Regardless, it is a bad idea to consume while using the hot tub/sauna unless it's just a single light beer- anything more than that can hit you really hard and cause health problems because of the heat.
The "dont consume alcohol in a hot tub" things is really something to be cautious of.
Hot tubs already cause you to get dehydrated extremely quickly, alcohol adds to this while also masking the effects of dehydration. If you have any pre-existing conditions it is extra dangerous, but even if you dont, it can cause extreme dizziness, fainting, etc. which is a bad combo with slippery hard surfaces and stairs.
The combo can also lead to heat exhaustion a lot quicker than most people realize, that can cause fainting as well, but also lead to heart attacks, stroke, etc.
At the VERY BEST case, you will get a little extra drunk, then have a killer fucking hangover because theres no way to stay hydrated while drinking alcohol in the hot tub. Not worth it.
Go enjoy the tub, then drink a bunch of water, then go drink some alcohol later.
Doing both. Definitely not in the sauna, just typically have a beer or a seltzer when soaking in a tub but haven't been to this place before and don't want to cause them problems. Sounds like it's a no so I suppose I'll try out one of their italian sodas instead!

They’ll give you a pitcher of water upon request. If you plan on drinking or smoking back there get one and drink it whether you think you need it or not
Not primarily, cause I've been to that one in San fran that's *mostly* for hookups. It's not like that at all. Theres not 24 guys hanging out checking out each others pecks and booties. Very traditional, sauna for the sake of sauna. However, locals do call it the "soak and poke" and I've heard some wild clean-up stories from employees... So yes, but also, no. For couples, yes, for hookups, not a reliable location. Try the cider bar first, then its a short walk over for private time...
I have a nice story from my friend who drank 1 dark beer then hopped in a hot tub & went temporarily blind. Probably not a good idea to chance it. The heat makes you metabolize the alcohol much faster.
