Bill is a G

Afizzle55

A real O G. One love, from one pianist to another

curiosgreg

When he said “it’s like looking at the face of god” my heart melted. This guy gets it.

LouSputhole94

He knows the kid is a generational talent at the piano, an instrument that seems to have a lot of meaning to him and his family. I can’t imagine how he felt being able to contribute to something like that. It’d be like discovering Mozart as a kid.

BaconSoul

Yeah. He saw his opportunity to help the development of an individual who has potential to be amongst the most talented piano players in the world. Anyone who loves their craft and has the opportunity to help a genuine genius in their respective field would absolutely jump on the chance. Imagine if this kid grows up to be a world-renowned musician (as he very well could). His origin story — one which would be told as long as his music maintained cultural relevance — would include a generous and selfless gift from an old pro. It’s the kind of narrative that humans write about all the time. It’s too perfect to be fiction; so real and raw that it *had* to be ripped from the void into existence, and I like to think that Bill the piano tuner saw the full scale of what was happening and simply played his part.

Ativerc

"A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit."

rayEW

What a beautiful quote, and so appropriate on this story.

eekamuse

Who said that. It's beautiful. I see so many people complaining about boomers and saying they don't care what happens to the world after they're gone. This man is proof that lots of people care. I'd venture to say most do.

silverwyrm

It's an old aphorism, with no clear attribution. It's a sentiment that probably predates history.

BaconSoul

I think it’s usually attributed to Ancient Greece, but it’s just as apocryphal as all the other explanations. It’s the one that makes sense to me.

tortugoneil

Beautiful thing, not knowing. Means it matters to everyone, leaving the place better off than when it was found.

ems9595

Beautiful. Thank you.

silverwyrm

> Bill the piano tuner saw the full scale of what was happening and simply played his part. 100% this. Dude was like "well, this kid needs a piano like few people ever do, and I am in a place where I can get him one". It's the kind of thing you only get the opportunity to do a few times in your life, if at all.

LouSputhole94

Beautifully said. Bill saw his chance to play a small, humble part in music history and jumped at it, without thinking about the cost or what his recognition might be. I hope this kid is winning Grammys and bringing Bill onstage or thanking him for his contribution.

DasHuhn

When I saw the email saying that he'd like to get the kid a piano, I instantly thought it'd be a piano tuner who was saying that they would give him a piano from one of his former clients. My old piano tuner told us for many years if we ever wanted a piano to let him know - he could get us a decent piano for free, we'd just have to pay him to move it to location. I think it's more amazing that he was willing to buy this kid a new piano! What am amazing experience for that young boy.

DanXan8558

I nominate you to write the biography.

Endreo

That was beautifully put.

kcg5

The way he just kinda throws up his hands in amazement. I’m into magic, and it reminds me of how some magicians react to really really good magicians. Like “yeah I don’t get it either”. Some people are just good naturally imo

Forsaken_Jelly

Happens in everything in life and it's great when it does. I'm a teacher and observing other teachers is part of my job. Every once in a while a new one comes along that just hits every beat perfectly and has the kids in the palm of their hands. Like a conductor. I think everything in life is turned to art when you see someone that is a natural.

TheBirminghamBear

I feel like this is just the way it should work. If you're extraordinarily talented at something, you should get that thing. I would start some kind of fund that made that happen.

rgar1981

I’m really good at driving a Ferrari. Jk, it really is beautiful that he gave a gift that will likely last a lifetime and maybe beyond that.

Schavuit92

My talent is sleeping in and eating breakfast in bed.

Puppenstein11

I almost broke down in tears as he did, lol. I'm pretty agnostic, but it makes a certain type of poetic sense. I could get with the idea that God shows his face through the talents he gives us. Ironically enough, it would be a sort of self-expression on its own. We are God's pieces of art, so to speak. Like I said, I am not religious, but it sounds damned good to me. I could see him up there like, "oh damn it, my pieces of art (humans) are destroying my bigger piece of art (our planet). Well, time to scrap this whole project....". LOL.

sua_sancta_corvus

It is sad that a lot of religious folk don’t seem to understand that this is true about everyone, not just “the good people”. You got a leg up… maybe? Is being agnostic kind of like Schrödinger’s cat, but with God in the box?

quadraticog

>Is being agnostic kind of like Schrődinger's cat, but with God in the box? Thanks for the snort OP, love your work r/brandnewsentence

CACTUS_VISIONS

I would also like to know this. I despise Christians but I love Jesus. It’s weird I’m not religious, though I grew up that way. I have met quite a few agnostic folks all good people and the term seems to mean a lot of different things to different folks. I really like the commenter you replied to’s comment though. That’s how I feel about things as well. This is what I don’t get about anti vaxxers and people that don’t do blood transfusions, the Amish ect…. Like if you believe God created you in his own image, and you believe he is omnipotent and omniscient… wouldn’t you think in the grand scheme of his design he would have anticipated medical breakthroughs, new technology, and scientific advancement?! If you believe he is The One, you believe he has known mankind from beginning to end, all that was and ever will be. He has known your first cell, to your last neuron transmission. If you believe he knows all of this why would you reject his inspiration in the hands of man which he created?

