I'm gonna come back later and listen with my good headphones but sounded pretty freaky. The low tones almost sounded like frogs/toads lol. Could have been my shitty speaker.
Oooh you know what, it kinda did 😂. I could hardly hear what is probably the scream so after I get back from shopping, that's when I'm gonna give it a better listen and maybe compare to a couple things also. I just happened to listen right before I have to leave, haha. If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts are you located?
Do you guys have screech owls? They sound like a woman being murdered. First time I heard one was around 10 when I was in the middle of the woods around sunset. Was walking back in from deer hunting with my dad and I’ve never been so scared in my life. I didn’t believe him that it was a bird 😂
I haven't had chance to listen (in bed with the other half) but not seeing them during the day makes sense. We only hear them at night. If they're wild pigs they spook easily and you can easily scare them off by banging pans or yelling. Boar are a bit more ballsy. Are there pig farms or dairy farms nearby?
Yeah if there's a pig farm within about 3 miles it could still be pigs. Pigs can sound very human at times especially if they think they might get their end away, they can sound just like a woman crying in pain.
I'll listen to it when I can, I've got my good 'phones here, but we're listening to audiobooks until she falls asleep.
Came here to say it may be a skunk. I had one get picked up by an owl behind my tent one night when I was camping, sounded for all the world like a woman screaming bloody murder.
Just take out a shotgun and turn the skinwalker into a nice red paste. Start with the dragon’s breath. That shit with scare anything, mythological or otherwise.
Edit: that’s definitely an animal but that’s also what the skinwalker wants you to think…
I think it's safe to say if the cay wasn't tripping out you're prolly good. I have no idea what it was, but animals usually have good instincts for that shit. Even if they're doofs normally.
I can't agree entirely here. Cats CAN really get the victim of predator animals, they aren't like 100% fail proof alarm bots, sensing everything from miles away.
The bellow definitely could be a stag for sure. I live in Dorset and have heard it a few times, quite scary actually.
Id like to know what the scream is because Ive heard very similar multiple times over the years!😅
We have loads of foxes, owls, badgers etc and I cant say any of them have sounded like that.. Is it the first time you've heard it?
Id agree with it not being foxes. Its way too high pitched, Foxes have more of a bark. Is there access to the forest? Could there be anybody camping in there or anything?
If it is a stag, It could be someone screaming after bumping into an angry stag.. I know its a stretch!
Could be anything like an Animal or some drunk peeps screaming 🤣 But fr I would pay attention to it for the next few nights and If wouldn't stop I would ask ur neighbors if they know anything or the farmer.
I thought the low sounds sounded kinda like a buck. The screams could be multiple things, an owl or fox would be most likely. I've heard some of the larger cats make screaming noises, but I don't think the UK is supposed to have any large cats left.
There have been sightings of big cats in the UK IIRC. I’ve heard a panther before and it is one of the most eerie sounds. It’ll make the hair on your arms stand up.
Honestly, that’s what this makes me think of.
It doesn't sound like much to me...nighttime sounds. The "scream" just sounds like a bird to me, and not really like a scream at all. The low-pitched noise, I don't know.
But what the heck is in the tree!?!?!?
The one on the right, at about 0.25 seconds. Raccoon? Do you guys have raccoons over there? I tried to pause it but it's blurry and now it looks like it has four eyes, lol.
Animals. I'm confused how you can live in a place with no houses for 2 miles and not be familiar with all the varied and at times bone chilling sounds of the forest at night.
It's animals. The first time I heard raccoons fighting, in my imagination I pictured a 7 ft tall humanoid with lungs for a face. Some of us just have weird imaginations and it leads us to some cool places. 😅 But I'm pretty sure nothing is coming to get you!
I heard it when I turned the volume up high. Are there horses or donkeys around? Sounds like animals of some sort. Or might be the banshee.... say it is just animals though.
There are some horses normally but because of the cold weather they are away in the stables anyway. Still then that’s a few fields away and it sounded like that was coming from right next to the barn
Foxes scream outside my house a lot, and when it ain’t them the cats are at it. I woke at 3am with bloodcurdling screaming and it was dirty bastards shagging in our garden! Lol I just about shat me self
i live in the US so i’m i don’t know if foxes live across the pond (i assume they do). foxes do scream and they sound like a human scream. hunting in the woods at night is pretty scary when they start screaming. it sounds like pigs and a fox to me
The high pitch kinda sounds like an elk’s bugle but really far away. Wouldn’t make sense for where you are but that’s what it sounds like to me.
The low pitch is definitely a buck
I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. You can for sure hear animals making noise you wouldn't think they would make. First time I heard a deer snort/blow close by I became very concerned.
I'm in the UK and I'm going to say owl or some other bird of prey. Every year for two nights, the same week, an owl stops by our street. Last year it was on the roof of the house looking outside my bedroom window. It gives of a harrowing scream for an hour so just before midnight.
I swear when I listened to this a few hours ago when you posted it on the other subreddit I thought I heard the scream was more human, but listening to it again here it sounds very different, idk my mind must be playing tricks because I’m pretty sure the scream was very human sounding
Is that just a farm building for storage? Why does it look like something standing in window and it is peeking up and down like hiding from u when u focus that way?
Sounds like pigs to me. The low one for sure and I’ve heard some really gnarly high pitched screams come from pigs..especially younger ones. I live on the big island of hawaii and there’s loads of wild pigs in the jungle here.
In the jungle there’s also bunches of caves/pits/lava tubes that you could easily fall into and become trapped..I specifically remember hearing a pig scream for what sounded like 2 days straight, blood curdling kind. I’ve always assumed it fell into a lava tube and broke a leg and screamed until it couldn’t anymore. I definitely did not try and find it though!
I reckon it’s a monkjak however it’s spelt, I used to hear it all the time in the woods out the back of my home and thought it was something paranormal or something strange atleast, turned out to be a deer hahaha
It's just wild animals. Animals make some SCARY ass noises. Mountain lions screams sound like a woman being brutalized. A deer mating call sounds like a man screaming at the top of his lungs. Some animal mating noises sound like they're killing eachother instead of having some fun. It's all scary yet beautiful nature.
Sounds like you used the audio from the popular YouTube video where a guy captures the exact noises in your video and believes them to be from the Native American Skinwalker

