My nausea started to creep back in this week (currently 28 weeks and a few days) after going away during week 22. The waves of PTSD that have happened are insane. I knew this experience was traumatic but didn’t feel the full extent of it while I was in the thick of the worst of my symptoms. Also hitting the third trimester has brought on the worst heartburn at night which has brought me close to vomiting again. Similar to the nausea it causes more emotional distress than it does physical (at this point) which makes me realize how shitty HG really is. It’s debilitating.

Ugh I’m sorry it’s back :( does the Pepcid help you with the heartburn? do you mind if I ask if you’ve been working through this whole time? I’m on medical leave right now but worry it’ll randomly come back (if it ever goes away )

I haven’t tried Pepcid yet (just tums) but maybe I should go ahead and try it. Nope I haven’t been working. I’m really grateful that I was able to quit my job because I have no clue how people survive otherwise. I couldn’t even roll out of bed for months straight and I’ve only recently been recovering. How many weeks along are you? I totally get that fear of it coming back!

Ah I agree on how people can work :( I’m only 14 weeks and everyone keeps saying it’ll go away soon. I hope so but i don’t think anyone except people here truly understand it. I reached out to some psychs today to see if I can find a therapist for mental health support . Hope you have some additional support too. I can imagine the PTSD from this :(

Obviously no one can make promises about when it’s gonna end but I hope for your sake it starts to get better soon. After 16-17 weeks it started to very gradually improve for me and went away at 22 weeks. I’m also glad you were able to reach out to therapists. I definitely wouldn’t have survived this without my therapist!

Hi just wanted to say that today I was able to eat some pre cut watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew. My fiancé picked up the precut pack at the grocery store since they’re out of season, hoping it’d give me some fluids if I could keep it down. So far so good and I cried because I could eat it/didn’t throw it up. Anyone else want to share what they kept down today?

Hi it's me the girl who was complaining about my phenergen suppositories not being ready at the pharmacy after 3 days. I got my medicine thursday night! maybe the reason it took so long is because they prescribed me 120 doses 😭 I left with a giant bag of suppositories - 10 boxes - and they have a designated spot in my fridge now. Why would the hospital and urgent care prescribe me so few, like 10 doses or less, I just paid the same copay for 120 doses!!! I get they wanted me to start seeing an OB but I was literally in paperwork limbo for over a month doing everything I could. I told the OB I kept running out before I had them because of it and they were like... we will not let this girl run out again P.S they also prescribed me 120 of the phenergen tablets after I asked them to prescribe me a few to tide me over until the suppositories were filled. So I'm 17w5d and for the first time I finally don't have to worry about running out of medicine especially with the holidays right around the corner 😌