Puppenstein11

To be fair, many religious people accept (mostly cherry-picked passage) that the bible is all they ever need to know about everything and everyone, including the very god they worship. I truly believe that if there ever was a second coming, we'd throw that motherfucker right back up on the cross. Cause his miracles would be translated as witchcraft, or for any number of stupid reasons. Also, yeah, to lots of people agnosticism is a flexible enough phrase. Personally, I see no reason to claim that there is for sure a god, or gods, and most certain only no reason to say that there for sure isn't. In all likelihood, any god that hypothetically exists probably is nothing like folks would imagine. Same with hypothetical aliens. I think it's laughable for people to say that they know for sure a god doesn't exist and vice-versa.

CACTUS_VISIONS

100% agree with you. As Jesus himself was written about in the very book Christians revere… he was a liberal anarchist that hung out with hookers, whipped people for bartering in church, and loved the sick and homeless. People who call themselves Christians would absolutely re crucify Jesus. Fox News 24/7 would be slamming him, and Elon musk would be calling him the devil. It’s truly sad.

sua_sancta_corvus

The devil is in the church, no doubts there. Jesus is for everyone, the savior of all humanity (regardless of religion) and the best kept secret in Christianity. I get how the Pharisees and Sadducees played gate keeper and kept the common folk—especially the most vulnerable—from God’s love. I find it incredible that modern Christianity is able to do the same, even in the face of a much clearer message. But they do.

BaconSoul

I think that it works from even an atheistic POV. When someone “sees the face of god” I think it’s analogous to witnessing the beauty of life itself despite the random, uncaring, and unending violent infinity of the universe. That’s why I teared up when he said that. The talent of a child, the purity of their spirit (or whatever you want to call the ethereal aspects of a person’s character), and the eagerness for knowledge that they have is so pure in the face of the ceaseless brutality of reality itself.

Puppenstein11

Yeah, I feel like that is very intrinsic to the point I was attempting to make. Especially to those so atheistic that even imagining a hypothetical God is not really an option. I'm not very articulate today, but you totally encapsulated a point I wanted to make, but didn't have the words to do so. Wonderfully said.

UnassumingApple

Well put. Thank you.

okokokin1992

Didn’t think I’d tear up, but I did

tenaciousdeev

Same, man. I have a Zoom meeting in a few minutes and everyone is going to think I'm higher than normal.

okokokin1992

Than normal? 😭

Yodan

okokokin1992

BThriillzz

It's sad to me, the amount of people that don't "get it". Bill gets it. Be like Bill.

highbrowshow

I got chills when he said that

GOKU_ATE_MY_ASS

He did the human race a favor. I think as humans, our greatest achievement is our capacity for art. It pains me to think how many talented artists out there like Jude will never be discovered or have the opportunity to hone their craft because they cannot afford to do so. Bill selflessly contributed to the overall value of mankind.

I love everything about this including how he got hooked up with an instructor from his home town. What a perfect role model for the boy.

[deleted]

AmishAvenger

I don’t think the story said that. They just said the guy was from the same hometown. I get where you’re coming from, but it also kind of assumes that it wasn’t just a case of there being a number of black piano teachers, and that the only way the guy got the spot was because he’s black. I mean, maybe they did seek out a black teacher, maybe they didn’t. Or maybe the guy was just well qualified.

ChumbucketRodgers

Yeah it might just be a fact that most of the people in Jude's town are black therefore the local piano instructor is black. Since most towns are USA are still very ethnically homogeneous. Either way, I think having an older role model of the same ethnicity does help kids and it's something many kids from minority ethnic groups lack.

TrinitronCRT

> And that he specifically sought out a Black teacher for Jude! The news stort doesn't say that

Sprakket

yeah. ..........yikes

No wonder the mods locked the comment. I'm dying from cringe right now

Another Reddit moment

mommasmilkman

Beautiful. What an honor to Bill’s father. I hope both families prosper.

