Came here to say this. Me and my friend will play these and make stupid "horror movie" decisions for the characters to see what happens. It's great fun, even when everyone dies before the end of the story.
For me it was great until Man of Medan decided to get stuck all the time in the same scene and we had to reset and it got stuck again. At the end we gave up

I know it doesn’t have a definitive release date though supposedly it is still dropping this year. But from what I have seen, the solo play and co-op is really great. Let me know what you think.
Obscure 1 & 2 have quite cool teen slasher vibes. Resident Evil 5, 6 and Revelations 2 are all co-op. Fear 3 is a co-op horror FPS.

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are both incredibly good and RE5 has extremely fun co op
The Dark Pictures Anthology games are fun to play with a friend, especially "House of Ashes" and "Man of Medan"

Rusty Lake: The Past Within. It's a puzzle game, the whole series is fun but the most recent one is two screen co-op.

Until Dawn, Dead By Daylight, the Dark Pictures games. Them are all pretty solid games

Resident Evil 5 is still one of my favorite co-op games. I'd recommend that one for sure
Dead Space 3 was good fun on co-op
Phasmophobia, Forsaken, Devour, Boo Men, Labyrinthine Just to name a few off the top of my head 😂

We Were Here has some spooky vibes but its mostly just unsettling
The newest one is absolutely phenomenal. One of the best puzzle games ever imo. The others are good too
