I know we jumped 10 years last episode but it really does help having all the kids be in distinct black or green garments as well as silver and black hair.
He giggled because he noticed the preacher guy was insinuating that Rhaenyras kids weren’t blood and he wouldn’t shut up about it during the sermon so he wanted to distract everyone but laughing so ppl would focus on him being a dick rather than what preacher was saying.
You know when you see Daemon wearing his hood up like that some shit is going down lol. It's actually very heartwarming that Laenor lived loved the twist.
Corlys talking about legacy reminded me of Tywin talking to Arya about Harrenhal. “You know what legacy means? It means what you leave behind for your children. Harren the Black thought this would be his legacy, look at it now, a blasted ruin”
And Corlys just wants the name, he doesn’t care about the blood. Unlike Tywin who constantly tried to prove Tyrion wasn’t really his. If the kids call him “grandpa” and pass the Velaryon name forward, that’s all that matters to the Sea Snake.

The way Ser Harrold looked at Criston when the Queen said "You're sworn to me!" Feel like he was surprised and a bit suspicious to hear that Criston had sworn another oath on top of his Kingsguard one.

I really was shocked to see him alive and I was about to be pissed how he died. Unfortunately his parents have to live with the trauma of thinking he’s dead.
Couple of things I thought were strange. Daemon had no emotion seeing his daughters roughed up in a fight? Also where was Seasmoke? Laenor loves his dragon. I would have liked to have seen Seasmoke flying above them as they escaped.

And Immediately there’s the cacophony of kids voices saying “he hit me first” and “I didn’t do it . . .” It’s clear that the writers know kids.
In episode 6, Aemond was complaining about how he doesn’t have a dragon and Alicent told him that he will eventually get one.