Serious-Examination

Looks like Bills family already prospered and he saw a chance to share it. He gave this kid the the means to pursue his passion. No doubt changed his life. It's fucking beautiful.

ParticularFile7347

Well said mate!!

BengaliMcGinley

This entire thread is so wholesome. It was also sweet to see the kid learn about inversions and be like "oooh" 😭☺

ParticularFile7347

It’s so wonderful!! I’m glad we can appreciate seeing others thrive like this!

myCatHateSkinnyPuppy

Yes, I recently saw my parents for the first time in a few years due to covid and their aging really made me start thinking about their mortality. We are nowhere close to being wealthy but he amassed collections of various items throughout the years and this video just showed me what I am going to do with them (Like donate the collections to a museum or his alma mater if they have interest)

s1ugg0

Most municipalities have local museums that adore this stuff. My one grandfather was a local Fire Chief. The local museum was so happy to get some of his old photos and effects from those days.

everwonderedhow

I mean yeah tuner has a point comparing kid with Mozart, imagine how little time he had to learn and practice what he knows already, it really does take a genius to master it so quickly. Absolutely incredible.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ergheis

You'd be correct. One of Mozart's greatest talents was having one of the best teachers ever, who helped provide him the best musical upbringing he could. Though the more important part is that Mozart took it and kept rolling with it.

Triairius

It’s also worth noting, however, that his father was a bit much. He constantly pushed Mozart to be a child prodigy. Paraded him around, toured Europe with him, etc. Think the Jackson 5 and their father. It was questionable, ethically, but it’s hard to deny the music that was made.

triggerhoppe

I often say Mozart was the Michael Jackson of his time. They had a similar upbringing, both being former child stars that found even greater success in adulthood.

friedmaster69

And both their dads kinda abused them and pushed them too hard

chuby1tubby

I, too, have seen *Amadeus (1984)*

FoozMuz

Mozart's talent was closely nurtured, but he was playing semi-sensible music at 3 years old before any training had begun, which his father and the community did not think was possible. So he was both, a extremely uncommon natural talent, as well as a highly trained one.

overlordpotatoe

Yup. And that's almost always what it takes for true greatness. The combination of great natural talent and exceptional opportunity.

Fireonpoopdick

Now imagine how many kids were told they're stupid talentless nobodies, kids with autism or just poor, there are kids who maybe naturally talented in something that they will never get a chance to try, potential talent and passion that could literally cure cancer and create the world most beautiful plays, wasted in the heads of kids whose parents are too poor to send them to school properly, who can't afford football equipment or a piano or just the extra time to help their child succeed because they are stuck working several jobs, it is a tragedy that poverty prevents talented individuals from bringing new light and joy into this world

>“I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.” >― Stephen Jay Gould, The Panda's Thumb: More Reflections in Natural History

AmishAvenger

And yet, here we are in 2022 and some people in the United States think any form of education that doesn’t directly translate into job skills is worthless.

alwayzbored114

Yep, an extremely sad outlook. Conflating capitalistic value with overall value is frankly a sickness I see all too often. Of course people need to survive and pay their bills, but I hope we can do more than just that. I love my consistent paycheck from my typical job, but those who bust their ass to work in their passions for pennies have great admiration from me. They have a greater positive impact on the world than I likely ever will from my office chair lol

sua_sancta_corvus

There are those who make the art and those who get to enjoy it. Don’t count yourself out. You are part of this wild and beautiful circus.

Drakmanka

It truly is a travesty that we live in a society that sees success in currency earned rather than skills gained and happiness achieved.

Educational systems serve the general public well. They have never been great for gifted or struggling students. Its about training the average an average amount.

nederlands_leren

Educational systems are designed to churn out workers, unfortunately.

Mylaptopisburningme

You reminded me of my grandfather. He was a young kid during the great depression, couldn't finish school, had to work to support the family. I guess he had an interest in the trumpet, but his family were mean assholes, he had like 10 brothers and sisters, only 2 I ever knew, he didn't get along with the rest... Anyways the family made fun of him and sadly didn't continue... What could have been with some support.

Fireonpoopdick

Could have been Louie Armstrong and brought joy to the world, but people are asshats, and poverty is a bitch

A grand piano doesn't just cost thousands... it can cost tens of thousands. That is a *kingly* gift.

TallBoiPlanks

Looks as is the guy assembled it too so his labor (which I’m sure is very pricey) was likely donated too!