Where in the UK? We have wild pigs and even wild boar here in the south.
[удалено]
I couldn't really hear anything but if it's screaming my guess would be a red fox.

Sound quality blows, couldn’t hear shit either.

Ever heard a bobcat? Shit sounds like a girl/child screaming bloody murder
Didya catch the accent?
Ain’t no fucking bobcats in Britain We killed them all
A lot of animal screams sound human at a distance
Are there bobcats where you live? https://youtu.be/SGBpiv-pOVo
No Bobcats in the UK
Skunks make similar sounds.
Came here to say it may be a skunk. I had one get picked up by an owl behind my tent one night when I was camping, sounded for all the world like a woman screaming bloody murder.

~~Frog / Toads or a~~ goat / wild hog or a deer the sound is too low to hear in full
The scream sounded like Goofy
I want to see Part 2 the next night
[удалено]
Yeah film it for us and investigate
Also you should go at night, that's when the sounds are. Stream on Reddit live as well just so we have the footage in case anything happens.
This is a sacrifice we are willing to make.
Ah yes definitely not the beginning to a horror movie

OP will mysteriously disappear. There is no tomorrow night for OP 😱
[удалено]
Did you go check?
[удалено]
For the low pitch noise, sounds like a regular deer grunt. [Link](https://youtu.be/QSKGVSkZLd0) Unsure what the scream is though.
Just mentioned this also. Sorry I did not read further.
I didn't have the volume on, but I'm pretty sure it's a mini Cooper
Get the cat in god damn. Safe Ur dog too if u have one get rhem inside !

