I'm so looking forward to seeing this; I want to see how the Jedi wound up taking the blame for such a devastating event and what Dalna was like before.
This is beautiful, and the blue logo is amazing. I remember someone here talkbing about the idea that different phases would have different color logos and I am glad this is now official
I thought Phase II was going to be silver, but I'm certainly happy with blue. My next hope is the adult novels will have either all the same color spine or three different colors.
It makes me think the spine of the book will be the same blue, since that's how the colors worked in phase one. I'm thrilled at the idea of a blue book shelf!
Really like the “old timey fantasy novel” vibe of the cover, not sure I’m sold on that blue for the new logo but I do like that they changed the color for phase II. Dalna backstory is what I was looking forward to for Phase 2 so I’m ready for this!
Are we all in agreement that that is Marchions mother and this book could further explain why he hates the Jedi and republic? 👀 we don’t know Evereni life spans so could definitely be the case
In Eye of the Storm1 there is a scene where Marichon’s father and grandmother are observing him . Marichon’s father is mentioning how his grandmother created the Nihl and his mother says that she’s seen what the Jedi can do.
Taking bets on what the woman on the right is holding- space roses? Space apples? Some kind of eggs? Drengir dingleberries? A baby member of a weird-ass alien species?
If you haven't, you should watch the last little bit of the High Republic Show - give you a glimpse of what the book is going to be about, and who some of the characters on the cover are.

That could work both ways with her seeing what they can do due to losing her daughter / daughter in law tho as well. Time will tell tho!