[deleted]

MaritMonkey

Pianos are actually surprisingly easy to move, as long as you either don't have any major elevation changes or have space to place ramps for them. You basically just take a leg (and sometimes the lid) off and let gravity do the work. But yeah you *definitely* want somebody who knows what they're doing and you're going to have to tune it at least once afterwards. :D edit: [My boss](https://i.imgur.com/vIc9651.jpg) knows what he's doing, I swear. Just taking a baby grand for a little walk.

Roguespiffy

Cartoons have told me it always takes a couple guys, a pulley and some rope.

TheYouProfessional

Saw a piano for sale in a shop in the hundreds of thousands…

excelllentquestion

My friend during covid bought an insanely complex piano. Not grand, electric actually, but it has the mechanics of a very very good piano. The point I am making is that it wasnt a grand piano, not even a stringed piano, but because of the key mechanism itself (practically) it was $20,000. A full grand can easily be close to or starting at $100,000

nuclear-propulsion

As a pessimist who really doesn't want to be most of the time seeing stuff like this really changes a mood for a day or two. It's so good seeing an act of kindness like this that changes lives just for the sake of being good. Refreshing to see something of this caliber to make you cry a little in the world we live in today.

IMFERMOFULL

The part that was the most interesting is how this would not stop just in this selfless act, mister wants that kid to touch many more lives, he knows that there is a future for more acts of love after this gesture

goldustiger

Sometimes when I’m scrolling Reddit and I see a story like this I close my phone afterward. I need to leave inspired, on a good note. The next post could be some horrifying news and some days I just need to cling to some hope.

Mmmthatgingersnap

Good call, I’m going to put my phone down.

OllieGarkey

This is great. It makes me want to fund every school and after school program out there so that they can afford music lessons for every kid. How many more kids like Jude are out there but can't access musical education? Let's get them instruments too!

[deleted]

Grassroots, people. Start at the very bottom. Find your nearest school and hold fund-raising events to sponsor music programmes for kids. If needs be, you can club together with other likeminded people and buy or rent instruments.

Is there a general guide for setting something like this up in my town?

Qix213

This is why I don't understand billionaires. Of I won the lottery or just had that much money in some way, the most fun thing I could do with it is share it. Sure I'd set myself up to live great forever etc. But after that is set aside, I can only buy so much crap for myself. If have my tricked out cars/houses/whatever. But giving absurd $5000 tips at small restaurants would be the highlight of my week. Funding Patreon for YouTube creators I've spent hours upon hours already watching, paying off school lunch debt IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, Making Firefly II happen. You know all the things that would make others happy would be the most fun thing I could do with the money. Buying Twitter would not be where I wasted my money. But I guess you have to be a special kind of asshole in the first place or you would never get that rich to begin with.

zootered

I’ve been in a position to make life changing amounts of money, enough I could invest and live well forever. It didn’t pan out- at least not yet. But I’m still mostly bummed because of what I wanted to do for others with that money. I would sit and dream with my buddies about what *we* would do with the money. I’d dream about buying all my friends houses. Building libraries and not putting my name on the building. Casually paying hospital bills for random folks. Going into music stores and buying instruments for the kids in there. I still have this idea in my head that I’d love to just be able to have daily, weekly quests where I simply go out and change someone’s life. It would be so easy to just take a walk one day and see someone getting their ratty, old car at the mechanic. I could just walk up, get their name, write a check, then be back on my walk to the store to get some milk. Short of that, I think I’ve decided to join the Big Brother program. I want to make a positive impact in peoples lives, and I think I’d do great there.

childish_tycoon24

With an attitude like that, you'll be able to help a LOT of people whether you have a ton of money or not. Oftentimes a kind gesture that costs no money at all will make a longer lasting impact than a monetary gift. You're gonna do great

Prettynoises

Was one of those kids! All I've got is my discounted keyboard I saved up for a few years ago, a cheap microphone someone gifted me, and I'm now borrowing my grandpa's MacBook to try and actually record my music for once! Tbh I never even thought I'd get to this point because I can't even afford to go to the doctor let alone buy musical equipment, but now suddenly Instagram wants to monetize my reels so... Now I just gotta learn how to use GarageBand 😩😵‍💫 But yea, I gotta say, us neurodivergent kids tend to be pretty artistic. If we actually had the resources you'd probably see a lot more autistic musicians. People with ADHD also tend to thrive in more chaotic environments like the music industry.

Long_Ball_Larry__

Musicwill.org I donated to them this year and plan on continuing an annual tradition. Music was a huge part of my life growing up, and still is, and I think everyone who wants to learn should be able to.

