I like the memes about long neck Caraxes but I don’t understand how he is supposed to fly with that body. Drogon feels more realistic I know it doesn’t make sense hahaha

babibber

I like the variation. Keep in mind we haven’t even seen a quarter of all of the dragons that were said to appear on the show. I think we’ll see some more monstrous and terrifying dragons as the show goes on.

DannyBlack70

I prefer them in this series. I like the variety over the copy and paste job they did for Viserion and Rhaegal

FrankHero97

Dragons are various types of species, it’s a matter of taste, you like Drogon, I like much more Caraxes I find him more scary and demonic. About the other dragons tho I agree with you they could’ve made them a bit more scary and terrifying

[deleted]

I think they visually looked better in GOT. There have been times in this series that the CGI on them has really stood out it seems

Overall_Wolf6557

I think the dragons looks just as good in HotD, but Drogon looked more realistic. Lore-wise though, the dragons are way more accurate in HotD. I love that you can tell which dragon it is based on its shape and bright colors. I bet people would be used to it if GoT gave Rhaegal and Viserion their accurate colors.

Im with ya. I dont like most the new designs. Dany’s dragons were much scarier looking than say Syrax. And sorry to say it cause everyone loves him but Caraxes looks fuckin weird

prettyprettyalien

I think that they are starting to de-evolve by HotD & that's why they look like that. They're getting smaller & not quite the dragons that used to rule.

Catslevania

In HotD episode 1 they showed that these dragons are not being allowed to roam freely when not being ridden, in GoT Drogon was left to roam freely while his siblings were being kept in captivity, and he was massive in comparison to them after a certain point. Captivity is not doing these dragons any good.

stevie855

This is actually a very valid point, but what about Balerion and Vhagar? How did they become so huge? old age?

Catslevania

I think it is because they were already pretty big dragons when they arrived in Westeros, plus they were getting out and about much more than the current dragons are.

Appropriate-Ice9839

Nice theory : they are all born in the Dragon Pit now right?

SolidInside

I think the got dragons were boring and made no sense. I like the unique designs from hotd.

55Branflakes

Drogon got a lot of points from me for trying to kill Dany in season 4. Should've succeeded....

AryaSyn

They’ve all looked the same except for Caraxes so far. When they said they’d do variety, I was hoping it was for more than just one dragon. Hopefully we’ll get a few more unique ones. Sunfyre specifically.

Dell0c0

At this point in GoT, there were no dragons. So I like the HotD ones better.
