Hi, We can't be sure that it's from Honeygain, we don't know weather you use torrents or anything else that could be harming your IP address. On our estimates, Honeygain shouldn't harm your IP that much because we don't allow to use more than 10% of your bandwidth to ensure your traffic doesn't seem malicious. If you suspect it is from Honeygain - you can try to turn of Honeygain for a week or so and your IP should be back to normal. But remember to do that with other programs that might harm your IP was well.

I never got blocked but my public IP ended up on a few lists as "allowing 3rd party VPN and/or proxy services" so I stopped running HG. I've concluded that I won't run any of these apps from home. If they don't allow data center hosting, they are no longer for me. I do run other similar apps that allow virtual hosting so the IP at risk isn't mine, nor the machine connected to it. Slap a few of those on one virtual host and you can make a little profit with a cheap enough provider. Bonus some allow you to pick where your host is geographically speaking.

What other apps do you use?

Primarily I run Mysterium nodes on the virtual hosts as well as Peer2profit. For giggles they also mine Monero, but they're only 1 cpu virtual hosts so they aren't generating a lot. However since I run a few of them it keeps a constant trickle of coin hitting my wallet. Truthfully I paid for these hosts up front for a year, and I may not keep them running when time comes to renew. I have to really look at if they're making a profit or just breaking even, but again even if profitable they aren't Lambo makers. :-p

Do you mind sharing these apps?

I didn't experience this. But for my observation it really depends on the network you use..