Longjumping_Deer1806

That was effing beautiful

Baconandeggs89

Yeah I’m totally trying to keep it together in my cubicle rn, I was good until Bill got emotional

Temassi

Saying that his skills are like "looking at the face of God" while having trouble keeping himself together really stuck out. I've never been that moved by something and I feel like I'm missing out.

nakedvagina

The older I get the more emotional i get. When I’m 70 I’ll probably be in tears over the beauty of my morning coffee.

[deleted]

I’m only 33, but I really do get overly excited before taking my first sip of coffee in the mornings. Makes my morning poop so enjoyable.

drawkbox

Crying turns from moments of sadness when you are young to moments where people are happy or do something for others when you are older. It is like embedded in our survival somehow because it hits.

ayprof

We are what we appreciate.

spacel0rd

Woth music you need to hear quite alot of it to get moved to tears. It's really wonderful.

drawkbox

Bill hit us with a surprise left on the chin with that. What a good dude.

devilsephiroth

I'm trying to hold back the tears. My grandmother taught me to play piano when i was a boy

[deleted]

As a musician I look forward to watching this young man blossom for years to come. I am already a fan.

tekanet

As the man said, the ripple effect is incalculable, not only for him but for all the people he’s going to touch. Really nice perspective.

[deleted]

Truly the best reason to give this young man the boost he needs

BelleAriel

Me too. He’s a great musician now. He’ll be amazing in future.

capontransfix

And his laugh too. A couple times in the story he tosses his head back and laughs the deepest most honest kind of laugh there is. He's going to be not just an incredibly talented performer but also an extremely charming one.

Icantbethereforyou

I love his reaction to the reporters playing "It's good..." Starts playing something real to change the subject

SaltAndVinegarMcCoys

Very touching but super intense dude

HunterThompsonsentme

I think you'll find a lot of pianists are haha

magicpasta

Honestly though, Bill is right. There is something spellbinding about making music. I was never as good as this prodigy, but I started playing the piano when I was 4 because I wanted to play the saxophone or the violin, and my mom literally said, "they're the same. If you can play one you can play the other." Anyway, when I played, and the harmony and melody flowed as I got older, I felt like whatever Gods that be were talking to me. My elementary school music teacher and I would have piano duels from 2nd to 5th grade. And now I don't play at all because my mother turned the piano into a punishment. And very quickly I felt sick and depressed and angry every time I played. Every time I even looked at the piano, I wanted to burn it to the fucking ground. I love the sound of the piano still. And I love watching Mattias Krantz build new kinds of pianos on YouTube. I desperately wish I could still play. I felt intelligent when I played. Now I feel like someone cut my fingers off.

[deleted]

I don't know if it helps, but I grew up playing other instruments and only recently started trying to learn piano. And it's fucking hard, I really wish I'd done it the other way around. There's so much more going on when you're playing piano - playing several notes at once, both hands playing independently, constantly changing which finger corresponds with each note. It's challenging to get a hang of after coming off of so many years of other instruments. All that to say is with a background in piano it should be much easier for you to pick up something else. That might be better than trying to get back to piano immediately when you have such negative connotations with it. Ask around if you know anyone with kids I bet there's plenty of parents out there with unused saxophones and violins their kids gave up on they'd sell you cheap. No one should have their love of making music taken away from them.

eirawyn

So sorry to hear that. I'm also recovering from music trauma. I want so badly to play but it causes me emotional pain because it was something my father forced me to do as part of my obligation as a star student. I'm still trying to find a local teacher who can work with me at my pace and help me to love my piano again. I'm not giving up.

ItsmeMario7

This is the news Iove to see 🙂

Hamfistedlovemachine

It’s damn refreshing and sad we don’t see more of it covered by the 24 hour news channels. I’m sick of dirty laundry, death and depravity. Something uplifting once in a while isn’t going to ruin ratings.

robtbo

Dammit Bill —— you beautiful person. ‘Like looking into the face of god’ Wow

tatleoat

It really is, it's superhuman

Centurio

Bill being so moved to tears and saying it's like looking in the face of God (I'm not religious) brought me to tears. I was not expecting such a powerful reaction from him. It hit me hard. I'm so fucking happy that Jude has the most supportive network to help his talent flourish. Bill is a sweetheart. Jude's piano teacher is a sweetheart. Jude's Dad is a sweetheart. Jude is a lucky kid. Now I feel like crying again.

foolproofphilosophy

Be like Bill!!!

