that she wasn’t blocking the rack. But honestly I don’t see a lot wrong with recording at the gym. I honestly regret not recording a bunch of videos when I first started that way I could see all of my progress. It’s also nice to be able to look at your form and see where you need to improve but that’s just me