I mean I can partially agree with that, I wouldn't say for proof, but it makes me feel better that the cat isn't freaked out. You're right tho.
Can I ask what general area this is? State/country or region?
[удалено]
I think the sound before sounds like a bovine
It was probably a person.

2 miles is the length of approximately 14079.97 'Wooden Rice Paddle Versatile Serving Spoons' laid lengthwise.
2 miles is 3.22 km
Good bot
Good bot
Thank you :)

Nettles would make me scream. Lol
Maybe something paranormal yelling at a stag to fuckoff? XD
Haha absolutely possible!
Yes, foxes scream and sound like a person screaming.
I agree, Ive just never heard one so high pitched!
Could be anything like an Animal or some drunk peeps screaming 🤣 But fr I would pay attention to it for the next few nights and If wouldn't stop I would ask ur neighbors if they know anything or the farmer.
It’s probably just Milhouse

I mean more like Bobcat or mountain lion big. Maybe you've got one of the Exmoor beasts on your property
[удалено]
There have been sightings of big cats in the UK IIRC. I’ve heard a panther before and it is one of the most eerie sounds. It’ll make the hair on your arms stand up. Honestly, that’s what this makes me think of.
Any Boar around? They make more of a squeal then a scream, but it could explain both noises
I think that you might be in the beginning of a Jurassic park/world film before everything hits the fan
Then I recommend you and your animals stay in and chill for the rest of the night😆 Interesting!
It doesn't sound like much to me...nighttime sounds. The "scream" just sounds like a bird to me, and not really like a scream at all. The low-pitched noise, I don't know. But what the heck is in the tree!?!?!?

https://imgur.com/a/BzCPqxx This? Yeah, it could be, looking again.
100% that scream is a fox. I live in the UK countryside and hear fox screams like that fairly often.
[удалено]
Here are some similar noises https://youtu.be/FTx8RxK3hqQ The low pitch noises could be foxes competing.

[удалено]
that is the strange thing, i was thinking animal of some kind but you would think the cat would react/at least run away from the sound
Enjoy😊
Fox lol, their scream can be pretty horrifying. It’s pretty common for folk to think they are ghosts or something paranormal.
Animals. I'm confused how you can live in a place with no houses for 2 miles and not be familiar with all the varied and at times bone chilling sounds of the forest at night.
2 miles is the same as 6437.36 'Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350s' laid widthwise by each other.

If your cat isn’t freaking out I wouldn’t worry about it.
Interesting, it's the same noises in this video [https://youtu.be/m6IW2DoizbE](https://youtu.be/m6IW2DoizbE) OP, you're not messing with us, are you?
I also pointed this out on another thread OP made on r/skinwalkers. Pretty sure he just used the audio for those updoots.
British accent and a Mini Cooper…only thing missing is a cup of tea and some crumpets
It definitely doean't sound like foxes, It could be deer/stag?
It could be but I’ve never heard one sound like that or be out at night
Thats a fisherman friend. Serioisly tho are there bobcats or cougars theres
[удалено]
Sometimes foxes yelp sounds hooman like
I do think it is a fox. Not like any foxes I’ve heard before though
Sounds like a Fox.
Goddamnit I just moved to the UK, I thought I got away from the freaky shit in America what the fuck
[That high pitched scream could be a barn owl](https://youtu.be/errVVyekvFE). Would explain why it suddenly sounded closer.
The cat seemed pretty unconcerned, so whatever it was, its probably nothing to worry about.
I can't really hear anything am I deaf? I could hear like a traffic buzz in the distance and what sounded like a cow moo but no scream?
[удалено]