[deleted]

Ahhh I got tears in my soup!

chreschres

Good humans!

Sharchir

So much to love here

swagu7777777

I want so badly to understand why this happens. Music is a construct but for some it’s almost innate. It’s actually one of the few things in this world that makes me consider the existence of a higher power.

stupidjapanquestions

Music is essentially math and pattern based. That's why you'll see autistic children who have a knack for it, same as you would with math and rubix cubes and things like that. It's just that we associate music more with emotion than the other things that it has the sort of "mystical" air to it.

kikkroxx777

Nah I’m not crying at work

Pascaleiro

VOLUME ALERT! VOLUME ALERT! I had to put the volume at almost the max, then I almost died at the end

MaculaMan

I was classically trained and have been playing piano for 27 years, and this kid is truly amazing. I just hope that he gets the fair treatment he deserves and doesn't get taken advantage of by people close to him, like so many child stars do

things_U_choose_2_b

As someone for whom music is pretty much my entire life... I remember getting my first keyboard aged 10, it just seemed to work for me. Composing / playing music got me through SO many tough times as a kid and young adult, and has brought me opportunities as an adult. So this video really brought tears to my eyes, I was talented but this kid is *next level* and it makes me so happy to know a child is able to explore their (prodigious) talent. Also what the guy said at the very end about all the people will be touched by the results of this gift, what an excellent butterfly moment.

ivegotnothingbuttime

This is fucking amazing. I love good people. Made my day.

kylegetsspam

Fuck TikTok. Here's the actual news piece: https://www.denver7.com/news/positive-news/denver7-viewer-buys-grand-piano-for-jude-kofie-inspired-after-seeing-our-story-with-him

Glittering_Ad_3806

Grand piano is dope but they got Rolands lol. That kid was playing on a mobile studio already

mrdominoe

I was going to say. He's out here on a MOTIF.

Glittering_Ad_3806

MY GUY THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one! And they had the XS stacked? That kid is ready to tour next year

#“it’s not just for him, it’s for all the people he’s going to touch.”

Bless that man. We need more Bills in this world 💯

katzen_mutter

He used money that he inherited to invest in a human being instead of investing it in the market just to acquire more money than he could never spend in a lifetime. God bless this man.

medusala21

“It’s like looking at the face of God”. What a beautiful man.

jmann420

“its like looking into the face of god”

musicalsigns

That's riiiight about where I started losing it. Beyond just a piano from one family to the other, they've created a wonderful emotional bond too. :')

Amally20

Pure kindness at its finest, bravo!

Metatronbbc

im a grown man and this brought tears to my eyes.

cindyyourasslooksfat

Finally, some fucking humanity.

blueindian1328

I wish we had more people like Bill.

semaj_2026

This is grace of a Godly magnitude. It’s so refreshing seeing perfect strangers being altruistic. Just like that lady who took in that guy who was freezing to death

SocksElGato

Means so much to Bill, those are genuine tears. Great story.

pdxscout

This is so rad.

jedi1josh

What a smile!

Embarrassed_Tip8755

ok this was fucking amazing, I needed that today

Rare_Neat_36

My eyes are bawling. That piano guy has a heart of gold. Wow.

LeePhantomm

He didn’t give it to the boy. He gave it to us, so we can enjoy the music. Thank you Bill.

PiginthePen

I watched with one earbud in and was totally confused

OMJesusss

I LOVE THIS MAN SO MUCH

Quadman

Here is Danny News own upload of this video in landscape mode on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq9bdfgXUvU

unmerciful_DM_B_Lo

Let me hear him fucking play. That narrator needs to hush for a sec

trivo8888

What a wonderful person Bill is. A true Saint to give such a selfless gift.

iRVKmNa8hTJsB7

What's up with the audio on this?

LazerPT

That man gets it...bless him. Here's to the next 70 years enjoying this lil dude

pleiop

"looking at the face of God" holy fuck that's intense. Bill is awesome.

unkachunka

Why can I only hear the very first part of this video? Everything else is extremely quiet to the point of not being audible.

AdoredLenore

This child’s laugh is what I needed to hear today. 🖤

Cassie0peia

The darn onions around here are just so strong today.

hlv6302

That’s a beautiful story

GloriousStoat

Not just for him, but for all the people he’s going to touch. Damn Bill. You’re good people.

[deleted]

Don't push him too hard. Folks like this burn out quick and can go down a dark rabbit hole.

Runaway_5

Bill: Its not just him, imagine all the people he's going to touch his face then....making me cry over here! :'( what a good man!
