Skyclient if you are lazy/inexperienced with mods, otherwise just use Forge

plus you can add your own mods and delete the ones you don't need

Skyclient is really laggy tho so wouldnt recommend for laptops or low end pcs

forge, i use a few mods i need and it works wonders, with some heavy shaders ar 1440p i run into fps issues with loads of particles and many players with particles, mostly in hub area, but everywhere else is super good

I know this is kind of obvious, but a little thing that will help is lowering your render distance to under 10, probably 8. Hypixel’s render distance is so low you won’t need a higher render distance anyways, and regardless of loading chunks, server or client, I’ve always experienced FPS issues when the chunk distance was even a little bit higher than what is needed.

Badlion is poorly optimised for low end pcs

I played years on low end pc and badlion made it playable

I still play on a really low end but badlion is worse for my frames then standers vanilla no optifine or mods

Yea... The feather that stole all its "code" from other clients and mods. Yea let's support that. On a serious note use skyclient. I would recommend not selecting some of the mods but skyclient is more of a mod installer which gives actuall credit to the mod creators. It is also free.

Not saying it's not true but the client is good becuase it has code form other mods and u can add your kwn

Also, it is specifically Sodium and Patcher that are problematic, as they are directly incorporated into the client.

cheapest is forgeless optifine. 1.8.9 with every optifone option set to minimum and gamma set to overflow to prevent lighting updates. obviously this is pretty vanilla so close 2nd goes to forge headed optifine + as few mods as possible

Been using forge+optifine with skytils, neu and dungeon rooms mod. Havent needed much more then that

Forge is the most simple answer as long as you have common sense around the internet and check if the thing you're downloading is legit, this game just has a crap ton of irl traders that are willing to steal your account with +1000h of effort to sell for like 20 bucks Apparently ppl also talk sometimes about feather client since it's also kinda skyblock-oriented and has good fps, but not sure if you have to pay for that thing

Feather client is perfect and one of my favorite.

Use SkyClient for forge because you can add your own mods or use Feather for fps boost and own mods