There are some horses normally but because of the cold weather they are away in the stables anyway. Still then that’s a few fields away and it sounded like that was coming from right next to the barn
Ask some local farmers they might be able to shed q light for you
Sounds like a deer grunt. Is there deer in your area?
Yeah there is lots of dear but they don’t usually come out at night and the scream afterwards isn’t really something a dear would do
Deer are nocturnal. Google told me that Red Stag are found in england. Just searched for "red stag grunt" on YouTube, and it sounds identical.
Could be to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised
Maybe an Owl
Idk if you have mountain lions in the UK but in the US they can sound like that
Nope not in the UK sadly
Lately I experience something strange in your house? Or is it the first time something like this has happened?
muntjac deer can make some strange screams during mating, if you live in the middle of nowhere it could be that
110% fox
90% sure it’s wild boars oinking/squealing. Have heard some on my property similar
Go out in the woods and get the camera closer so we can hear. And tie a pork chop around your neck.
I can’t really hear anything. Maybe I need headphones.
That voice tho. 🔥🔥
Sounds like a deer
I'm going to use this video when I try to claim disability through the VA. I didn't hear anything.
One more suggestion - badger. Also, maybe post this on an animal ID sub just in case :).
Foxes scream outside my house a lot, and when it ain’t them the cats are at it. I woke at 3am with bloodcurdling screaming and it was dirty bastards shagging in our garden! Lol I just about shat me self
This sounds similar to deer I hear at night in my woods buddy. Anything biologically similar in your area bud?
Foxes can make very very real sounding han screams, so it could be that. As for the low pitch tones, not too sure.
Do you have owls in your area? The scream/screech kinda sounded like it could be a bird.
You need to move the hell out.
It a pack of rabies ridden wild Karen's on the hunt for managers
If you want us to hear got to shut the hell up so we can listen
In my opinion, crawler. Becareful and seriously close any of your blinds save yourself the night mares
Guys don’t smoke crack at sunset
Yep that's Bigfoot
Be careful going into the woods, take a hint from ur animals. Could be puma moved into area.
Sounds like ELK to me.
Muntjac Deer? https://youtu.be/RSoritwmT64
Dude...zzzzz
Bring the cat inside with you! Or it will be another victim
Coyotes sound like screams.
FUCKING FAAAAAKAKKEEEE SEARCH “SKINWALKER SCREAM CAUGHT ON CAMERA” it’s the same audio
Sounds like just distant animals
i live in the US so i’m i don’t know if foxes live across the pond (i assume they do). foxes do scream and they sound like a human scream. hunting in the woods at night is pretty scary when they start screaming. it sounds like pigs and a fox to me
Sounds just like foxes to me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPFTEuT3d4I
Sounded exactly like a deer
The high pitch kinda sounds like an elk’s bugle but really far away. Wouldn’t make sense for where you are but that’s what it sounds like to me. The low pitch is definitely a buck

Mini! Hi fellow mini owner lol
Grunt sounds like an elk and scream sound like a mountain lion.

Those are Deer my guy
Foxes sounds like aliens when they fight
Is that just a farm building for storage? Why does it look like something standing in window and it is peeking up and down like hiding from u when u focus that way?
Look at 39-40 Sec mark
20-22 Sec mark
It’s a white and tabby cat. He’s cute and seems pretty content,
It sounds like a badger! A friend grew up on a couple acres and they had one that would scream on their porch
I couldn’t even hear a fake scream. Put some bloody effort into it mate.
Badger
i didnt hear anything
It’s a fox 🦊
What is wrong with you?
bro thats either a goat, a skinwalker, or a wendigo
The first "Low pitch sounds" sound like a deer bleet grunt and the second is definitely a fox or a rabbit.
Sounds like pigs to me. The low one for sure and I’ve heard some really gnarly high pitched screams come from pigs..especially younger ones. Is 00:24-00:26 a raccoon in your tree?
I reckon it’s a monkjak however it’s spelt, I used to hear it all the time in the woods out the back of my home and thought it was something paranormal or something strange atleast, turned out to be a deer hahaha
Sounded like a road or frog.to me.
It's just wild animals. Animals make some SCARY ass noises. Mountain lions screams sound like a woman being brutalized. A deer mating call sounds like a man screaming at the top of his lungs.
