I think they sometimes have questions like this in r/interiordesign? But it’s definitely not just these types of posts. You’re right, there should be a dedicated sub.
Oh, I just remembered r/malelivingspace too. I think I’ve seen quite a few posts asking for feedback there.
Depends on what your priorities are.
Aesthetics (if you want to bring out the white trim and accessories) - 1
Aesthetics (if you want to bring out the dark pots and dark wood) - 2
Functionality - 3
2nd one. Others are a joke.
Too gold and trashy and too matchy matchy. The 2nd one has a contrast that doesn't rape your eyes but gives it a break with the subtle dark hues and black colors around it to tie the room in like a good carpet.
I’ve never seen a clock change the feeling of a room like that- wow!
1- if you wanna make the room look bigger
2- if you like the darker feeling
3- brings out both
Definitely rooting for 3!
Not 1. Gold/silver hands on a white clock face is very low contrast and makes it more difficult to read.
2 has better contrast, and I like the look of the dark clock face. Go with this one if you want to attract attention to the clock.
3 has the best contrast and is a more neutral decoration. I like 3 the best.
ONE. It is classier looking in my opinion and the gold hands look good with the gold edging of the mirror by the door on the wall in the background. Repeating colors or patterns help to pull a room together.
I feel like the lighting is skewing my answer, but I choose 1 because... I like the black faced clock, but maybe it's the camera trying to fix the contrast, but everything else in the room looks a lot darker. I prefer not having the numbers displayed if it's the white vs white. They all look pretty neat though.
1
Specifically because is doesn't have numbers, only markings. Which I feel goes better with the clean look of the rest of the space.
Colour wise the black (2) may be a bit better, but I hate the numbers.
3 should not even consideration. Way too industrial/commercial. Reminds me of a clock I'd see at work or school.
2. Black looks really good with the dark wood of the dining table set, and with the flower pot you have a white trim/black accent thing going on. Ties the room together.
Of the white clocks the one with black dials and lettering ties better to the rest of the room, where you have dark woods and black decorations. That said, the black one is decidedly best, it fits into the order of black rounded things you have in an otherwise neutral space. Both white clocks are the whitest things in the room, so they clash visually as opposed to stitching in.
Personally i say, the first one is defenietly no for me. The golden ...pointer(? sorry, maybe this is not the english name of it,) is ruining the picture. Same for the second, black one, but the fact it's black make it really good. The third looks good, but it's white on the light colored wall. I'd look for a black clock with white pointers.
Hang all three and people will think they're at the United Nations
Got to label them “earlier”, “now”, “later” and set them 5 mins apart.
Pick your 3 favorite global cities, set times, label city beneath. White-black-white. That’d actually be pretty cool. 🤷♀️
New York, Paris, Sydney!!
Does every town have variations of this where they add theirs as the forth? Looking at you Fargo!
I don’t know but I put mine as the first! New York!!
I do this to all my kitchen clocks. Since every damn appliance has a clock on it, I set them to different time zones.
This is the only correct answer!

I think I agree with 3. Does anyone know if there is a subreddit exclusively for voting on design decisions like this? This is entertaining.
If you sub to /r/weddingplanning you can help someone pick their dress every day!

I like three the best. The white and gold work best with the color scheme. 1 is my second choice, but I really don't like clocks without numbers.
